Great practical use.......2007-12-21
This is a good quality VGA cable with a great feature -- the included mini cable. We threaded it through the wall from our source to our HDTV, and the two-in-one setup made installation easy. It also makes the connection on each side simpler and neater. We just plug the mini connection into the headphone jack on the computer and into the mini connection on the TV, and it worked like a charm. Great setup.

This is the perfect cable for hooking a computer up to an LCD TV. I wanted to have my computer in the corner out of the way and needed a long cable to run. it includes an audio jack so you don't have to buy and run separate cables for audio and video.

Still waiting. I am sure the product will work fine, but GOOD GOD, what is the United States postal service doing with my package. They must have borrowed it for awhile. I could have gotten it faster with a camel. Thank god for FedEx and UPS !! I do not know why Amazon uses USPS to send items?

Mysterious cable compared to the old short cable.......2007-11-12
My old cable always got me 1080P resolution on my LCD TV, but it was short. I need a 15 feet cable, but settled on this 25' cable. When I first hooked this up using a DVI to DB15 converter on my PC adapter and the DB15 port on the PC, I only got 1600x1200 on the TV, secondary monitor. When I forced it to 1920x1080, I would get an "invalid format" message on the TV. I am not sure what I did, but I took cable off put it back on a few times, boot the PC a few times and download the latest ATI graphic driver and Catalyst Control Center from ATI website, now I am able to get 1080P resolution without much hassle. If I tweak too much by doing swapping displays and changing resolution too often, I occasionally got an invalid format again, but by disenabling it and enabling the secondary monitor (TV) using ATI Catalyst Control Center, I always was able to bring it back. It definitely is a little more fickly than the old short cable, but once I got used to it, it is no big problem.

Excellent product at a pretty low value when compared to those obnoxious vales chaged by Monster cable. The reason why I gave 1 star less is because of the audio jack length. its really small ..in laptops/pc's where the vga input and the headphone input are wide-apart ...u will struggle

12-ft. RCA Stereo Audio Cables.......2007-10-01
Originally, I was looking to purchase a 25ft. RCA cable extension to go from my semi-good (read: old) Teac receiver at the front of my apartments living room to my laptop, on the opposite end, in order to play and review various Club/Dance music that I occasionally critique for About.com. The cable is fine if you're only using non-high-end components. Otherwise I would suggest procuring a higher-end set of RCA cable jacks. Of course connecting the small audio jack cable at the end of the 12ft extension is wussy b/c if your computer/laptop doesn't have a good soundcard, you'll definitely hear (or lack thereof) the difference than if you had some kind of external USB soundcard. At 12ft, the length is pretty good as is the price but knowing that I would run into some interference when I tried connecting another (12ft) extension producing a hissing sound through my speakers, didn't necessarily deter or irk me too much.

I needed a headphone extension so that i could move around my cubicle at work while plugged in to my computer without having my headphones ripped out of my ear continuously. This extension cord does the trick. It does what I bought it to do, so it gets 5 out of 5 stars.

Excellent delivery, excellent quality, excellent performance. This little cord does it all. I almost got a short cord and I'm glad I got this 12 ft because it will reach everything and do everything from microphone extension to headphone extension to LP recording extension. good quality cable with extra adaptor, however, it's shorter than it claimed to be. Now I have to buy another entension cable to make the connection. don't know how this could impact on the sound quality eventually.

The product description says (still on 2007 January 29) that the length of the cable is 12 feet. On the delivered package the length is described as 10 feet. I haven't measured the length but have no reason to believe that the manufacturer (Philips) is wrong. I needed all 12 feet.
