They're really nice and fit in a 80Gb too.
But I have an itrip by dock and when I connect it I have to remove that (on the dock) part of the case and then I can't controle anything because is very difficult with the case out.

Good case, protects my new iPod, the only problem that I have with this is that there is no place to add the adapter at the bottom without undoing the bottom part of the case. If it had this I think that it would be perfect.

If you are buying this to dock something only to the bottom, it's a brilliant thing. I bought it to slide into a portable speaker set, and the case is just too fat on the sides to fit. Also, instead of making two different sizes for the 30GB and 60GB models, they have a bulky insert to stick in the case if you have the smaller 30GB size. It defeats the whole purpose of the sleek design. The faceplate is rigid and protective, and I really love their flip bottom concept--I just wish the sides of the case had been slim enough to fit my speakers.

The case is made of quality leather and I like the colors, the only complaint I would have is there is nothing on it to hook it to yourself like a clip of some kind.

Because the Shuffle is a small lightweight player, it tends to bump around a lot as you can take it anywhere and forget it's there. To protect it from scratches, these durable and glove-fitting jam jackets are perfect. I didn't give it 5 stars because you can buy the same quality product in greater quantity for less money elsewhere (I personally found 5 jackets for $5 plus $2 shipping).

I bought these skins because they're exactly what I'm looking for: not too bulky so that a Griffin iTrip can fit on the bottom, not too dust-attracting like other silicone/rubber skins, and perfect for providing protection to the click wheel. Maybe I'm anal retentive, but I like my things to keep that brand-new look, and I'm very satisfied with these skins.
I decided upon these after trying them out at the Apple store to get a feel for how thick they actually were, if they'd fit my 160GB iPod classic, and to see the quality that I'd be getting (at the store, they retail for about $24). Like their title, the skins are pretty slim and my iPod can still fit into a docking station (as long as it is without the plastic adapters). They slip on and off pretty easily and do not attract everything and everything (i.e. pocket lint, food crumbs, etc.) like some of the silicone or rubber cases do. Though the 160GB iPods are very slightly thicker than the 60GB, these skins still fit pretty well. The click wheel protection works pretty good too; the buttons are just as sensitive with the skin on.
The only thing I would recommend is getting a screen cover, which these skins do not include. Basically, if you're looking for a cover that provides adequate protection, won't make you feel like you're carrying a brick in your pocket, and can accommodate an iTrip without having to take the case on and off, this is it.

I love this holder - no scratches on my expensive equipment - but I do have to agree that it is inconvenient that I cannot use the ipod dock with the either cover on. The cover comes off easily, however, so it's not a deal-breaker for me. Also, it's easy to clean, and stays dust-free, unlike one without a hard cover. Overall, a nice product! Oh - the built in stand/belt clip in the back is awesome, especially when watching video.

I actually bought these ones with my 5G 60 gb ipod video, i chose them because they were the plainest ones and also the cheaper ones having in count that usually thats the prize of just one case. My white ipod got stolen (sic) with the reddish case... (its transparent red alot clearer than the photograph)and then my brother bought a 30gb ipod video and used the transparent dark one with a piece of bubbles plastic in the back, worked nice for him whos too cheap to buy his own case... and finally my mom got my a 5.5g 80gb ipod video :D and now im using the clear transparent one. My brother actually is very mean with tecnology and even so...the ipod is in perfect state and the case has minimum scratches...mine...is in perfect conditions plus 2 microscratches in the back (im more careful but i still use it in jacket pockets and the back of my backpack). It resist major fallings too (i hadnt tried so the biggest fall it had to suffer was from second to first floor 4mts app).
The cons: it tends to catch mini particles such as pieces of tobacco leaves and very little of dust particles, this may cause micro local scratches (ok im neurotic) this happens cause of the headphone and hold holes.
Another con is that has another hole for the down plugger that just stays unprotected and the round control thingy also stays unprotected but as i had left the original protective film that has a little piece to cover the inferior plug too wasnt a problem for me.
Just What I Wanted.......2007-02-08
So I thought it wouldn't work with my 80g ipod but what do you know it works great. I like the options of the colors as well. The clear and black. I don't use the red that much but hey whatever floats your boat. Works great in protecting it too. I have dropped my ipod I don't know how many times and one time I dropped it while in a haunted house. After being kicked around a couple of times I picked it back up and it was fine. (ps don't take the ipod in a haunted house bad idea almost lost it not to mention I had to get one of the scarers to get a flash light) Anyways. I recommend this product for anyone searching for something to keep the ipod from getting scratched. The case takes the damage and the ipod stays safe. : )
