This is an excellent digital camera. Bought it for my wife and she loves how simple it use. Battery charge last a long time.
Good Camera For the Price.......2007-12-21
Pretty nice camera. Pretty cheap now-a-days, and it has the capabilities of creating some fantastic images. It'll take a little while to get used to playing with all of the features and settings, as AUTO mode sucks, but once you get it, the camera produces gorgeous photos. Very slow photo taking, and speckling at high ISOs though.
Don't buy.......2007-12-05
I would suggest against buying this camera yes the price is great and it does work great but I had this camera for less than a year and the camera screen went black so I can't see what I am taking a picture of anymore. The camera also doesn't have a viewfinder so I can't take pictures that way either. This has been a problem for other users as well. Besides that if you want to take a chance of that not happening it takes very good pictures and it has an excellent shutter speed.

I bought this camera a year ago the day before we left to visit Disney World. I have four professional digital SLR cameras and did not want to risk scratching a lens or having to carry a heavy camera around my neck. I bought this camera and all I can say is WOW! It's very simple to use, my children (7 and 5) both know how to take great shots with it. It does well in low light situations. I never expected to get such great quality with a point and shoot camera, but it takes wonderful photographs. I enlarged several shots to an 8x10 and it gave superb quality. If you are an amateur needing a camera just for snapshots, this is it! The video is great too. I have really enjoyed this little camera!!!

Don't take my word for it. Read the professional reviews for this camera and you'll see just how good it is. It's basically the same camera as the F30, without a lot of the manual controls. The low-light performance of the sensor in this camera is very good. It's a fast camera, too. Great autofocus accuracy and virtually no shutter lag. You can get it for a great price, too. Especially reconditioned.

All-around excellent premium-quality case.......2007-12-21
What a great case! It is exactly what I hoped it would be. Made of beautiful, soft-to-the-touch leather instead of that black plastic crap that everything is made of nowadays. It is sized perfectly for our F20, it is snug with no sloshing around inside the case, and no excessive force needed to insert the camera in the case.
Unlike some reviewers, I prefer the belt loop over any kind of clip contraption. My experience with cell phones has taught me to loathe clip-ons. With a belt loop (which is also leather and lies flat against the back of the case) I know the case will remain with me in all circumstances, ie, it won't flop around or get pushed off when I sit down. Also the case does not interfere with my car's seat belt.
The magnetic closure works perfectly. In my experience, it is more than strong enough to hold the camera securely. An unexpected bonus is that the flap always closes completely, just let it fall naturally, you do not have to manually "find" the right spot.
fuji case for f31fd.......2007-07-26
The case itself was fine. I didn't mind the magnetic buckle to keep it closed. I did not like the belt carry. This is not the fault of the case itself. It held the camera fine, but belt carry is uncomfortable while driving, and seems vulnerable while walking. I bought a different case with a shoulder strap and the Fuji case sits on the shelf, waiting for me to change my mind, which isn't going to happen anytime soon.
Loop not clip.......2007-07-09
This is an excellent high quality case. There are two minor problems with it however, It has a loop and not a clip, so you have to undo your belt to put it on or take it off, which can be a hastle at airport security. Also, it has a magnetic lid snap which is weak and doesn't always find its home.

The case is well made and looks good. It has a belt loop rather than a clip so you have to remove your belt to get it on or off. Magnetic snap is convenient, but not super secure.

Good quality leather case. Excellent fit for the Fuji Finepix F30 and room to store your extra memory card holder as well. Fits easily into a shirt pocket or purse. I just love it!

I purchased this external flash in hopes to assist my flash with my camera. The product is not user friendly. The flash may work well for others that have some training in photography, but I could not get the flash to work properly with my hot shoe. You can not use your camera on auto function with this flash.

Cameta Digital Slave Flash: It's a bad product, to day it's out of service for several problem caused in the electric system, the batery caused fire.

When the flash arrived, the plastic housing over the bulb was cracked. I called the company and was given the option of mailing the flash back at my own expense for a replacement...but I should mention that the 'call back' process to the company in itself was a challenge...not user friendly and the customer service rep on the other end was short on customer service. Basically I felt that it was "my" problem to solve, not theirs. They could also not guarantee a return date for the replacement flash, which I purchased for my step daughter's wedding scheduled in one months time.
The "slave" portion worked great in testing at home and in some preliminary use ... come the weekend of the wedding, and it stopped working all together for no reason (we replaced batteries, checked and rechecked the mechanisms). But the "30 day return" policy has expired so I'm the proud owner of a slave flash that doesn't work.
Can't recommend either the product or the company.

It is fully synchronized with fill-in flash and red-eye reduction flash and can be used with virtually all of the digital cameras on the market. It works as a slave. It can be set for a single flash camera or a pre-flash camera, or, it can detect which setting is best. Off-camera flash" refers to setups where the flash is not directly attached to the camera's hot-shoe.
