Amazon.com Product Description
Give your satellite speakers a sleek, contemporary foundation while also improving their audio performance with these Sanus adjustable speaker stands. Boasting a European-style profile and a durable powder-coated black finish, the stands suspend your home theater speakers at the ideal listening height--from 28 to 42 inches depending on the height of your chairs or couch--letting you sit back and enjoy the full splendor of your surround sound system. Each stand also features a cast-iron base engineered for solid support, along with your choice of premium adjustable floor spikes or custom screw-in rubber feet to provide stability and minimum resonance on any floor surface. Meanwhile, the steel top plate includes custom speaker isolation pads to further enhance the sound quality. A further bonus stems from the stands' concealed wire path, which hides your speaker cable from view to improve the room's overall aesthetics.
The stands fit most satellite speakers weighing 10 pounds or less. Some assembly is required, though it takes just a few minutes using a Phillips screwdriver. The stands are also backed by a five-year warranty.

SANUS EF-SATB adjustable speaker stands.......2007-11-25
Other reviewers described how these speaker stands worked well or not quite so well in various situations. These reviews helped me decide to try them - my surround speakers are flat bottomed about 6.5 inches wide and 8 inches long and weight 7.5 lbs. The largest top plate or speaker support plate included with the stands is 5 inches square. Sanus does include many different brackets, parts and screws with the stands. I wanted the speakers to just sit on top of a plate or "table". Off on a trip to Home Depo where I bought 2 pieces of 8 X 10 inch lexan (for 8 X 10 picture frames) for $3.00 each and a roll of double-sided tape for $5.00. I cut 4 inches off the 10 inch side with a small hand saw to make a 6 X 10 inch "table" and used four pieces of the double-sided tape to stick this to the 5 inch plate included with the stand - after first screwing the 5 inch plate to the speaker "pole" - it is not beyond me to afix the lexan to the 5 inch plate first - and then realize I can't screw the plate to the pole because I just covered the screw hole!!!LOL. I sanded smooth the sawed side and used four 1 inch felt feet on the speaker All this turned out ok. Also used 12 gauge speaker wire. This threaded through the bottom pole slot ok - tough getting it through the smaller top slot. Used straightened paper clips and needle-nosed pliers to make hooks on the paper clip ends - had to use two - to get the wire started through the pole top slot. Pushed wire through the bottom and wiggled it through the top slot to get about 10 inches - enough to connect to bannana connectors in speaker. It's been said that these stands won't do well with heavier speakers and I also don't think they would do well with any speaker over 10 lbs.. Good luck..
Nice stands for the money........2007-10-31
The price was right on these stands and they go very well with my black side and rear surrounds of my Onkyo SKS-HT540 speaker system. Sturdy, nice looking, and not too expensive.
(P.S. They match the Sanus EF24B stands very nicely that I used to mount my front speakers.)
Better than expected.......2007-09-08
I received my four Sanus System speaker stands and was pleasantly surprised by their quality, and by how easy they were to assemble. They fit and hold my Klipsch Quintet speakers perfectly -- with the brackets specially designed for this model of speakers. The stands also come with several plates that fit a variety of speaker types.
The stands are easy to adjust up and down, and are not top heavy with my speakers. While the black coating is very nice, it is loosely bonded to the metal. I dropped a screw on the floor plate and it nicked the paint to bare metal.
By the way, I found the instructions easy to understand and follow, so perhaps they have been updated.
Here's a tip during assembly, especially if you are using 14-ga lamp cord: insert the cord into the tubes before you screw the tube to the floor plate.
Final comment: great stands at a great price. Highly recommended.
Fits JBL SCS300SAT / SCSSAT300.......2007-08-16
I went through numerous "universal" stands, none of which fit the JBL satellites (SCS300)since they are oddly shaped speakers. The main mounting hole in the middle of the pole fits the odd pole mount that comes with the JBL speakers. Just screw the pole on the base and scre the speaker onto the pole. Piece of cake.
Nice looking stands and sturdy.
I have an old pair of Sanus stands that also had the appropriate hole so I'd assume any sanus stand should fit the JBLs but can't confirm.
Works great.......2007-07-30
I did a lot of research before I got these speaker stands. As it turns out, I have Infinity Modulus surround speakers and I wanted something easily compatible with them. These stands, though they don't mention it, contain something called a Modulus stud that screws into the ball on the bottom of the Modulus speakers. They work really well, though the bases are a little larger than I would have liked to have had. They will definately support a large speaker. The Modulus speakers are about 6 pounds and there was no problems with the weight.

Couldn't hang speakers.......2007-02-17
These stands arrived as promised, but unfortunately they weren't set up for us to be able to hang our speakers on them as expected. The hole provided was too small for our model. However, we were able to use the sticky tabs included and they have been strong enough to hold the speakers. They seem to be working just fine so far.
Speaker Stands by SANUS.......2007-02-17
I found the speaker stands to be of good quality and construction. The cast iron bases keep the stands secure. The verticle tubing is off set to keep the speakers on a verticle plain which helps balance. The tubing is adjustible for various heights. The base is black with the tubing a silver color which matches most of the products sold today. The speakers I have are silver with black screens. The stands come with several options of hardware which will accomodate the mounting of most all small to medium speakers. I am very well satisfied with the speaker stands and would recomend them to anyone that wants to mount their speakers.

