For the ultimate in wireless freedom, look no further than the Plantronics Voyager 510 Bluetooth Headset, which represents a generational leap in Bluetooth headset technology. The 510 is comfortable and light enough for all day wear, and it offers unprecedented clarity and sound quality. These are great features, but the real revolution involves Plantronics' exclusive "Multipoint" technology, which allows the headset to function as a powerful communication solution for up to two Bluetooth devices.
With Multipoint technology you can switch between your voice-enabled Bluetooth mobile phone, PDA or laptop. The headset's "smart" technology knows which device you are using and allows you to take calls from any device at the touch of a button. With the optional Plantronics Bluetooth Deskphone Adapter you can even switch between your office phone and your Bluetooth mobile phone. You'll never need to use a dedicated "landline" phone headset again.
The 510 features a noise-canceling microphone for clearer conversations, and it folds for easy storage. The boom also swivels for perfect positioning on either ear. One-touch call control buttons are placed for easy access, and you can easily redial the last number dialed and initiate voice-activated calls from the headset. Because the 510 is Bluetooth-enabled (it supports the Bluetooth 1.2 specification) you can roam up to 33 feet from your Bluetooth device. Meanwhile, the 510 supports adaptive frequency hopping (AFH) which helps avoid interference from wi-fi networks. Ample talk time is provided by the built-in rechargeable battery; you'll get up to 6 hours talk time and up to 100 hours of standby time.

best bluetooth ever.......2007-12-28
I have used many bluetooths before but none was able to give the sound clarity that i was able to receive on this set. Even Jawbone that has good reputation for noise reduction couldnot match this one. It is a a very well designed set. Battery life is amaizing, I charge it once a day and can easily have talk time of 7 to 8 hours continuosly. I would recommend this set to anyone.
Plantronics Voyager 510 Bluetooth Headset with Multipoint Technology [Retail Packaged]
Product works!.......2007-12-27
This is my third Bluetooth ear piece and this one is the only one that really works. I can adjust the volume and actually hear it. The two Memorex versions I had were junk and cheap. I recommend this one if you are a person that buys an item for its quality not its price.
Better than Motorola..........2007-12-27
Bought this product for my father. He seems to like it pretty well. It's more comfortable than the Motorola bluetooths and doesn't produce the echo effect.
Reversibly comfortable on both ears, very bendy and flexible.
The Voyager 510 bluetooth headset.......2007-12-26
I'm very pleased with voyager 510 bluetooth headset that I recently purchased. The price was very good and I think the product is excellent. It is very comfortable on the ear, very light weight and easy to operate. However there is one little opportunity for improvement, which is the on/off button is a little hard to press.
Don't bother.......2007-12-26
Bought this for my wife to replace the Jabra that came with her phone, it slid on her ear to much and could not be adjusted to fit. Also it would offen get the names totally wrong when she spoke them. She switched to my Jabra and I tried it, It would not recognize any thing I said while in a car. I just got a LG unit for Christmas I'll see how this works.

Customer Reviews:
Love this!.......2007-12-24
I bought the Jabra BT620 Stereo headphones a few weeks ago and after a day of trying to get them to work with my PDA and laptop, I gave up and bought the Jabra music adaptor. (The PDA and laptop would have needed software upgrades to support Bluetooth stereo, and then the headphones would still only have been useful with Bluetooth-compatible devices.) With the music adaptor, you can plug it into the audio output (headphone) jack of any device that puts out audio (stereos, mp3 players, Tvs, computers, etc) and hear the audio via a wireless Bluetooth headset. What a great device! I use it for listening to the music on my computer while I'm in the kitchen, reading in bed while listening to audio from the PDA, watching TV without disturbing my husband, in the tub, etc.
The type in the instruction manual is small, so make sure to read the instructions carefully. When you use it for the first time, you have to put both it and your Bluetooth headphones into pairing mode (easy and in the instructions). After that, you just turn on the headphones first, then the music adaptor.
Works great but..........2007-12-18
This thing worked right out of the box (i'm using it as I write this review) but the only this I don't like is the subtle crackling in the background of the music. But that's my only beef with it. Other than that it's a great product!
Pairing Problem.......2007-12-18
This product did not work for me. It did not pair with my motorola blue tooth. now if it only works with a specific type of Blue tooth, that was not made clear to me at the time of purchase.
Bluethooth Transmitter - GREAT.......2007-12-11
This little bluetooth transmitter is the berries. It works with many products to send your music via Bluetooth. It just works and seems to have great battery life to boot. Drawback is there are no user replaceable batteries. But since it is new things are golden. Very please with this product.
head phone wire ordered broken not working fine. hope i could return it!!!.......2007-12-03
the over all idea about was this product is very good. if my was in good working order ti would have been very good.

