lots of work - poor result.......2007-02-16
Product received intact and in a reasonable time. Assembly involved 325 pieces!!(including shelf supports) Took several hours to assemble and does not fit together well. Instructions were unclear and incomplete. Looks like it should cost a lot less than it does. Called customer service unable to speak to a person left a message which has not been returned in 24 hours and counting. Because of the poor fit the door does not lock which was one of the reasons for buying it. Strongly recommend buying something other than this.

Almost Perfect.......2007-08-18
This is a great storage cabinet for all of our cds, dvds, and vhs tapes. It is attractive and holds everything we wanted. And for looks and storage it is a perfect 5. However, it comes in pieces and must be assembled. Now, I enjoy assembling furniture, but this took me two nights and I did screw up once or twice. The instructions are not the best, and can be frustrating if you are tired and don't keep your head. I suggest putting it together on a weekend, when you have the 4+ hours it may take you to put it together.

I needed to store some dvds and cds and bought this piece to do the job. It arrives as a kit so plan to spend 3 or 4 hours assemble time. The instructions are very precise and well put together with drawings of the build. Upon completion all worked well. Sauder offers the same style in different wood patterns.
