Verbatim DVD-RW discs are manufactured with a patented phase change Super Eutectic Recording Layer (SERL) which minimizes optical noise during erase/rewrite cycles, and provides superior archival life. DVD-RW discs can be rewritten over 1,000 times. A number of DVD-ROM drives and DVD Video players support DVD-RW.