They Work Perfect.......2007-01-31
Was first drawn to them based on price so I took a chance and ordered them. They came in a small box so I thought this must be a mistake or the wrong item but when I opened the box it was correct. After 10 minute assembly procees (very easy) I had my speakers (bose cubes)attached and the wires ran through them. Very sturdy and the height, although at the maximum, puts them just above my couch. Exactly what I was looking for in fit and function.
Great Speaker Stands.......2007-01-30
I bought two sets of these stands for use with my Boston Acoustics home theater setup and they have been fantastic. The fit and finish is well done, running wires through the stand was easy, and they look good with the rest of my equipment. Would get 5 stars but they feel a bit tippy with the heavier front speakers (this is mostly due to how they are fixed to the stands.) Overall a very good product that I highly recommend.
Great purchase!.......2007-01-12
I had bought a much more expensive gadget that was to support my PC speakers but it was a big, clumsy, ugly set of stainless steel clamps and tended to drop the speakers, damaging one. This Home Theatre Speaker Stand is actually a set of two which assemble very easily and have worked well. They blend in with my decor and are unobtrusive. They were very reasonably priced and arrived very quickly. I am very happy with my purchase.

Cheap.............2007-08-31
Cheap stands.... They work, but the thumb knobs have broken on the back, that tighten the stand. Have had to leave the stands at their lowest height. When I get around to it I'll figure some way around to rig it. They are also unstable... But what do you expect for a light-weight stand like this... They do come with a good selection of stand hardware to hook up any sort of speaker....

Sanus Speaker Stand (EFSat Euro).......2007-05-07
I can't say enough about the recent purchase of the Sanus EF Sat Euro speaker stands. These completes my home theater system, as I wanted a low profile set of speaker stands to support my Newton SC 300 multi-pole speakers. I did not want to go through the hassle of running wires through the wall etc. This product delivered....The item was selected, purchased, and delivered without incident.
Works great with Panasonic sattelite speakers........2007-04-12
I don't know why speaker stands have to be such a pricey component for a sound system, but, be that as it may; these are some pretty good stands.
Although pricey, they still cost less than half of what you'd pay retail in an electronics store. They are high quality and attractive looking, and since they were available in silver; they matched the color of my speakers.
Assembly was quick and easy, and there were various size/style brackets included to accommodate various speakers.
A tremendous value.......2007-03-27
These speaker stands offer good looks, solid construction, many mounting plate options to secure the speakers and a nice wire pathway that hides the speaker cable. Overall a tremendous amount of features for the dollars spent. If you have small or medium sized speakers these stands will look good and make the speakers sound better suspended in air.

excellent stand, lousy instructions!.......2007-11-01
Very sturdy and beautiful stands- several different ways to mount speakers, both bottom and back mounts. However, the assembly instructions leave a lot to be desired. Read the written instructions and look at the diagram in the back and you'll be able to figure out where most of the parts go. Going on just the written instructions will leave important parts out :)
Stands.......2007-04-11
Great product, matches my t.v. stand. But keep in mind that the glass bases do not hide the speaker wire very well but that is obvious and I purchased with knowing that.
Nice Stands for the money...........2006-10-17
These stands are quite sturdy for small and/or light book shelf speakers. The glass and metal look is great and the stalks are adjustable to be tall enough next to my 56" LCD RPTV.
One note is that the largest gauge speaker wire you can pass throught the stands is 16g. I had some 14g that I was using and it would not fit through the openings.
Look Closely at the Picture ..........2006-09-06
Firstly, this is NOT A QUALITY ISSUE - although it was somewhat disappointing to find tiny glass shavings on the glass bases, requiring additional time to first wipe all the components with damp paper towels prior to assembling them .. I understand some reviews of this stand are favorable - each to their own, but I chose to return this product for a refund.
In my opinion this stand has DESIGN/AESTHETIC and FUNCTIONAL problems, specifically concerning the GLASS BASE and the SPEAKER CONNECTION ADAPTERS.
GLASS BASE:
1) It doesn't lay flat on the floor, but is raised about 2" or 3" in the corner where the stand connects to the base .. NOTE - if you TAKE A CLOSE LOOK at the picture of the stand around the base plate area - which I failed to do before I bought them - you will notice the stand appears to go BELOW the glass base and the two opposite corners are also slightly raised .. This is not an illusion, the glass base doesn't touch the floor - While some may consider this a design "enhancement", I consider it a design flaw.
2) The base is pretty sizeable - too big when trying to position the speaker along side certain furniture.
3) The screws which connect to/through the base are all tightened by hand (as I recall), which I veiw as another drawback.
SEAKER CONNECTION ADAPTERS: They did not conveniently fit my speakers (standard Rear Surround's) - there was one kludgey combination, but it looked completely horrible.
oops, my bad.......2006-03-24
nice stands - they just don't fit my speakers ... but i think that's my bad...
