Customer Reviews:
Great Deal .......2007-12-26
Don't waste your money on expensive HDMI cables as there is no functional difference. These work perfect and are a bargin.
Great Price.......2007-12-24
I bought these cables to hook up my new HDTV. They worked perfectly and I saw similar cables for $40 at Sears and $65 at Office Max. What a rip off.
Well worth the money.......2007-12-24
Cables To Go - 40315 - 2M (6.5ft) Velocity HDMI Digital Video Cable (Blue)
Very good for a reasonable price, so reasonable I picked up 2 of them. I could not see or hear any difference between this cable output and the one I unfortunately paid 3 times as much for in a big box store. Beautiful picture and sound on my lcd tv.
Save your money and buy this cable.
Not been able to use it!.......2007-12-24
I would probably be able to give this product a real review, if I had received the Receiver I ordered to go with it. It's been about a month since I placed the order.
Worked.......2007-12-24
Cable worked fine which is what I require from a cable. A local office store had a cable for $67. So in comparison this appears to be a good deal.

Customer Reviews:
Nice camera, Good price........2007-12-27
Have had this camera for a few weeks and I am real impressed with it. Nice pictures, lots of menu options. I also like the large LCD screen and face-finder option. Can't be happier. Much better than my old Kodak I had to get rid of because the battery dept broke. Plus, you can't beat the price of this camera for what it can do.
TERRIBLE PRODUCT.......2007-12-26
I got this camera for Christmas. The next day it wouldn't turn on and gave me the message- lens error restart camera. To have it fixed would cost more than the camera.
Good reliable little camera.......2007-12-26
I've only used the camera a few times, but as far as I can tell. The camera works great. I like how they made the battery holder into a nice little grip area for my right hand, so might be a little right handed bias. The batteries have lasted a decent amount of time and the pictures come out pretty well. If you need a basic camera vs fancy SLR, this is a good pick.
Canon PowerShot A560 7.1MP Digital Camera with 4x Optical Zoom.......2007-12-26
Love this camera. Its easy to use. Directions are simple. Has many features and picture quality is very good.
A Great Little camera.......2007-12-26
This camera was easy to use. The screen was good size for viewing recently taken pictures. I would recommend this camera.

Great Deal.......2007-12-27
Great product for price. Had some difficulty downloading to device initially, but discovered that under MY COMPUTER it was necessary to open by right clicking and selecting OPEN AS PORTABLE DEVICE. Have not fully figured out how to us picture feature yet. Software take some effort to understand. Not as quick and easy as IPOD, but for price it is acceptable. Radio works great. Great buy.
very pleased.......2007-12-26
I bought this MP3 player for my 11 yr old son for Christmas. It is very easy to use and my son already has the hang of it (1 day). The sound is fantastic on the hearphones included. We had one problem at first. I dont know what happened but it turned on and worked for a few minutes and then went off. I tryed everything, even trying to charge it thinking the batt died. Apparently, it needed to be reset by holding down the on/off button for 15 seconds. After that, it worked great. I almost sent it back! Also, we have downloaded music from our computer as well as the internet and it was very easy. I would have given this unit 5 stars but it is worth noting that it is harder to find a charging dock and speaker set for this unit then it is an Ipod. I found one but the choices are very limited. Ipod has a million choices. That is the only con so far we have found.
Not very user friendly.......2007-12-26
I wanted an MP3 player that was easy to use as I am lacking some of the sophicated skills required for some of the newer electronic gadgets. This Sandisk MP3 player did not want to help me connect and navigate my Vista system. I called the company and they were useless and the suggestions offered did not answer my questions. A subsequent e-mail only sent me to a discussion group that didn't even address my concern about compatability between the MP3 player and Vista. Nowhere in the instructions were there any references to Vista. I ended up sending the player to my grandson for Christmas and with his Windows XP he was able
to use it. I can't be the only user out there with a Vista system and this player. Hopefully the company will address this problem and be able to offer valid responses and or "fixes" to the questions of their customer's that recieved this product for Christmas.
Fantastic MP3 player.......2007-12-26
Bought this for myself a year or more ago, and I LOVE it. I liked it so much that I got one for my 17 year old son for Christmas this year. It does music, photos, videos, voice recordings and plays the radio. Quality is great. Easy to use. Sound and visuals are superb. One complaint is the goofy ear buds, but they all use those these days. My son uses his player with regular over the ear headphones, and they work great, too. I chose this model over the Ipod, and I'm glad I did. The versatility on this one and value for the price are great. This is compatible with all music software - we use winamp, but it also works with windows media player, etc. I wasn't crazy about Rhapsody - the software that came with the player - the quality of the downloads wasn't always there. We've had great luck with winamp, though. We are able to click and drag to load songs in seconds. We wanted the ability to load music from several sources and not be stuck with one software (itunes - used by the Ipod). We are totally happy with this player.
sandisk makes an ipod alternitive.......2007-12-26
I bought this sansa e260 so I could record local radio tranmission of convention and assembly programs. It does this very well. It has 4gb of storage so an entire 3day convention fits if your careful. I stopped it after each part so it would make a seperate file for each. A couple of things I noticed that are not as positive, one the controls are kinda tricky to use, two you have to be careful not to leave it turned on. I kept finding its battery dead. Since I realized I was leaving it on now the battery life is fine. This is a very good alt to an Ipod. (I have both)

