wonderful sleeping fan.......2007-12-26
I bought this fan after my 10 year old fan finally died on me. I use it every single night for at least 8 hours and it works beautifully. The sound is perfect for someone who uses it to cover up outside noises while sleeping or for the white noise effect. I would highly recommend this product.
It's a fan........2007-12-24
No one else sells a fan in winter even though it is 80 degrees some places in november. It's a fan. It works. End of story.
Big and powerful!.......2007-11-12
It's a nice fan to have when the hot is here.
It's big enough, and moves nicely the air around. It takes off a lot of hot air.
Dissapointing & Broken.......2007-10-28
The quality of this product was very dissapointing compared to previous fans that we have owned for a similar price. The fan came bent from the packaging and the fan itself when turned on scraped the side of the metal frame. Although our expectations were not high for this fan, we were not happy with the final product.
Lasko sells these fans without even trying--and that's no small feat !!!.......2007-10-22
This three speed box fan by Lasko is exactly the way it is advertised here. It comes already assembled so setup is a breeze--just remove it from the box, set it up on a table and turn it on! The three speeds all operate relatively quietly and the fan gets the air circulating rather quickly.
The price is right for what you get: it works strong and hard to create good air flow. The box fan also cools the room down on days when you can't use an air conditioner or when you simply don't want to use one. Moreover, like other reviewers have noted, it blocks out sounds and it's even nice to have it on while I'm sleeping!
I recommend that the fan stand on a flat surface about three or four feet high so that the air current it creates reaches you whether you're lying down or walking around the room. It is economical in that it won't make your electric bill spike upward, too.
Overall, this is a great fan and I highly recommend it as one of the best fans out there in this size and price range. It will not disappoint you!

Horrible Customer Service!!!.......2007-12-24
The camera is fine as long as nothing goes wrong. Fuji has the worst customer service I have ever delt with. They pass you from one person to another and do everything they can not to help you. Be prepared to deal with the worst customer service in the business. I really hope this helps you.
Warranty or Not?.......2007-12-09
My daughter purchased this camera back in May - without a warranty. She really liked the camera but after a while a problem developed. No local camera shop would work on it so we ended up mailing it back to Fuji in hopes they would handle it. Yup, they can and will, for a mere $82.50. Hmmm...
best camera i ever buy .......2007-12-08
best camrea i ever buy it strong work real good but i had buy it for 129us at that time
Overall VERY pleased.......2007-12-08
don't know much about photography-husband does and said camera was perfect for me. I have found it is quite sturdy as it has gone on a few trips and many elementary field trips with the whole family (including two kids who like to take some of their own pictures). Pictures are pretty good quality - keep in mind, this is not a professional camera at not a professional camera price. It is perfect for everyday pictures and in most lighting. haven't figured out all of the features but really like the size of the LCD screen which takes up the whole back of the camera. I did find I had to get a case immediately to avoid scratches and fingerprints on the huge screen. the only thing I would change is maybe finding a camera that is a little thinner. Although this one is considered ultra-compact, I might have spent a little more for the same camera that would fit easier into pockets. overall a five star for the price!
Camera must be defective.......2007-12-03
I bought this camera six months ago for my son's birthday and it has been nothing but trouble. We are inexperienced and new to digital cameras so we didn't know this wasn't how cameras work. First, it freezes after a couple of seconds or blacks out and can't be used for a minute or more. We started to hold the power button down the whole time to keep it functioning and then quickly slip your finger over to take a photo. What a pain.
Now it completely froze with a open lens and reads
Focus error on the LCD> Too late to get a refund and can't figure out how to get a replacement through the online return center. Just kicks it back to me saying too late for 30 full refund.
I will never order electronic's online because now I am stuck with an obviously defective camera and out 150.00 with no recourse.
This sucks!

Bag of choice.......2007-07-14
I was attracted to this bag because it doesn't really look like a camera bag. I ordered it on faith without seeing it because so many people love their crumplers, and I was not disappointed.
