Product Description
The 1930's were an age of lost innocence with a redefinition of wealth as people struggled to survive the depression and public works projects launched civilization further into the 20th century. The rumbling beginnings that would lead to World War II were beyond the horizon of life in the USA. Music was the thing and swing was king on radio waves and records. Teac GF-350 Nostalgia Stereo System is reminiscent of that period of the 20th century. It also adds a CD Recorder Player (records directly from turntable phono, or from an auxiliary input onto CDR CDRW discs). It lets you convert your old phonograph record collection into a modern CD collection. It's the best of both eras. 3-Speed Belt-drive turntable plays 78, 33, and 45 RPM records with automatic tonearm return at end of play Rotary volume control with on/off Function selector Backlit LCD Jack for adding optional headphone Wireless Remote Control 1 Auxiliary Audio input Requires 120V AC, 60Hz USA Plug (power cord included) Size WHD - 18.87 x 9.12 (unopened) x 15.00 Weighs - 22.5 pounds
Amazon.com Product Description
Finally, there's a way to burn vinyl to CD that doesn't require a computer or an engineering degree. With Teac's GF-350 turntable and CD recorder combo system, you simply load a blank CD-R or CD-RW, put on your LP, press "record," lower the tone arm, and press "play." You can record the entire album or simply pull select favorites from your entire collection to make your own unique compilations. Monitor your recording through the systems amplifier (3.5 watts per channel x 2) and twin 3-inch speakers, or avail yourself of the convenient front-panel .125-inch headphone jack.
The system is finished in black with a handsome woodgrain texture. Level meters and other CD feedback is visible from the system's backlit LCD. Please note that the GF-350 records only with CDs designated as "music" or "digital audio" (also CD-DA); computer-grade data CD-Rs are incompatible.
The GF-350 also offers features like automatic or manual track increment options (with 2 different level thresholds to choose from), manual record-level control, and an auxiliary set of RCA stereo analog audio inputs for recording from external sources like cassette, reel-to-reel tape, or even another CD player or MP3 player. Playback features include shuffle play, repeat play (1/all), and 32-track programming.
Tune in your favorite swing or big-band station on the rotary analog AM/FM tuner. The turntable supports 33-1/3, 45, or 78 rpm records, so you can play your entire collection--it even comes with a handy center-hole adapter for your 7-inch/45 rpm singles. A remote lets you operate everything from the comfort of your easy chair (but remember, you still have to get up to flip the records!).
What's in the Box
GF-350 system, 7-inch record adapter, a remote control, remote batteries, a user's manual, and warranty information.

Return Policy.......2007-12-16
Foolishly I did not review the return policy from Best In Home before purchasing the TEAC GF-350 Turntable/CD. I bought this as a surprise for my husband and he surprised me by not wanting it because it did not record cassettes. While I was impressed by how quickly I received the item, I was dismayed by what the cost was going to be to return it. Not only am I forced to pay for the "free shipping" that I received, but I am also going to have to pay a restocking fee of $22.75. The total cost will be $42.75, plus what it's going to cost for me to ship it.
I fully expect to pay the shipping cost of returning the item, but the other has taken me by surprise and has made me aware of the importance of reviewing the return policies of any items that I buy from unknown merchants in the future.
Returned -poor quality.......2007-12-07
Product was returned do to very poor recording quality. The product DOES NOT come near the quality as witten in the spec's. Definetely a NO GO item.
NOT RECOMMENDED
LP's to CD easily-just like the old days.......2007-12-06
This reminded me of when I used to put LP's & CD's on cassette so I could play them in my car. Now I can finally put LP's on CD! Very simple to use. You just have to get the Digital Music CD's and you're all set.
Not great, but OK.......2007-12-06
I tried a friend's machine (that is now on e-bay). The recording was ok but when I tried to clean it up from a rw disk, the file name was either unrecognizable or had to be converted for editing. I then tried to enter the tracks into my i-tunes and they came our very warbly. The disck from the machine seems to play ok but if you want to edit, clean, reduce pops and clicks, forget about it.
LP to CD.......2007-11-29
This product provided good results for copying LPs to CD. I did find the documentation a tad clunky and chose to use my better turntable instead of the on provided. However if you're copying 78s the supplied tt with ceramic cartridge might be OK.
I suggest a first time user plan to use up a few discs in learning how to use this device. But blank CDs are not expensive, so this is not really a problem.
My results have been very good.