Chic, simple. Canon looked to the very first ELPH for inspiration when designing the PowerShot SD1000 Digital ELPH, and came up with a quintessential iteration of the icon: slim, clean-lined and fully flat. Inside, the SD1000 Digital ELPH looks only to the future: 7.1 Megapixels, a 3x optical zoom and advanced DIGIC III ensure top-quality images, while focus is fast and sharp and red-eye is automatically corrected. Love this camera.......2007-12-27
Purchased this camera several months ago for my daughter. Read all the reviews and was quite sure I was making a good purchase. Ended up buying another one for my wife. Very impressive pictures. Nice features. Simple operation. PC Magazine has recommended this camera for quite some time now. Very happy with both of them.
really good digital.......2007-12-27
I purchased this camera for my daughter. I already have a Canon eos digital rebel. She needed something user friendly and that also took good pictures. After buying it and taking it home so I could tell her how to use it after I gave it to her, I kept it and bought her another one.
A great camera!.......2007-12-26
I bought this for my wife who wanted a small camera that she could carry in her purse. Full of features, compact and best of all, great pictures. For an everyday snapshot type camera, you can not go wrong with this one. We have been Kodak people for the past 5 years and I am sold on Canon now.
The price to value ratio is very high in my opinion. I think you get a lot of camera for you dollar!
digital camera.......2007-12-26
The Cannon SD1000 has been everything we expected and more. Have not had chance to use all features yet, but it took great Christmas photos of the grandkids. It is easy to use. Pictures come out excellent. Looking forward to many happy years of picture taking. Cannon has put together another excellent product.
Canon SD1000 Camera Silver.......2007-12-26
Have owned this for about four months now. I wanted to wait until I had put it to good use, before I reviewed it.
PROS:
Battery life. Simply amazing!
Battery size. Tiny. I keep a spare in the case and it is effectively invisble.
Great battery charger. Hard to improve.
Movie sound and (usually) quality. When you are able to find a good vantage point and lighting, the movies are just amazing. The sound could hardly be better considering the package and cost. Broadcast quality!! Outdoors eight out of ten movies are problem free. Indoors all have been problem free.
Overall picture taking. Very good to excellent.
Macro photos are excellent.
Redeye seems to be extremely rare. (see cons)
Screen is amazing. Best I have encountered. Sharp and bright inside or outside in the sun.
CONS:
On occasion you get odd colors and or banding in the movies. I have experinced this with a number of digital cameras. I expect it is an issue with lens size. Or the user...
Cannot optically zoom when taking photos. Digital zoom is silly.
Redeye reduction works after photos are taken not as they are taken. Also it does not always fix them. I would say the processor in the camera repairs 97% of redeye.