Customer Reviews:
Works well and config was easy.......2007-12-07
I was looking for a BT adaptor for my laptop that would support a stereo BT headset, and do dialup networking over bluetooth with my mobile phone. I'd never used bluetooth on a PC before, but the setup was very simple. RF is very strong - I can listen to my headphones from way more than 30 feet without distortion. Overall I'm very pleased.
Not much help.......2007-11-12
I am updating my first assessment of your product. I would give it two stars rather than one because I can get it to do something but it is not doing what I want.
I installed the software and rebooted the computer then plugged in the Bluetooth. I wanted to download pictures from my cell phone to my laptop. The laptop can see the cellphone but I cannot drag and drop any pictures. It has a serial port connection but I cannot access the phone with it. The cellphone shows the laptop and can connect to it but I cannot transfer any pictures. I have to go through quite a bit to get it to connect. If anybody has any hints as to how to make this work I would appreciate it.
Great little bluetooth adapter!.......2007-09-24
This adapter works perfectly! Follow the directions in the manual and it's ready to go in minutes. It recognizes my phone 3 rooms away. I use it with a W810i and have no problems.
Works Great.......2007-09-23
I had the belkin bluetooth adapter which killed my wireless. I got this and there were no problems ez install......no lag
Bluetooth USB Adapter.......2007-08-14
Worked first time with plug-and-play capability plugged into a Kengington hub on a Apple MacBook. However, my Bluetooth mouse keeps dropping the connection and there is a delay in making the mouse connection when the computer display has been dark. That may be the mouse rather than the adaptor, though. Overall I can recommend this product.

OK Only for Limited Bandwidth.......2007-12-15
I bought this item for use with a Wacom Graphire tablet. However, it turns out it can't handle the data rate for pressure sensitivity. The tablet/pen combination works, but only like a non-pressure-sensitive mouse.
The product otherwise worked well right out of the box, but had I known its bandwidth limitation, I'd have never bought it. The feature listing that says it complies with Bluetooth 2.0 is incorrect--if you look under "See more technical details," next to "standards compliance" it lists only Bluetooth 1.2. Even though it was such an inexpensive item, this kind of thing just burns me up. You get what you pay for in this case.
Works fine.......2007-12-14
Works just fine...arrived in a week; installed software on Dell XPS M140 laptop. Activated bluetooth on Pantech CB3; plugged in little module on the usb port; click click; no problem.
Works Flawlessly.......2007-12-11
product just arrived!
Whats inside the package: Installation mini-cd, Bluetooth USB Adapter
Was very simple to install on my WinXP machine. Package indicates it supports WinVista will try that out later on my nephew's pc. Ran the program that was installed and turned my phone's bluetooth on "find me" mode. In the progam simply clicked "My Bluetooth" and 'Bluetooth Device Discovery', it found my phone within 5 seconds. Paired the program with my device and it asked my permission on my phone. Gave it permission and it asked me for a code, I input a code that I just made up and then the program asked for the same code. This code helps prevent others from interfacing with the program when I have it on. Once it accepted the code I merely clicked on "Bluetooth file transfer service", the program then opened an windows explorer type folder listing all the folders I have on my phone. I was then able copy and paste stuff (images, ringtones, music) directly into that folder and it was then on my phone.
It really couldnt have been simpler. I literally was able to get rintones from my computer to my phone using this product within 5 minutes from opening the package.
In closing, great product, great price, would recommend to anyone looking for a Bluetooth USB Adapter to transfer stuff from their pc to their phone. It also works with Bluetooth 2.0 devices so I can listen to music on my pc with my bluetooth headset with ease.
Good Enough.......2007-12-07
This is not the best Bluetooth out there, is a little difficult to use at the beginning, but ones you pass this is very good
Works great with the right drivers.......2007-12-06
The software included on the disk is completely a waste of time to install. Instead get Widdcomm bluetooth drivers. Do a google search get the 5+ version with a crack and follow the instructions to install.
The dongle will now work like any other dongle and it uses the winodws software for handling bluetooth. No need for crappy software that wont support your device or spending more than you half to for a quality product.

