I gave my daughter the iPod nano. What Apple doesn't tell you is you have to have the newest operating system on your Apple Computer. That means you have to have Mac OS X v10.4.8. You can't use it if you have Panther OS X 10.3.9. So you have to spend an additional $129 for a new operating system! Making the total for an iPod $129 more! We have Windows Vista computers too, and have ITunes installed on them. Apple does not have the correct Vista software to be compatible. I had to go to Microsoft and download an old XP file in order for the IPod to work on our PC Vista computer. This took a long time, and my daughter was not happy most of Christmas until I could figure it out. When you spend that kind of money, is it too much to expect it to work. I, like most people, I am sure, are not computer savy, and what I had to do to get this to work is ridiculous.

It is a great device, well up to the hype. I only wish it would accept more video formats than m4v, like the universally accepted MPG. I really like it and enjoy it every day. As comfortable as it is functional
The Wii Remote is equally comfortable in right and left hands and houses just the right number of buttons for gaming- not so many that new players will get confused, but enough so that Wii games don't feel constrained. On the face of the remote are the D (or "plus") pad, a large "A" button which is used for major on-screen actions, and two small options buttons. Between the game buttons are a plus and minus buttons (which often act as "forwards" and "back"), as well as a "Home" button to engage the Wii home screen to change settings or check remote battery levels. On the back side of the controller is a trigger-like "B" button, perfect for timing releases of a bowling roll in Wii Sports.
Thankfully, battery life is excellent with the two included AA batteries, just as with the previous generation of Nintendo wireless controllers.
Immersive intelligence
Along the bottom of the Wii Remote, four blue LED lights indicate which player position the remote is currently set to. The controller automatically connects to the Wii console via Bluetooth wireless technology. Below the LEDs, an expansion port lets you connect a number of devices including the Nunchuck and Classic controllers for Virtual Console gaming (Virtual Console games and controller accessories sold separately). Other features of the Wii Remote include adjustable rumble force-feedback and a reinforced wrist strap to ensure safe use. A speaker inside the remote gives the player feedback about the strength of swings or the accuracy of their moves- such as realistic tennis noises as the "racket" connects with the ball in Wii Sports. If you've never seen the Nintendo Wii Controller/Remote you may be confused. It looks exactly like a remote you probably have for your TV or DVD player.The Wii remote features advanced technology including tilt recognition and the ability for the game to see where you point it. It has 12 buttons although many arn't commonly used. It fits very nicely in your hands and it can also be rotated to be used like the Classic Nintendo controller we've all used in the past. It takes 2 AA batteries which last around 30 hours. Overall I really think the Nintendo Wii Remote is a great controller. Although it may seem odd, it fits great in your hands and works very well. It also has a strap so it does not fall out of your hand. There is honestly nothing I can say bad about the Wii Remote because it works great!

Obviously a remote is essential. I recomment getting it used, I managed to find a two-pack for $30. Otherwise buy Wii-Play for $10 more with the wii-mote and you have some funny mini-games to play with. The cow racing on Wii-Play is hilarious.

Dust Spots.......2007-12-27
Overall, this seemed like a great little camera but I ended up returning it. I took 100+ pictures when I first got it and at least 3/4 of shots using a flash (50-60 pictures) had numerous spots from dust in the air being illuminated by the flash. These spots ranged in size from small to very large. Regardless of how good everything else was, I couldn't see keeping it when numerous pictures were trashed because of this. Supposedly, this isn't that uncommon of a problem with digital cameras, although I've never seen it with my previous digital.

This is the best pocket camera I have owned. It has logical and clear menus for manual settings as well as fine images on default. And it is faster than similar cameras I have tried. I liked it so well I bought two additional cameras as gifts for special people.

I bought this one is because of it's low price & good quality. I got a D70s from Nikon with me, but the compact cameras from Nikon suck. No IS, no nothing.
So if you have a DSLR, don't compare the image quality with this Canon compact one. I can say that the image quality is acceptable while shooting outdoor with 28MM wild angle :)

This camera rocks. This camera does just as well as the sd900. The only difference if the higher megapixel on the sd900. The sd800 has a tougher shell. I recommend this camera.