Good Sound Quality. They do not cut out like many head phones where you have to giggle the wire to get them working again. Great for the price!
Great Headphones and a Bargain at $20!.......2007-12-27
About me-- I work in radio and music and normally use high-end headphones because of it. For personal use, I have some of the $300 Bose phones.
So I know something about headphones... :)
Needed a cheap pair of earbuds for the gym and picked these up. Not as good as the high-end stuff, but still really good. These headphones do a good job of blocking out room noise, which allows me to keep the volume low. Great for listening to audio books and spoken word stuff as you'll be able to understand what the person is saying without cranking the volume level.
These come with three adapters, so you can size them to your ear. That makes them very comfortable. And they stay in place.
Quality is good. Again, these are still cheap headphones, so don't expect them to compare with Sony or Bose, but at $20, even if they break after a year, you'll still have gotten a bargain.
Worth a shot!
Love these ear buds in the gym.......2007-12-26
I received these as a present and I was surprised at how well they work. I had been previously using the default earphones that come with an iPod which are really uncomfortable. I go to the gym almost everyday so I was glad that these ear buds were comfortable and did a great job at noise reduction. I think they work well for the price.
Sound great but..........2007-12-26
Yes, they sound great. Also, they are very comfortable to wear for long periods of time. However, the construction is very cheap! I could cut through the wire insulation with my fingernail, and the wires are very thin. Be careful! I would have been willing to pay a little more for better construction. I would give it 3 and a half stars if the option were available.
Decent sound, Not durable.......2007-12-26
I bought these earbuds in July, it's now December and they have crapped out on me. I feel like my use of them was normal. I'd use them with my little Sandisk Sansa Express player, carrying it all around in my pocket.
What happened is the end by the plug has become flexed too much I guess. I have to twist and turn the wire in order to hear sound in the right ear now. They are basically worthless to me at this point. The plastic is just not very protective of the wires inside.
They were good until they broke. I liked the different sizes of ear canal attachments.

From the Manufacturer
As Internet connections have matured to faster and faster broadband pipelines, webcam manufacturers have been keeping pace with higher resolutions and improved optics to take advantage of the larger bandwidth. And more than just communicating over chat and VoIP, webcams are increasingly used to broadcast Truman Show-esque live video feeds of one's every move (such as at Justin.tv) as well as high-quality mini-movies uploaded to sharing sites. And that's where the Logitech QuickCam Pro 9000 really shines, with its 2-megapixel image sensor, smooth-tracking autofocus, high-end Carl Zeiss optics, and HD video capabilities (with the capability of recording video at 960 by 720 pixels).
The combination of Logitech's RightLight technology and 2-megapixel Carl Zeiss optics produce improved clarity and lighting (Pro 9000 on the left, MacBook integrated camera on right--both captured in the same lighting conditions). |
Add a variety of special effects from filters (above) to facial accessories (below). |
 |
First, a little about Logitech's touted technological and optical advantages. Designed by Carl Zeiss (known for high-end film and digital camera lenses), the Pro 9000's optics use a five-element lens arranged into four optical elements. As a result, the lens focuses the light onto the sensor with maximum detail and minimal aberrations. The 2-megapixel lens also offers an autofocus mechanism that automatically adjusts as your face moves about. It also incorporates Logitech's RightLight and RightSound technologies, which improves the webcam's image quality under difficult lighting conditions and provides noise cancellation, respectively.
We found the autofocus feature to be much smoother than another similarly specced webcam from Creative that we previously reviewed (which felt stuttery to our video chat partners), and the RightLight feature was able to render an image of our face in both highly backlit and low-light situations--something that other webcams we've tested have completely failed at. And the combination of RightLight, Carl Zeiss optics, and the two-megapixel sensor helped to enrich both the clarity and the color of our images.
While it's true that broadband Internet has gained speed, unfortunately none of the major chat or VoIP programs are can stream the high-definition video (960 by 720 pixels) that the Pro 9000 can capture. Thus, this feature is really only usable for recording video to your hard drive and either uploading to a video sharing service like YouTube or for inclusion into a movie project to be burned to disc. The Pro 9000 also enables you to take still images at larger than its native 2-megapixel sensor via software interpolation (up to an 8-megapixel resolution). Note, however, that shooting at a higher resolution causes a lengthier shutter lag.
The Pro 9000 offers easy plug-and-play operability on either a Windows PC or a Mac--just slide in the USB 2.0 plug, select the camera from your chosen video chatting program (it works seamlessly with Skype, Yahoo!, Windows Live, SightSpeed, and iChat), and you're good to go. While the Pro 9000 works brilliantly right out of the box, you'll only be able to take advantage of software add-ons such using the included QuickCam software (which is for Windows users only).
The QuickCam Control Panel is where you can select from a host of special effect add-ons that range from a selection of avatars (such as a dinosaur or cat) to facial accessories (including a crown and Borg hardware), and a variety of filter effects. The avatars didn't seem especially responsive unless we were overly hyperactive, but the limited face add-ons and filters were more successful (with our favorite being the rotoscope animation effect).
The double-hinged clip on the back of the lightweight Pro 9000 can be articulated to fit both the thinnest notebook screens to thicker LCD TV/monitors. A rubberized is placed right below the camera housing to help prevent slippage, and the camera itself can smoothly tilt up and down about 90 degrees. The Pro 9000 has a single microphone on its right side, and while the left side has a control button that automatically opens the Logitech QuickCam software. And in the middle is a Logitech logo, which is given a red glowing halo when the camera is recording. It uses a single USB connection that does not require external power.
With its arsenal of optical advancements combined with an invitingly affordable price tag and easy portability, the QuickCam Pro 9000 is a great alternative to the standard VGA/1.3-megapixel cams built into notebooks. --Agen G.N. Schmitz
Pros:
- 2-megapixel sensor helps to improve both clarity and color
- Automatic autofocus smoothly readjusts as you move around the screen
- Double-hinged clip easily fit on a variety of laptop and monitor surfaces
Cons:
- While capable of capturing HD-quality video, you can only utilize this for video saved to hard drive