I like that it's very sturdy and padded. The bag has a substantial velcro AND snap closure, which is great, and it has internal thin pockets (one with a zipper) for stashing extra things like your memory, filters, or lens caps. The strap is thick and comfortable, and for a bag that holds a camera and two lenses it's deceptively small.
I bought a blue one off the crumpler site, it doesn't seem like amazon has the other colors.
Great Bag.......2007-06-27
Excellent construction. Very secure. Perfect size; big enough for a camera body, 2 lenses, and a flash. Still has space for lots of other little filters and such. Discreet, no one knows its a camera bag. Better than the Canon bags that scream "expensive equipment inside!" Nicest bag I own.
Don't believe the savings.......2007-04-01
Only Amazon would list this as $90 retail. Every place else on the web -- including Crumpler's own web site -- lists this as $74 retail. Deals on this bag are few and far between, so you can pretty much buy it anywhere for the same price. Why reward Amazon for deceptive listings?
best camera bag I've owned.......2007-03-19
I've always wanted a messenger style camera bag. This bag is perfect for a Digital SLR and 2 lenses, or 1 lense + flash.
The quality is great and it has lots of storage.

Fun bag but a little small.......2007-11-15
I love this bag except I wish I had gotten one a little larger. I use it to carry a Nikon D40X and a speed flash, and while it is the perfect size for those two items, if I want to carry anything else in the bag such as my wallet or cell phone, it's too small.
Perfect for my Nikon D40.......2007-06-07
I wanted a camera bag that didn't look like, well a camera bag. I got the Crumpler because it looks like a messenger bag and didn't stick out to bad. I have a Nikon D40 and kit lens and this bag fits perfectly for it. There is one support pad which you can adjust, I have it supporting the camera grip and the lens seems fine in it. There is a little room left for a small notebook or external flash.
The strap on this doesn't have any soft padding for your neck, just that black strap material so when you sling it over your should it hits your neck. The main compartment doesn't close with a zipper but only with the main flap. The flap though has a velcro and snap/hook closure.
The main thing about this bag is the looks, nice modern. The material, seems abit nicer than the Lowepro or Tamrac bags. The bag itself is not a big box, it has softer walls meaning it isn't "rectangular" but more of a natural shape to it.
I like to take my camera everywhere I go and the Crumpler is designed to not be so obvious there's a camera in it. If you have more than the kit lens and flash, or have a larger DSLR (my Nikon D40 is pretty smalled compared to other DSLRs) I would look for a bigger bag. Cheers.
Crumpler 4 Million Dollar Home Photo Bag Review.......2006-11-10
Nice looking; strong; doubles as carryall for other items.
Customer Reviews:
Great Bag: Well Designed, Stylish, Functional.......2007-08-14
This is a great bag that is really soft and easy to carry; it slightly conforms to my body making it very comfortable. This is the best looking bag on the market, hands down. This bag doesn't have the shape or look of a camera bag and appears more like a daypack/messenger bag therefore I'm never concerned that my bag is saying to the public "Expensive Camera Gear - Right Here" (anyways all my stuff is insured - including this bag itself). It is classy enough for weddings with no compression straps or clips hanging all around it and strong enough to handle outdoor environments. If this one needed replacing, I would buy it again over another bag.
I'm able to fit into it: DSLR with grip, 70-200mm f2.8 IS, 50mm f1.4, 28-135mm IS, 20-35mm USM, 580ex - with all of the lens hoods, but it gets bulky at this point. There are two moderately sized accessory compartments and two easy access side pockets for non-bulky items. When full, my bag weighs 14.5 lbs.
No real problems but there are some design issues that could use improving upon. The accessory compartments are not divided so small things will move around and mix together. I've begun to use Ziplock bags and empty Altoid tins to separate things like my cable release, wireless remote, CF cards, and AA batteries. The stock shoulder pad is useless (the nylon shoulder strap itself is great) because it doesn't have enough padding to make it comfortable and there isn't enough grip to keep the bag on your shoulder. It's slipped off my shoulder a couple of times so I replaced it with a heavy duty luggage/camping style pad with more cushion and lots more rubber to stay on my shoulder.
