This allowed me to use my HD (1080i) TV as a pc monitor connecting to one of the HDMI ports on my TV to the pc with a dvi video card. Having a 52 inch monitor is pretty cool. The TV was not as forgiving of the video mode selected as 'normal' pc monitors, but when I finally chose a compatible mode on the PC everything worked like a breeze.

...but I really wish the audio connection cables were longer.
I don't have a TV; I have the Wii attached to my 24" computer monitor, and Logitech surround sound system. It's only by luck that the input "node" for the surround setup is right next to my monitor, and even then I had to go to Radio Shack and get RCA cable extensions, so the audio would reach.
Once plugged in, it works like a champ!

just wondering all you people who gave this cable a bad review and saying component cables don't do anything for the performance, have you tried going to the system settings and changing the screen resolution to 480p and screen ratio to 16:9 instead of 4:3? that might help. and the person who said that the wii comes with component cables... well it doesn't. it comes with av cables which are inferior in today's world. I myself have never used these cables but I know nyko makes quality 3rd party accessories for wii. but any component cables should enhance the picture quality.

I loved the case itself, but personally I do not like earbud style headphones. I have collapsable over the ear style in a case that wold not fit inside the Zune case. Also, I didn't think I would use the remote much. All in all this was a good purchase if you could use all the items, but for me, I did better buying a padded camera case for $20.

Anyone who has the zune will get its full potental with the travel pack. The headphones that come with the zune are very uncomfortable and don't stay in my ear. The premium headphones are perfect: their comfortable, loud, and with great quality sound. The remote helps you control the zune without taking the zune out in public that helps especially if you live in a bad part of town. The ac charger charges quicker than charging your zune through your computer. The gear bag is rugged and holds everything and more. Since I got the travel pack, I can't go anywhere without any of the accessories. I love it!!!

The travel pack includs a good set of accessories and a case big enough to fit them in, but there are a few problems:
1. a car charger/adaptor is curiously missing.
2. the headphone is nice, but there are better alternatives out there for cheap.
3. case really is too big to be of practical use, especially when travelling.
4. finally, The travel pack costs as much as a 30GB zune these days, and for what is included, I think i am better off with a second zune30.

I purchased 4 of these for the Four Swords Adventures Gamecube title. They have all worked fine; I have experienced no technical problems with them. Their only shortcoming is that they're difficult to disconnect from a GBA once they're attached, even for an adult. Maybe that was intentional so that players couldn't accidentally yank out the cord during play. It hasn't made me regret the purchase.
Warning to Pokemon enthusiasts: I haven't tried these with any Pokemon games, so I can neither confirm nor deny rumors of problems on that front.

My son loves this gadget. He can play all the games for the advance on the tv and so everyone can watch and play too. Even my hubby loves it. The guys just play and have fun with it. If your child likes to trade pokemon, this is the product for them. I would recommend it. It's not a flimsy product. Since I bought this one through amazon.com, I recieved it a couple days later.

Since the 1.1.1 release, iPhone now has video out - however, it does NOT work with this adapter. I think you have to buy the Apple component or composite cable.

The quality of the cable itself is fine however I bought this cable because it listed as working with the Nano. After receiving it and was unable to get the Video to work. I called apple and they stated that this cable will not work with the 3G Nano's that I have. I wish the product had a more specific list to what it will and will not work with. I was going out of town and didn't have time now to order online again so I stopped at a Apple store and bought there cable for $50 and it works fine. Now I'm back home past the 30 day return policy and have a useless cable here.

Good quality cable for hooking up a video ipod - I'm very pleased with it. Note that a converter cable is included so that you can hook up to standard RCA video inputs instead of S-video if you need to.

Not sure if it's nice or not. Having trouble outputting video from the Ipod Classic. Heard an array of issues stemming from accessories needing an apple compatible chip to the player software itself causing the issue. The cable looks nice - and I think Monster has nice products, just that they are over price for what they are. So this review probably isn't much help, but thought you ought to make sure what version you have a do a little reading before you purchase.