This is the best purchase I've made in years! The Garmin nüvi was ready to go right out of the box. I was dreading having to read the book and figure out how to use it, but much to our surprise we didn't have to read directions. I am totally impressed with how easy this is to program. When we decided to take a different road to our destination the Garmin adjusted itself to our route, this is one amazing machine. It's going to make our business trips around town so much easier and safer. The voice on the Garmin is loud and clear and the screen is so easy to see and the touch screen programing couldn't be easier.
Excellent GPS System.......2007-12-28
This Garmin works really well. The best part of the GPS system is the stored points of interest. You can use a regular map to help you get where you are going, but when you want to find a place to eat or a specific store, the GPS system can find that for you, where a map cannot.
The user interface is great and easy to use. The re-calculation of the route when you miss a turn works well. I highly recommend the Garmin and the user interface.

I bought this item as a Christmas gift for my wife. She charged it the day after Christmas and we put in a test road trip to check its accuracy. Fantastic. The speech directions are quite easy to understand and if you miss a turn, it corrects it instantly and accurately. The only drawback that I can see so far is that the instruction manuals could be a bit more detailed. I would definitely recommend this product for anyone looking for first-time GPS purchase.

This product is world-class. We used it Christmas weekend and it is something we should have had 30 years ago. No need to even read directions, just plug in and go!!! It is easy to use, very high definition, and with the verbal instructions, even someone with no clue or sense of direction can find their way anywhere! The wide-screen is superb and the bean-bag attachment holds perfectly to dash instead of attaching to windshield. (This was purchased separately). Buy this product. Your wife will keep you around for another ten years!!

I have the Garmin Nuvi 200w. Of all the brands I looked at it is the easiest to use and very sturdy. Straight out of the box it is ready to go to work. Just tell it which time zone you are in and it is ready. I highly reccommend it. It is by far the best buy for the money. It beats the TomTom by a long shot and has plenty of points of interest programmed into it. The Garmins are upgradeable by just plugging it into your computer and downloading the latest updates from Garmin's website. The Garmin Nuvi series are exceptional. Go for it.

I received my canon a560 on time had it only about a month takes great pic a little bigger than most point and shoot digital camera. But I am able to handle very well not as big as i thought. Would give it 5 stars if it had picture stabilizer.

I only owned canon cameras, SD400 when it 1st came out. I Just purchased an SD1000 for myself (love it) My daughter and son-inlaw needed a new camera . I purchased the powershot A560 as a gift for them. They LOVE everything about it! lots of features, easy to work & great picture quality. For me, it feels a little light. I also think if your used to using an SD model this camera will feel way to large in your hand.

I have had a Canon and a Son before. I absolutely love this Canon camera. The screen to view is large which I love. I also like the different modes to take pictures, I like to change the style to see the different outcomes of pics. If you have a Canon or have had one before and you like it, you will definately like this camera.

Have had this camera for a few weeks and I am real impressed with it. Nice pictures, lots of menu options. I also like the large LCD screen and face-finder option. Can't be happier. Much better than my old Kodak I had to get rid of because the battery dept broke. Plus, you can't beat the price of this camera for what it can do.

Buying the nuvi660 was the best purchase we made recently. It is very easy to operate, and helps us drive with confidence. the screen size is good.
Since we are moving to a new area which we are not familiar with, having the GPS is essential. We chose this one because of the size of the screen and for the POV (we purposly didn't get GPS built in the car because we didn't like their POV. we wanted to see where we are in relation to the road, not an ovehead view), and the fact that it tells you the name of the street to turn to (not just turn left now, but turn left to Main street).
It mounts easily on the window, and we have used the MP3 player as well.

The traffic update feature is especially valuable if you live in area with lot's of traffic. The option of using internal speaker or through your FM radio is very nice.
