This card works well. It seems to be based on the Marvell Yukon 88E8xxx chipset, so it's rather compatible and has a fair number of drivers out there.
Nothing special about it, other than the chipset.

I bought several of these cards to install in computers at my office. Most of the installs went without a hitch but two of the computers have been having on and off problems with the card. Sometimes the computer will boot up and say that it has found new hardware in the form of an Ethernet controller, no matter what drivers I throw at it, it says that none of them are the right drivers for the device. Upon rebooting the computer though everything works fine again. All machines are running Windows XP Pro with similar hardware so I'm not sure why only two computers are having problems. The drivers are not Windows Certified so that might have something to do with it. All in all a pretty good card and works great most of the time. Again, I've only had a problem on two out of ten machines so it isn't a major problem. Just thought I would mention this stuff, hopefully Belkin writes a better driver soon.

Works with Macintosh.......2007-04-19
This observation would not be worth making, except that the box in which this network card was delivered does not indicate compatibility with Macintosh. Because Windows, Linux, and Novell drivers (but not Macintosh drivers) were included in the box, I had a momentary concern that the product was not Mac-compatible, as represented on this web page.
When I installed the card on a Mac G4, however, it worked fine. The G4 picked up a network connection through the card without apparent need for any driver, etc.

very easy to run with linux (2.6 kernels used it with no problem).
But windows xp was somewhat more difficult -- the drivers on the floppy didn't seem to work, I had to download a driver from the zonet site...
