Poor quality construction, unsuitable for intended purpose.......2007-12-08
I bought this product based on the excellent reviews it had gotten here on Amazon, but I admit that I am sorely disappointed. I bought this knowing that there was no handle as depicted on the case, so I will not count this against the product in the review.
My main complaint is with the CD sleeves. Both the cloth and the plastic parts do not meet expectations. The cloth is extremely thin and light, and feels like I could poke my finger through it if I tried. It is almost translucent when held up to a light. Secondly, the clear plastic part of the sleeves feel low quality, like they would tear or stretch after extended use.
If this is being used for its intended purpose of carrying CDs on the go, the hard shell exterior provides adequate protection. However, since the sleeves are of such low quality, my CDs fall out if the case gets shaken a bit. And, just to reiterate, there is no handle as shown in the product image.

Great for the college student in the family.......2007-10-03
As a college student with over 50 CDs in my collection, the Case Logic CD Wallet saves me plenty of valuable space. The cover is durable enough to protect your CDs from dirt, water and the occasional fall, yet is soft enough that it will not slip out of your grip. Not to mention that this is a great value at only $13 (at time of review). The only downside is that it does not have a carrying strap, but it still is easy to carry and like I said earlier, it won't slip out of your hand. So definitely buy this case if you need convenient storage for your CD collection.

A sturdy case. It does what it's supposed to do, which is to securely hold 72 DVD's or CD's. There appears to have been a slight design change as the handle that's shown in the picture is no longer there. None the less, I'm happy with it and have ordered another one.

I have a couple nylon softer-sided cases. Because the sides are stiffer and bubbled out a little bit on this one, I think this one will provide a little more protection when banging around behind the seat of the car. The item I received doesn't have a handle like the one in the picture; I'm fine with that, but it's worth noting.

My husband is in a rehab hospital. He watches DVD's almost 24 hours a day. He can reach the case in his bedside table and easily get another DVD when he wants to watch a different DVD. The case fits in the drawer such that even with limited mobility he can lift it out and unzip the case.

Wow - I like this one!.......2007-12-17
Just got this capability a couple days ago. It is great. My car stereo refuses to eject CDs with the paper labels (took about 20 minutes and a pair of tweesers to get it out - and ruined the disc in the process). Now I can make a disc with a label and no need for paper or ink! Burns the design/info right onto the disc. Be patient - it takes about 20 minutes to burn the designs into the disc.

The downside: The product description says that these are the same size as the cases you get when you buy a movie at the store. I just got these in and it is far from the truth. The color of blue is a shade off, the corners are pointed and not rounded like the original cases and the blu ray icon on the top center is not embossed into the case but is just stamped on.
The plus: I needed cases that did not have that annoying sticky stuff from the security stickers on it because some movies were sticking together and it was driving me nuts. So I am happy that some of my movies are in clean cases - but I am not pleased because they do not match the other blu rays that I own.

I won't buy anything else for storing my DVDs. This product is both sturdy and convenient.
Does a good CD Binder exists?.......2005-04-24
I have noticed that CD binders(detachable pages) is never as good as a CD wallet(non-detachable pages). The problem with CD binders is that the metal binder is NEVER tight, so some pages will fall out eventually. When the CD Binder is full of 192 CDs/DVDs, the weight is heavy enough to bend the metal out place and makes it extremely loose.
The other problem is turning the pages. With a FULL CD wallet, you can move easily between different pages but with a FULL CD Binder, it is packed so tightly that it is hard to flip the pages and IMPOSSIBLE to move from the 1st page to the last page instantly or vice versa.
Also this CD Binder has a capacity of 192 CDs/DVDs, so you can't add more pages to it. I was under the impression I could add more pages.
The only reason to buy a CD Binder is that it is organizeable. I'm still trying to find a sturdy CD Binder/Wallet that is organizeable, with detachable pages. If you know one, please inform me.
Quality Product.......2005-04-13
This is an excellent binder for storing CDs. The case is soft yet durable, and comes in a low-key black and blue finish. The three ring binder system inside makes it easy to move sleeves around when you need to add CDs to your collection -- a big plus for those of us with lots of CDs. One word of warning: CD booklets do not fit well in these sleeves. They'll fit if they're thin, but even then you will be working to cram them into the sleeve. These sleeves were made to tightly hold compact discs, and they do so very well. If you're looking for somewhere to store CDs with their booklets, I would look elsewhere.
