Customer Reviews:
Short life span, good while it lasted........2007-09-17
I bought my Kodak Easyshare CX7330 in February of 2005. It did well although the older it got, the more it ate batteries. With the money I have spent on batteries I would have been better off getting one with a charger and a pack. I have also tried every type of AA battery out there and it is the camera itself with the issues. Now, 2 and a half years later it has taken it's last pictures. The trouble began with when I would turn it on the indicator light would pop up green, then immediately flash red and the lens would not extend out. Sometimes it would work, sometimes not. Now I can put fresh batteries in and if I hold it just right I can take a few pictures, then the low battery icon comes on the screen and it goes dead, even without retracting the lens. As I said, it was a great little camera while it lasted, but I think I will get something more hardy next time.
Great little camera.......2007-05-27
This camera doesn't have a cool look, though it does a great job! The photos are not that good when it is displayed on the LCD screen. Once you uploaded it to the PC, the quality is much better. I first thought that this wouldn't be a decent camera because it is only 3MP. But it turns out that I like it so much that I am not even bothering to look for a higher MP camera. I strongly recommend this camera!
Great at first, Horrible Afterwards.......2007-01-12
I've had this Camera for going on 4 years now. I must say, for the years that I've owned it, there is absolutely no excuse for the lack of battery life. In the beginning everything was working fine. This camera has sustained about a good month of use throughout the years. It is greatly disappointing to learn that my camera is suffering a slow demise, despite the limited use. DO NOT BUY THIS CAMERA! There have been far too many sporting events that have been ruined just because I couldn't record a homerun at a baseball game, or capture a slam dunk at a basketball game. It pains me to give this camera a poor review, because it was reliable at first. But it has severed rules of engagement with its user. Do not buy this item, nor receive it as a gift!
Grerat camera still.......2006-12-02
I bought this little guy with my second paycheck as a teacher. That was about threee years ago and to this day I still have no desire to look for a different camera. This little guy is awesome.
I highly recommend you learning how to get a steady hand if you want to use the digital zoom but that goes with every digital gadget around. If you can hold a camera still (I sometimes use a tripod, the same one I use for my video camera) you can get great shots. I have taken pictures in the mountains of Colorado from Golden (Lookout Mountain) and have good pictures of the Denver Skyline.
Low light pictures are not the best. My wife used the camera when we were in St. Peters Basilica and the quality dropped. I will let you decide if it was the lighting or the user :)
The auto function on the camera is excellent for almost all types of pictures. You could buy the camera and never use any of the other functions (not real fun though) and get great pictures.
Great camera
Affordable digital camera; nothing more, nothing less.......2006-11-25
This is a pretty standard digital camera; for those of you who want something simple and easy to use, without many advanced/special features, this is a good camera for you.
Pros:
-Easy to use; the buttons are pretty much right in front of you.
-6 different modes; an auto for general use, one for objects in motion, one for dark scenes, one for landscapes, and one for close-ups. It also has a video option.
-It's not incredibly small, but it'll fit in your pocket.
-If you turn the live view off (where you see the image on the screen before taking the photo), the battery life is pretty good (just don't take many videos). A few days ago, I took about 60 pictures and about 10 videos that were about 20 seconds each.
Cons:
-It can't take pictures in the dark. Or, for that matter, anything without a big, visible light source. When in auto mode, the pictures become waay to dark and undefined, but the shutter speed for the night mode is ridiculously long, so no matter how still your subject/hand is, it'll be too blurry.
-The batteries fall out easily. Twice during concerts, I've lost batteries because I rubbed against the bottom of the camera.
-The zoom isn't terrific. In fact, it doesn't really 'zoom in' at all; the closest you can get on any mode except for close-up is the same as you'd see through your naked eye. But that's where the close-up feature comes in handy. (It's only if you want great detail on objects near you, such as flowers; any further and it's just a big blur)
-Without a tripod and a still subject, it's hard to get clear photos on the night and close-up mode.
You can get decent photos with this camera under the right conditions, but this is just a simple camera for unprofessional images. Probably good if you're on a family vacation to Disneyland, or on an outing with friends. In broad daylight, that is. It's not necessarily a bad camera, but it was insufficient for my needs. And yes, this is a horrible camera to take to concerts.

Customer Reviews:
I Love This Camera!.......2006-12-21
I purchased this camera and printer dock in January 2006. I did have an issue with the battery life, but after i bought rechargable batteries (20.00 with charger) I never had an issue again, . This camera definately takes great pictures, and can even be used as a video recorder. I have no complaints what so ever. Love it, Love it, Love it!!!
Battery Power Problems.......2006-11-27
Like other reviewers, I've had issues with the camera shutting down or not powering up at all, even with new batteries. I've tried 3 different battery types, with no solution. These problems started after 6 months of light use (30-40 pictures). I think this camera has a firmware bug or internal defect. A definite lemon. I won't buy a Kodak again.
KODAK CX7330 - CHARGING ISSUES.......2006-06-07
I purchased this camera in Dec. 04. I started having charging probelms shortly after. Sent back to Kodak 3 different times before they finally replaced with a refurbished camera. Now having same problem. Camera will not hold charge and will not turn on or shut off shortly after turning on. Customer service in India has been useless. Spent over 7 hours on the phone with them so far. Alleged "consumer advocate" is supposed to help. Should really be called company advocate as Kodak pays him/her not the consumer.
Very disappointed!.......2006-01-14
I agree with Shelly. This camera takes great pictures BUT worked properly for about a month. I sent it back to kodak and they repaired some things and it's malfunctioning again! It is no longer under warranty so I might as well by a new one. It goes off and on by itself, the lens pops out, then back in, its ridiculous. They said for me to use lithium batteries, so that I did, and they do last forever it seems (much longer than rechargable) but its still acting up. I thought I would've gotten a much better camera from kodak. Going to try a different brand next.
Great camera/printer for a beginner.......2005-02-11
Bought this for my eleven year old daughter. She had no problems figuring out how to use the camera. The printer dock is fairly easy to set up and the pictures turn out as good as or better than the local one hour photo places. She has enjoyed taking photos and using the movie mode, too. Even though it's more expensive than a film camera, you save by not having to print all the bad shots. I highly recommend it. I would give 5 stars, but I haven't used the camera/printer myself.