Customer Reviews:
Works like a charm........2007-12-27
I bought the item to plug into my iPod and my iPhone. I use it with the Motorola Shokr Bluetooth wireless headset. The items work great and the charge on the Jabra outlasts the charge on the headphones. I would recommend this product to anyone looking to cut the wires and enjoy listening to music wirelessly.
Not dissapointed.......2007-12-15
I purchased this because there was not a whole lot out at the time in this area. But since you have to have something to get your iPod bluetooth capable I went with this and was not dissapointed.
Cons:
Like everyone else has stated it doesn't lock into the iPod. I have never had a problem with it. I usually just put my iPod in my arm band upside down.
And it is bulky. But what can you expect when you have to plug it into the bottom. This is really on iPod for not making them bluetooth capable.
Pros:
Connects quickly and easily. And that is what it is for.
Works but Flimsy.......2007-12-11
It works just fine, if you are sitting your Ipod in 1 place and not moving it at all.
The adaptor does not hook in it just sits attached to the Ipod.
Making Ipod bluetooth compatiable.......2007-10-25
I wear the new Oticon EPOQ hearing aids with a streamer. before I purchased the Jabra, I had to physically connect a cable between the Oticon Streamer and the Ipod. Now the interface between my Ipod and hearing aids is completely wireless. For those that haven't investigated Oticon EPOQ hearing aids, I would urge you to. Instead of being hearing impaired, those of us that wear hearing aids become hearing empowered!
Jabra adapter and iPod??...forget it!!.......2007-09-27
Paired the Jabra adapter with my Motorola S9 bluetooth headphones...right away the music cuts in and out once I clip the iPod to my waistband (I guess this is considered 'out of range'...). As I start jogging, within the first minute the adapter falls out of the iPod and on to the ground. The reception and the mounting of this adapter is horrible. This product is a joke!

What is Bluetooth?
Print anytime, anywhere Bluetooth wireless technology allows Bluetooth-enabled devices to communicate over radio waves in the 2.4 GHz spectrum over short distances, up to 32 feet (10 meters) via tiny, short-range wireless radio modules. Unlike infrared, Bluetooth wireless technology does not require a direct line of sight between the sending and receiving devices. Bluetooth wireless technology provides opportunities to use mobile data in a variety of new and different ways.
For example, you can use the Bluetooth wireless solution to do the following:
- Print any document from a compatible notebook computer.
- Print calendars, business cards, addresses, or to-do lists from a handheld computer or PDA. (You can print office documents using third-party software programs.)
- Print photos, notes, or e-mail messages from select Bluetooth-enabled mobile phones.
The ability to transmit fast, secure signals through walls, briefcases, and other solid objects makes Bluetooth wireless technology a perfect application for mobile professionals in busy environments, worldwide. The HP bt450 Bluetooth Wireless Printer and PC Adapter is compatible with the following HP Printers:
- HP Photosmart 325 compact photo printer
- HP Photosmart 335 compact photo printer
- HP Photosmart 385 compact photo printer

Works with MacBook Pro.......2007-12-14
I just set this little guy up to work from my MacBook Pro and it was super easy. Just plug in and then go to Airport and choose 'set up wireless device' and follow the instructions. No download of MORE HP software is needed. I use it with an HP Officejet 6310.
HP BT450 Bleutooth Adapter.......2007-12-06
I have been unable to get this product to function between a new fully-loaded SONY VAIO laptop with VISTA and an HP 7410 All-in-One Printer.
The installation instructions were useless/non-existent.
HP Support via the phone was useless (they only wanted me to buy a new printer) and the HP web site could not help.
Range could be better.......2007-12-06
Seems that they're a bit off on their estimate of how far this reaches. I've set up my MAC about 10 feet from it, and the bluetooth receiver doesn't pick up. Meanwhile, my bluetooth keyboard can be picked up across the apartment.
Nice to have the wireless option though.
HP BT450.......2007-11-15
I contacted HP prior to my purchase and confirmed this Bluetooth adapter was compatible with my HP 8450 printer since my documentation called for a BT300 which I had been unsuccessful in locating. This adapter works great with my laptop and my cell phone. It was a breeze to install. No problems setting up. The range is fair as you have to be in the same room. It does not work through the walls. I am happy with the purchase and would recommend the Bluetooth adapter.
nitabw.......2007-10-12
This was the best purchase ever. The HP BT450 Bluetooth Wireless Printer and PC Adapter has made printing from my laptop and cell phone possible from anywhere in my house: so convenient, I can print pictures directly from my phone; GREAT!

Installs and works perfectly.......2007-12-09
I have had mine for 2 months now, never a problem.
It just works!
Do not hesitate to invest in this option, it is worth it.
A must for the Canon iP90v.......2007-10-11
Bought the printer at Best Buy and they didn't have this adapter. They also tried to convince my any other bluetooth adapter would work. Fortunately I didn't listen to them. Ignorant sales people. This adapter is expensive, so is the printer, but it works perfectly. It also slips into a discrete connector near the front of the unit. It does not stick out of a side or other area. Seemlessly integrated. It also works from over 300 feet away from my Mac Pro workstation. Print times are fast as well. The only interference has been when my dehumidifier has been between the two. No clue why. Expensive but worth it.
NIFTY WIRELESS PRINTING.......2007-10-02
This blueTooth adapter is much smaller than the picture leads you to believe (perhaps half an ounce) and fits INSIDE the Canon ip90 printer...when used with the Li ion battery, it provides true on-the-road wireless printing. One of my niftiest gadgets, and love showing it off to others. Can bring the printer with the laptop to clients to print out documents, also prints excellent photos on plain paper, and is FAST with the BT. A little expensive at $70, but well worth it for those who bring the Canon printer on the road for business. Highly recommeded.
It works fine.......2007-09-11
This device works as expected. I think Canon should have included bluetooth with the iP90v printer that I bought, but hey, they've got to make money too.
Just like other reviewers have stated, there is no documentation on how to insert it into the printer. I had to do research on Canon's site to find out how. But basically it goes inside a slot inside the front, left side of the printer (if the printer is facing you). You might need to open the top cover of the printer to ensure it's properly inserted.
Good luck!
Cannon Bluetooth Adapt........2007-07-06
I am very satisfied with this adapter. Works great. A little slow at a distance, but that is understandable.

