We received this via UPS without any problems or scratches. Not even a fingerprint on the beautiful deep cherry colored surface. Seems like real wood as advertised. Nice deep drawers easily fit 18 CDs. Only thing to be aware of is that the top two and bottom two drawers come all the way out, whereas the rest have some sort of catch to prevent them from falling. All in all, I am very pleased.