What a bag!.......2007-01-10
I was desperately in need of a new bag when my kit expanded to include a heavy zoom. I received this bag as a gift and it has been a joy to use. You can put a lot of gear in here! The downside to this is you can really make the bag quite heavy - almost too heavy for a shoulder bag.
I love the look of a messenger bag as opposed to a camera bag look. It is a bit large for a standard messenger bag but I'm considerng getting another crumpler for days when I don't need everything in my kit.
I'd recommend this to anyone who has a good amount of gear and wants a bag that doesn't scream "camera bag"
Excellent walk-around bag for full size dSLR's.......2006-12-25
This is an excellent walk-around bag for full-size dSLR cameras with three lenses and flash, plus plenty of room for all additional items you would want to carry with you on a daily shoot in both a mesh pocket in the main bag and a separate exterior compartment with organizational mesh pockets. Note that this is a large, full-size messenger-bag type carryall -- it looks like a full size messenger bag rather than a camera bag, so it is particularly good for urban shooting. The interior compartments can be arranged however you most like to work.
Note that this bag is NOT appropriate for sand-blown or exposed environments -- it has a cover flap that is closed with both velcro and a snap -- but it remains open on the sides. While the bag is water resistant, it is not waterproof. You should certainly not take it with you on a jeep ride through the desert in Sedona, for example, for the fine sand will get all over the exterior and interior of this bag. Neither should you take it with you on a boat ride where you will be splashed with water. Mist protection is okay, though.
Crumpler designs their bags for day to day use, but they are not designed for wilderness shoots or anywhere you will be exposed to the elements.
That being said, this is absolutely my favorite camera bag -- I use it everywhere I work (events) where it is inconspicuous, offers a great quality of protection, and it is light enough so that I can carry all my lenses for the shoot and not feel "bogged down" by the bag itself. If you are more conservative in your tastes, get the black/grey or dark blue.light blue combination -- if you are more adventuresome and like some color in y our life, try the burnt orange or green/khaki bags.
Great Camera Bag.......2006-11-10
This bag is very well designed. I purchsed this to take on a trip so I could walk around while having access to my camera and lenses. This has quickly become my favorite bag. The bag holds my Canon 300mm L without a problem. That length lens cannot be stored in the bag on the camera body, but it nice to be able to have it in the bag. The bag is extremely comfortable and there are enough compartments to hold everything.
Customer Reviews:
This IS a quick-draw bag..........2007-10-10
I don't know about the previous reviewer, but I can draw my P&S superzoom out of this bag in 4 to 5 seconds with just the velcro closed. This is a pretty quick bag with a lot of padding and no rough spots to damage a camera's LCD screen. The part of the 3 Million Dollar home that comes into contact with this camera's LCD is one of the softest parts of the bag, and will not damage an LCD.
I look forward to getting more use out of mine.
Not a quick draw........2007-09-30
Gave mine it's first real use yesterday walking around Chicago taking pictures of the Bean in Millennium Park and pictures of the front of all the major theaters. The construction is everything you expect from a Crumpler: Sturdy, well sewn, no loose threads, heavy duty zipper and shoulder strap, etc. The big down side to this bag is that you can't just pull the camera out and take pictures whenever you want. You have to un-clip, un-velcro, flip open and hold it open with one hand while you un-velcro again ... when all is said and done you're trying to hold open three flaps while you try and pull your camera out. My father has an old (wonderful) military camera bag that I've used a time or two that you don't even need to fasten to feel like the camera is secure. This enables the user to lift a flap and pull out the camera in a couple of seconds as opposed to the half a minute (or more) it takes to get it out of this Crumpler. Half a minute might not sound like much, but when you suddenly see an unexpected candid shot you want to take, it can be gone in a quarter of that time.
The pocket for extras (lenscaps, etc) complicates the bag use as well. Everything slides around in it, often across the part that aught to be folding down so you can clip the bag shut.
