Make sure you can read it........2007-12-25
Standard SD and SDHC cards look identical in size and shape, only SDHC-compatible products will be able to accept the new SDHC cards. SanDisk differentiates its new cards with the new SDHC logo on the card and retail package.
Now my web research finds that at the time of its release Wes Brewer, vice president of consumer product marketing at SanDisk, said, "In order to provide the easiest and most compatible solution for 4GB and larger capacity SDHC cards in the market, SanDisk chose to bundle its new MicroMate USB 2.0 SD/SDHC compatible card reader, which normally retails for $19.99, with this new card."
Note this deal does not include a reader.
In my case the device I bought it for can read it. Without the dedicated reader my year old HP computer cannot .

There is nothing wrong with the card!
The HC model cards work in digital cameras.... Canon, Nikon, etc.
However, it can NOT be read with any reader, unless it is made specifically to read HC cards. I got SanDisk reader and won't read it.
Had to resort to USB download from the camera, that always work and maybe just as fast. It's just a hassle to plug in things.
Five star for the card.
It's not the card's fault that it can not be read by old reader.
It works in old cameras as well.... if you have a name brand; canon, nikon.

Bought for a new camera and works fine. Many older SD card units won't handle 4GB and larger cards so make sure that yours will. If you are buying this for a PC there are USB adapters for these larger cards.

I just bought the Canon PowerShot SD1000 and coupled it with this sandisk
memory card. Huge memory....4gb. You can shoot high def 30 minute movies
with the camera. Loads in two seconds, usb out in ten seconds. This is very cheap compared to what memory used to cost.

It's nice to have 4GB in your camera and be able to take pictures at max resolution and not have to worry about running out of space. I've been using SanDisk cards for 6 years now and never had a single problem. Be warned however, if you have a somewhat older digital camera, it may not recognize a card of this size and the card will be useless. I don't know why they don't mention this in the product spec, hence the 4 stars. Check your camera's user manual for max memory capabilities, if any.

This is an excellent card and works as advertised in supported devices. Consumers who aren't smart enough to check if their device is supported shouldn't hold their lack of knowledge against SanDisk. I own 28 SanDisk Ultra II cards (a mix of CF and SD) and they have all been flawless.

I use this card with my Nikon D80 DSLR and it is superb. As per the other user reviews, make sure your device can use SDHC (different than just SD) before buying this card, but if your device is compatible, this card is super. And 4GB for $50 is a good deal....
I bought mine with a usb adaptor, so it just plugs into my PC no problem

I purchased this memory card for my Nikon D80 camera. The card works well, holding over 1000 shots at Jpg Normal quality. I am very glad the card came with a card reader, since this card cannot be recognized by my other SD card reader. This SD card will also NOT work in my Canon SD450. These electronic items appearantly do NOT accept SD HC.

This card is faster at writing the picture to the card then the other SD cards I have used in the past. Plus at 4 GIG, I can take full resolution pictures and not worry about space! The reader works and is handy! You can plug it in to anyone's USB port and download your pictures with out using the camera or battery power!

A portable reader that supports SD/SDHC/MMC/MMC II/RS MMC/Ultra II SD/Extreme SD/ Extreme III SD/ Mini SD/MMC Micro/T-Flash cards and chips. The plug-and-play reader works with Windows and MACs. I have a couple of other card readers that are suppose to handle SDHC but those that do work, have a slower transfer rate. I highly recommend this reader.