Good intel and proper gear are the keys to victory. With the Logitech G15 keyboard, you get both. Now you can easily discover on which server your friends are playing Battlefield 2142, be notified when your World of Warcraft battleground becomes available and know exactly who's talking in Ventrilo with the Logitech G15 keyboard's exclusive GamePanel LCD. You can also create useful macros on the fly that play back with a single press of one of the six G keys. As every key features illuminated characters, with three levels of brightness, you can keep playing late into the night.
Customer Reviews:
Great Keyboard but still can be improved.......2007-12-27
I love the idea and design of the new G15, they complains about passing from 18 macro keys to 6, 12 whould be better.
Pros:
The design, the backlight, the LCD, all the custom applets you can add with LCDStudio. I love this thing.
Cons:
The backlight, if you use to sit a little far from it you just can see the buton half of the chars in the keys.
USB 1.1?, please do it right!, add an AC adapter to the keyboard and lets have 2.0 USB ports, pen drives, iPods will have a decent transfer rate this way.
Macro keys, 18 was too much and made the keyboard to big, 6 are too few, maybe enough for gaming but as the keyboard lac of many funtion keys, like calculator, web sites and stuff, 6 keys aren't enough to complete the usefull set of keys we need, 12 macro keys would do it better.
The stand, if the 2 little feet at the botom could be longer so the keyboard has more angle, would be great.
But I still love this thing.
Very good keyboard..........2007-12-27
I won't repeat the items in other reviews but I am happy with the keyboard. One thing I would like to specifically mention is that you can assign the "G" keys to "Functions..." such as opening Media Player, Calculator, e-mail, My Computer, and Internet Explorer. You can also assing keys to "Shortcuts" which means you can have a keystroke do ANYTHING you can do with a shortcut (open a folder, run a program, etc.)
I don't think there is a keyboard yet that allows you to change the backlight color but that would be great. It would also be nice if there was an optional power supply to allow the USB ports to be powered so you could plug in non-powered devices such as Passport External Hard Drive. The USB ports work fine for thumb drives and devices with their own power supply though.
Logitech G15 Keyboard - Version 2.......2007-12-18
Overall excellent. Only thing I wish is a different illuminating color since the orange color doesn't match the rest of my computer.
Excellent for gaming!
This is the perfect keyboard, great for buisness and gamiing.......2007-12-14
I have had this board for about 3 weeks now and I had my last one for 6 years. I never thought it was worth the money to get a keyboard so I just kept my old one till it was just having some conflicts.
I am glad I waited to get this board and not the old G15 because I want one that fits and looks like a regular keyboard. The Display is so usefull, I like the hardware monitor andthe count down timer is so handy. Also the media player is great.
While in a game or while waiting for the computer to do something I can view the performance information and it will show me what the computer is doing, or if its stuck.
IT WILL SHOW A SEPARATE BAR FOR EACH CORE, I HAVE A QUAD CORE AND ITS NICE TO SEE WHICH PROGRAMS USE ALL 4 CORES AND WHICH ONES DON'T.
I tried the program buttons and it was very easy, I just don't need them but if you like hot keys they make it so easy. I made one for creating new folders and now I just press one button and... wham!, a new folder. Simple I know but thats what this board is all about.
Best Feature: Lighted keys, ALL KEYS. There is a light adjustment button as well.
MYTH: volume keys are great even though some people here make it sound like they are cheap. They are not cheap and work very well, however its not a dial.... you choose.
BAD: 2 USB ports, however they aren't good for anything that needs the usual USB power.
Bottom Line: Great Board, feels nice and has full size keys that "click" like a desktop not a laptop. Very durable and I don't expect the keys to wipe off because they are etched. Should last another 6 years.
Have Fun

Customer Reviews:
How to ruin your wii remote for the low price of $10.......2007-12-26
Our family received one of this for Christmas. It seemed like a good combination of fit and function. However, when the wii remote was inserted in the carrier, one of the foam strips inside the carrier stuck to the infrared window. It has been impossible to remove this adhesive, and now the wii remote no longer works correctly. The foam strips are placed in such a way that there is no possible way to put the remote in without having the foam rub up against (and therefore possibly stick to) the infrared window.
So even after this, if you still consider purchasing this item, be aware that you cannot use the remote to navigate any of the wii menus while it is inside the carrier. Based on the way the carrier is made, it would probably be only a matter of time before one of the foam strips broke off.
Making driving games much easier..........2007-08-27
Sure it may just be psychological but I do find it easier to race with one of these in my hands.
It really does make it easier to hold the remote and the price is ok.
I would recommend it for anyone that has any racing games!
Works well for a great price!.......2007-07-23
When I first saw an ad for this product I thought it would be a standalone controller, complete with its own wireless, motion sensor, and need for batteries. All of this, of course, would make it very expensive, so I wondered why anyone would even think this is worth it. But thankfully, it is just an attachment for your regular Wii remote, making it only ten bucks new! It works great, and was easy to get used to, even if it doesn't really let me hold it the way I hold an actual steering wheel. I was never any good at the racing mini-games on my Warioware and Mario Party games (I don't actually own any racing games) because I found it really annoying to hold the remote in the driving configuration ("The Chauffeur" position in Warioware). Although it's inconvenient to use and switch around for mini-games, it definitely helped, and at 10 dollars it still felt worth it. If you play a lot of motion sensing racing games, I'd say that this is undoubtedly worth it, since it erases the awkwardness and inconvenience of holding the Wii remote by the edges.

