digital camera.......2007-12-12
This camera broke after 30days.
the flash refused to work even after changing batteries, changing battery brands...
Not worth it! .......2007-10-30
It's cheap, but that's where the positives end. Very poor picture quality just makes the size meaningless. Yeah, it's very small and lightweight, but the idea of a camera is to take pictures...and in several different conditions, the pics we took with this camera were grainy. No matter ho wmuch light we had, still grainy. Very disappointing. I used it for a while, then sold it!
Horrible.......2007-09-24
Don't buy this. I saved up for it during my freshman year of college because I really wanted a camera and I was so disapointed when I received this. I recently gave it to my 8 year old brother to play with. Its too crappy to pawn off to someone on ebay. Dont waste your money. Eats batteries before you can even take a picture and the flash feature is terrible, along with the quality of the pictures.
This product sucks!!!!.......2007-08-11
Do not..I repeat... DO NOT waste your money on this thing..it is garbage!!!! you have to carry around a stack of batteries just to take more than 5 pictures. There is a delayed second flash so unless you tell everyone your taking pictures of to wait for both flashes your going to get a lot of blurry faces. The picture quality is disgusting and impossible to edit. You can't take any close up pictures with the flash on because all you would see is hair and eyes.. I recently used it at a wedding and tried to take decent pictures from 3 rows away but even that failed to produce anything nice. When I took some pictures outdoors everybody including the background was blue...please save your self the frustration and opt for a more better quality camera..
JUST BOUGHT IT AND LOVE IT!.......2006-04-05
The camera is very easy to use, I just received it last week and can't wait to start using it. I took a couple of shots just to see how it worked and it's very easy. It has a big screen on the back...and it's also easy to hook up to a pc.
Perfect for the girls...my other camera was too big to take out when partying and this one fits perfectly in my purse. And if I lose...oh well, no big deal, it's so inexpensive!!

A rather good Camera.......2006-07-02
Ok so i've had this CAmera for more than a year now and it has suited me well. I have a 512mb SD which you never have to worry about running out of picture space unless it's filled with video which by the way can fit 1.5 hrs. I've used this camera's features limitlessly and enjoyed them throughout the way. THe pictures come out amazing outside you just need to learn how to keep a steady hand and the rest comes naturaly. THe only issue is taking night stills but with the flash it's not really a problem. The Video feature in this mini camcorder blows my mind. I've taken many videos of me and my family and friends and the quality is smooth and clear on my 17in. monitor. no huge square pixels. THe sound is a little downer but it's managable. THe Mp3 feature from this camera is something to love. just pop in a few songs on the card and your ready to listen. The battery life, as many people say is short, but i have 4aaa rechargable Rayovak batteries in and they last me about a week of taking pictures. This camera is rather amazing and i recommend it to kids and adults alike.
Instant Nostalgia - This Cam is Great.......2006-06-30
Flick the switch, count 1 - 2, and press the record button. That's all that's needed to begin capturing memories. This is the video equivalent of a point and shoot camera. After 8 months I've accumulated a nice archive of video moments that would have been lost forever was it not for the quick readiness of this mini cam.
>>The most unexpected treat is this - The 20 frames per second, color saturation and fantasy-like highlights that occur in bright light situations create very unique videos. The videos have a nostalgic quality that is really reminiscent of 8mm film that has been colorized and run through some nice filters.
>>Take some time to get to know the camera. It has several filters (including sepia) and functions that add value to the camera. >>Regardless of claims to the contrary, a one gig memory card works and holds about 1.5 hours of video. AMAZING.
>>It's only meant for well lighted situations. >>Buy rechargeable batteries. >>This camera is great but expect videos that are clear but not close to the quality of those filmed with a MiniDV camera. Remember, this DXG is not out to replace your MiniDV camcorder but to capture the fleeting moments of life that a MiniDV cannot.
poor quality.......2006-04-02
I recieved this camera as a gift, when I opened it I was so excited because it looks like an expensive piece of equipment at first glance. Once I picked it up I saw that it was very light and flimsy. It uses AAA batteries which concerns me on
whether or not it will be powerful enough or have good battery life at all. It WILL NOT take pictures in an area where the light is dim! Outside it will allow for ok video but to zoom in or out is useless, this camera does not have good focus from any more that 3 feet away. If you intend to use this camera for actual picture taking or video that is not 3 feet close and outside, dont waist your money!
Pleased.......2005-12-22
This device isnt spetacular, but it is all around pleasing. Its crap for low light video, but the flash makes up for its camera features in poor light, and what dufass settles for crap rechargeble batteries when Lithuims are the only choice for Digital products. I also dont know to many cameras that acts as a storage device and Mp3 player. That gives it my pleased rating, but it is far from a 5 star spetacular. Besides, now I leave my overpriced Nano home to enjoy music on what I manly use as just a camera.
The Last review must not be correct on the memory card.......2005-10-30
I was searching online, and found the online manual for this camera and they has the statistics for a 1gb card. It must accept a 1gb sandisk card if they have the stats for it.

good for the money..........2007-10-01
For the money this camera is not a bad investment. I just bought it a few days ago and have used it quite a few times. The battery depletes a bit quickly but I have found that most digital cameras "eat up" batteries so this doesn't bother me much. The picture quality could be better but, like I said, for the money it isn't bad...
ultra-budget deal camera.......2007-09-07
Cheap LCD display, but OK for $100. Pictures are pretty good quality, although the digital zoom sucks and makes your picture look like something from a NASA space probe launched in the 1970s. I had a problem using my 2GB mini-SD card, and had to create a 512mb partition because 2GB wouldn't work. I got it to crash hard once (my ROM version 1.03US). If you are on a budget or if you have never had a digital camera before, this is a good camera for you. Worth the risk