The Best Bluetooth.......2007-10-18
If you are looking for a computer desktop bluetooth this is the perfect match.
It works great no problems when installing and has fast conection (USB port 2.0)
Just got it, but works great with windows Vista .......2007-06-17
Just download drivers from their site, and you're done!! Does what it said. Also great for A2DP (stereo bluetooth headphones). I'll check my the review later to add more info.
Good Product.........2007-05-07
Overall this is a very good product. I was looking for dongle which supports MS Bluetooth stack and this is the perfect one.
Works like a charm.......2007-03-23
This bluetooth dongle works like a charm. The included software package makes it easy to configure the system to do just about anything you could think of with bluetooth, from answering your phone through the computer (don't know why you'd want to though...) to easily moving files back and forth from device to device (what you're probably buying it for).
It's a bluetooth 2.0 device, so there is a nice strong signal to connect to (of course, the other device should be 2.0 as well to take advantage of the extended range), and it fits well next to other USB devices on my computer (unlike some other dongles I have bought in the past that nearly take up two ports worth of width).
Overall, I would recommend this to anyone looking to add Bluetooth to their home or mobile pc.
Good product, driver installation may be tricky.......2006-10-16
I purchased this product to pair with a Bluetooth headset/headphone to listen to music and be able to talk on Skype while away from my computer. The device is performing fine, however the setup has been a bit problematic. When you plug in this device (or any other Bluetooth device for that matter) to a pc with Windows XP (Service Pack 2), it will be recognized and set up to work with Microsoft's Bluetooth driver. However Microsoft's current driver does not support audio communication with headsets, so if you use a Bluetooth headset you will need to install the adaptor's own driver. The driver software cd comes with the product but it may be worthwhile to check MSI's website for more recent versions of it. My experience with this driver has been less than perfect; I had to uninstall/reinstall several times for the device to function with MSI's driver properly. Also you may need to manually disable Microsoft's driver after this installation if it is not disabled automatically during the installation of MSI's driver.
Overall I am happy with my purchase and I think this is a quality product.
I also want to add some information that can be deemed useful by future buyers of this Bluetooth adaptor:
Two characteristics you may want to consider when purchasing a Bluetooth adaptor are its data transmission speed and its range.
The data transmission speed of a Bluetooth adaptor (a.k.a. dongle) depends on the adaptor's protocol version. The products that sell today are either Version 1.1, 1.2 or 2.0, with the last two being more dominant. Version 1.2 operates at speeds up to 0.7 Mb per second and Version 2.0 operates at speeds up to 2.1 Mbps (3x Version 1.2 speed).
Bluetooth adaptors also have a 'Class' rating which determines their range. Oldest (and now obsolete) class is 'Class 3' which had a range of 1 meter (~3.3ft). Today you can find products that are either 'Class 2' or 'Class 1'. Class 2 Bluetooth devices transmit up to a range of 10 meters (~33ft), while Class 1 devices transmit up to 100 meters (~330ft). Classes are not version specific; older Version 1.2 adaptors are Class 2, more recent 1.2 and 2.0 Versions are Class 1.
An important thing to keep in mind when buying a Bluetooth adaptor is that neither the connection speed nor the range of your network will fully be determined by your adaptor. After all, it's a network and the receiving device also has a thing to say (bottleneck issue). A Class 1 , Version 2.0 dongle, for example, will not perform up to its maximum range (330 ft) or maximum data transfer rate (2.1Mbps) if it is paired with a receiver device (headset, printer etc..), that is Class 2 and that is Version 1.2. The speed and range of such a network will be closer to the inferior values in each category, in this case closer to those of Version 1.2 and Class 2. However such a network should still work fine because the version and class protocols are backward compatible; units with newer protocols will work with units with older protocols.
To sum up, buying the adaptor with the best features will not necessarily make your Bluetooth network faster or further reaching unless it is paired with a receiver device that is equally advanced. Today, for example, almost all Bluetooth headsets you can find in the market are Class 2 (for practical power saving purposes, since these devices need regular charging) and hence will not work at distances much more than 33ft even if they are paired with Class 1 adaptors.