Excellent product!.......2007-12-28
These are great little speaker at a super price. They work very well with ScanDisk mp3 players. Amazingly full sound for their size. I only wish the came with an AC/DC adapter. However, since they do have the DC input, finding one should not be a problem.
Don't Leave Home Without It!.......2007-12-20
This is an absolute must-have for those who cannot be without their iPods and music while on the go. Perfect for the beach, a hotel room or visiting friends & relatives who aren't (and may never be) part of the iPod generation. I researched endlessly before purchasing my Altec/Lansing home system instead of the Bose (price, treble/bass functions, etc). With that major purchase out of the way, I still needed something that was highly portable but offered great sound output and had a generous battery life. I found it in this product. What a perfect companion piece. I take it easily from the office, back to home and then out with me again whenever the need dictates. Perfect, built-in carrying case. The only (and I mean only) issue I had was with the battery compartment cover. One of the prongs broke off when I was putting in a new set of batteries after receiving the item. Quite delicate. But, no worries. I slapped a piece of white duct tape on it and voila, it sits perfectly on a level surface and I can't see the tape. Other than that - this is a winner, hands-down.
MikeG.......2007-12-11
I was so impressed after hearing the quality of these small speakers that I ordered a second one for my daughter-in-law's small dvd player that needs sound enhancement for some dvd movies when playing. It is well worth the money, that's for sure!
Good Travel Speakers.......2007-12-08
This products work good for travel. It is small and compact and the case keep the speakers safe from bumps. I use it with a SanDisk player but it will work with any player with a mini plug input. The 3 d sound helps. The only con is if you have music with deep base. You may need to modify your base to not overload the speakers and distort the sound. Of course this is expected with speakers of this type and size. Overall a very good product to listen to your tunes in a hotel room while traveling.
Biggest Sound For the Buck.......2007-12-08
1 Great Sound with sufficient loudness that beats internal laptop speakers
2 Great packaging : comes in jewel like case which shows pride in the workmanship which appears excellent
3 Easy and versatile hookup : usb or batteries or external power supply
4 Positions nicely on top of laptop screem.
5 Hard to beat for the money approx 25 bucks including shipping
6 Exceeds expectations.
After reading the specs and some user reviews bought the speakers and was pleasantly surprised.

plus the best part... Amazon Rules!... the first mouse i got was defected(stuff happens)... so i was like dammm... contacted Amazon(email) 3 clicks later and two days later a brand spanking new mouse... hassle free....
Killer mouse.......2007-12-17
This mouse has everything. I especially like the tilt wheel that can be programmed. Its very comfortable & responsive. Logitech always puts forth a great product.
Sick!.......2007-12-13
This mouse is great, i Love it...Looks Sick with my saitek red Keyboard! Very Very Very Responsive...BEst for gaming!
Ugly, but amazing.......2007-12-08
This is probly the uglest mouse I have ever owned... having said that I have nothing else bad to say about this mouse.
The speed changing is nice on the fly
The weights are amazing
Both grips are perfect for me (I wear Medium to Large work gloves)
The glide is just perfect on the mouse.
I suppose I would like to see a grip that moves the thumb buttons back about 1/4" but when fingertipping it's not an issue (and that's how I play FPSs any way). When playing RTSs I don't use the thumb buttons so I'm not sure it's even an issue.
Overall a very solid mouse whether for games or artists or even just a normal user.
logitech G9 review.......2007-12-02
I love this mouse! it is almost overkill because it is so great. this is like the chuck norris of computer mice!

Deep-sea research, disaster relief and interplanetary exploration are all done by Robos -- popular and easily customized machines. Now that criminals have taken to using these mighty miniature machines as weapons, the Custom Robo phenomenon has grown into a problem for the whole of society. Competitors battle customized robot warriors in holographic battle arenas. Victory is determined not only by fighting skill but also by how well Robo Commanders design their robot gladiators, so players need both brawn and brains to survive.