Plugged my Ipod video for the first time to my TV yesterday - works great! I have an old TV with a coax connected to my even older VCR. Used the Monster ITV Link to connect the Ipod (via the dock connector) to a Line-in on the VCR. Used the supplied S-Video to Composite Video adapter, adjusted the Video Settings on the Ipod to TV Out - we have picture and sound on the TV! Depending on the quality of the video, the picture can be a little grainy - but I think that has more to do with the quality of the video than the cable. The ITV Link also has a mini USB port on it, so you can charge the Ipod while watching - avoid the Ipod from dying on you in the middle of a movie. So I have the ITV Link hooked to the USB Power Adapter via a USB to mini B cable.
There may seem to be a lot of cables and adapters involved - but it really isn't hard to hook-up. Just add these to the already growing mass of wires and cables behind your home entertainment center.

These cables are a bit cheezy. They work fine but most electronics you buy throw in higher quality wiring than this. As with a lot of factory cables, they hotmelt the plastic over the RCA plugs. This is mostly good but quality control on mine must have blinked because I had a big air bubble exposing the center wire on one end of six. I just put a glob of silicone in the hole and used it anyway.

Here's what I really don't get....it's freakin' wire. Why would you buy monster cables and gold-plate-connector yourself into the poorhouse when you're really just buying metal wire wrapped in flexible plastic casing? At around five bucks, these seem like a darn fine deal, especially considering they also contain the rca audio jacks you'll need along with your three component video connectors to get both video & sound from a component source to a component destination.

As a college student, I'm always trying to have the latest tech gear. I have a new HDTV, an XBOX 360, and a surround sound system. The 360 is connected to the surround sound and HDTV, but the TV's sound needed a cable to connect it to the receiver. I looked at Best Buy and saw the "Monster" cables for around $60 and put the idea out of my mind. However, I came on here and found a couple cables. While I was in the checkout with another cable, I looked around a bit and found this one. It was only $2, so I took the plunge and bought it. It came in the mail and I set it up. It works just fine with the 5.1 Surround Sound system. Just plug it into the back of the TV and the digital coax plug in the receiver. It works great for me, and I'll bet it works just as well as the Monster one. If there's a cable cheaper than this, feel free to get it. If you feel like getting a more expensive one, get it. I can't stop you, but I would just go for the best deal. Either the cable works or it doesn't - there's no inbetween. This one works fine.

I needed a longer coaxial cable and after checking out the local Circuit City and Best Buy I decided I just wasn't willing to pay $30 for it. After looking at Amazon I found this product and decided to give it a try. I am always somewhat hesitant to purchase budget AV cords, but have no regrets about purchasing this one. I don't notice any difference in sound quality from the better cord I had been using previously. I'm told that with this type of signal there really is no reason to worry about cord quality, but I don't understand the technology behind it all. All I know is this cord works great, is of good quality, and is dirt cheap!

Expensive cables matter if you are connecting analog signals, but have absolutely no benefit on a digital signal.

I bought this modem as a back up in case my LinkSys cable modem ever dies. Recently I began having performance problems, and swapped in the DCM-202 (with the cable company's knowledge, and configured for the new MAC address).
Not only did it *not* solve my problem, but my throughput dropped even further. I wound up having a cable company technician come out, who discovered a problem with the cable drop from the street to my house, but after fixing that the throughput and dropped packets were still horrible.
We swapped the LinkSys modem back in, and voila! Now I'm getting nearly 6Mb/sec on the LinkSys. I was lucky if I got 800kb with the DCM-202.
Now I'm looking for a new backup modem that isn't a D-Link.

I just replaced my old cable modem, D-Link Surfboard SB3100 with the D-Link DCM-202 DOCSIS 2.0 cable modem. It's streamline, with a "small footprint" and very simple to install. I had surfed the internet and found that Amazon had the best price and free shipping. I received it in two working days, installed it and have been very satisfied with its performance. I go this product a while back for my Comcast cable box to my Pioneers Plasma. The Comcast Motorola box had dvi out put and component out. I try both and can't tell the quality difference. So its pretty good. The picture is clear and I have no complaints yet.

I connected my Samsung 42" DLP to my MacBook Pro using this cable.
The image quality was OK. My computer has a Radeon X1600 video board. I tried the different resolutions that my TV supports and I everything worked. However, when I connected the computer to my stereo, a nasty noise (white noise, like bad ground) would appear. If the video cable was disconnected the audio from the laptop would play just fine. Needless to say, I've returned the cable to get some other brand.
