I purchased this cabinet and was completely satisfied. It is a beautiful piece of furniture and looks great with all types of decor. It holds all my media (CD's, DVD and VHS) and the top holds the photos of my grandchildren (which makes a nice addition to the piece). I would recommend this cabinet to anyone.

Nice shelves, but expensive.......2007-12-15
Shelves arrived very fast and were able to be assembled easily. They are as advertised. Be aware the shelf backing is not hardwood, but thick paper paneling. These are sturdy shelves, but will need to be anchored to the wall or floor to be safe, especially if you have kids because they are tall. I do not believe they are worth the cost. I paid upward of two hundred fifty each. One fifty would be more reasonable.