Great Game .......2007-08-09
My son just loves it, he was so happy and he enjoys this game a lot!
Just needs a little more..........2007-07-31
I really want to like this game more, but there just not enough to go on. The battles are fun--in fact, this is sort of what I wanted the MegaMan Battle Network GBA to be like, rather than turn-based clunkers--but they're incredibly repetitive and don't seem to get much more challenging over time. The RPG aspect of it is tedious, slow moving, lacking in rewards for time investment and doesn't add much to the game play at all.
Robo bashing fun with an RPG undertone.......2007-07-16
As far as gameplay goes the robo battles are a blast, controls are precise (depending on your bot) and the graphics are some of the better on the DS yet. The game goes into molasses mode though when as a kid ala The Pokemon games you wander around school, your town etc.. this is where you start battles get parts for your bot etc... It is a cool RPGish system once you get into, but the kiddy feeling is inescapable. Cool game just slows way down when you aren't battling.
Recommended for customization, robo fans with a high tolerance for dialogue and map wandering.
Great game, slightly on the short side........2007-07-08
The fighting was great, story was a bit short. Kinda reminds me of the old Gundam games back on the Japanese Super Nes days. You customize the robots, earn $, and actually fight it out in a action battle.
Wish the story was a bit longer, kinda wanted more after the main story finished so abruptly.
A great game, minus the story.......2007-05-08
The game itself plays beautifully on the DS. I've also played Custom Robo which was released on the Gamecube, and minus the minor graphics downgrade (seeing the DS isn't quite as powerful as the 'Cube) it ran just as fast. The only thing that I had to get used to was the childish story elements, that and some of the nearly impossible fights as the game progressed. But other than that, great fighting game, and it even includes WiFi. Definitely reccomend this game!

BOUNTY HUNTER, Hat & Detector Carrying Bag
Amazon.com Review
While there may be metal treasures under the asphalt of the parking lot, most modern day bounty hunters prefer to get away from their automobiles to more fertile territory before getting down to business. Likewise, the bounty hunter code of ethics rules out prospecting on private property, environmental reserves, and historical or archeological sites, so finding the right beach or park to comb may require some foot travel. To protect a sensitive metal detector in transit, Bounty Hunter offers this metal detector carry bag.
The bag accommodates all Bounty Hunter metal detectors with S-rod configurations and displays the Bounty Hunter logo on its side. Crafted in sturdy outer nylon shell with double stitching, the bag protect from dust, debris, weathering, and light water damage. A rust-resistant zipper provides quick access to the detector while keeping the bag firmly closed when sealed. For transporting spare batteries or stowing found goods, the bag provides outer pockets with zippers. Users carry the bag by two large handles. The USA-made bag measures 28 by 10 inches with expandable width and weighs 1.8 pounds upon shipping. --Jessica Reuling
Customer Reviews:
I wouldn't buy another one........2007-08-31
I saw a review where the guy said he could put two detectors and all his equipment in the bag. I can't. It's a cramped fit to put one Sharp Shooter two in it, and that's after you take it apart and put the two pieces in the bag. There is enough room for 8" and 4" coils and headphones, but you have to take everything out of the bag to get to them. The bag is cramped with the detector alone and offers no padding for protection. If it sold in the $5 to $10 range, I would have given it two stars.

Serious Design Flaw.......2007-12-21
When replacing print cartridges there is a folding, wire spring that contacts the cartridge. The spring easily comes out of place. If so, it will damage a printed circuit when the cartridge is installed. The printer is now worthless. I had no luck with support or repair parts. Searching for help, discovered multiple postings of this issue.
Wireless connections.......2007-11-17
Hesitated taking this HP Deskjet 6940 out of the box, because I dredded hooking up to my two desktops and one wireless laptop. Well, once I got started, the printer was able to install itself fairly easily - yea, there were a couple glitches and it took me a couple days to get all three on-line - but it all works very well. I would recommend this printer for small home networks.
Printer very good, Driver very bad........2007-10-25
The physical DJ6940 printer is great. Good clear printing, no misfeeds, no hassles.
The 6940 driver package is terrible. It has bugs, has a ton of useless add-ons, and, if you can get it to work, causes the printer to run painfully slow.
The best fix for us, was to just install the drivers for the Deskjet 990c. With the 990c driver, the printer prints perfectly and is very fast to get the first page out. We don't do anything exotic, so this was the best solution.
HP Deskjet 6940.......2007-10-07
So far, this printer has worked flawlessly. Print quality is very good. It engages the paper sheets properly, so when printing 3-to-a-page checks, everything is properly aligned. I have used it for printing label sheets, and again it grabs the heavy sheet properly so the labels are printed nicely. As with all printers, the ink cartridges are overpriced.
Works well.......2007-10-03
This printer is pretty easy to set up, and it works as promised. Pictures are of high quality as is type face. Printer seems reliable so far, it looks good, doesn't take up much space, and was reasonable priced. It was the best deal I was able to find and I'm very satisfied with it.