Good quality and easy to use.......2007-12-26
I bought this webcam for my 80 something year-old grandparents so we could use video chat software online when I'm not at home. They love it! It was pretty easy to install and we had no problems setting up Skype to use the webcam. The mic quality is great and the picture is excellent quality, as well. Automatic light adjustments on the webcam make it easy for the viewer to see without having to worry about variable lighting conditions. Some stability issues on their flat panel monitor, but as long as you don't touch the camera too much, it's pretty secure. We won't be using any of the silly visual effects that are included in the software, but even the basic functions are simple to use. Great buy!
The QuickCam is a great buy........2007-12-24
After paying attention to the warnings of the otehr reviewers about NOT plugging the camera in prior to running the install CD, I have to say that my experience was very fast and painless.
The QuickCam is my first web cam, which I purchased for my wife and I to use in overseas communication with friends in the U.K., real-time, and to have for the fun of simply having one if we wanted to use it for something else. Apparently, it will take nearly DVD-quality video direct from the QuickCam, but we've not expiremented with this as of yet. Same thing with still photos.
The video sent across using just the basic webcam function is top-notch however, with lighting and color corrections right in the camera before it gets sent to your recipients. The camera angle is wider-angle than some cams I've seen used by friends and people on the net, and generally speaking, I haven't a single complaint against the thing.
Well, one thing only, which is sort of trivial. I don't have the web cam mounted on top of my monitor, but beside it, and the base is not exactly super-steady. It'll fall over easily if it gets bumped. Since that's the worst of my problems, I think it's a great purchase.
The Best Web Cam.......2007-12-24
The Pro 9000 is the best web cam I ever used. The Image quality is excellent. Works with Vista and was easy to install. I let the kids play with the Video effects and filters and they have a blast recording quick videos. The camera works on both Notebook and my large LCD monitor and the built in microphone has excellent sound quality. The image quality is first rate, the best I have seen in any webcam.
Easy to connect, easy to use........2007-12-24
Very pleased with the easy installation, even more pleased with the video quality. It's a little more expensive than most models, but the clarity is worth it. Software that comes with the webcam is actually usefull and easy to use.
Great quality.......2007-12-23
We had a cheaper poor quality webcam before..now since this purchased a great improvment. I would recomend

We love it! .......2007-12-27
Santa brought this for my daughter who is 5! We love it! It sounds really good and she can operate it while dancing! It was a little tricky to download songs on it--I tried to do it from itunes, but, I didn't realize that itunes had 'protected' files so it wouldn't let me just automatically download them to the shaker. I downloaded them to a disk and then uploaded them to the shaker...sure, it was an extra step, but once I figured it out, it was very easy. We love that it has a speaker--and, for the money, it holds plenty of songs and the sound is a good quality. No complaints!
Not compatible with music subscription services.......2007-12-27
Bought this because I already have Napster to go. Won't work with that or Rhapsody. SanDisk people say that it can only paly music ripped from CD. Very unsatisfied!
perfect.......2007-12-26
i recommend it for any one from 3 years to 100. it has a speaker,2 headphone jacks and you can put in more memory.
DO NOT BUY THIS is you plan on using Napster, Itunes, etc........2007-12-26
When you purchase an "MP3" player these days, you're actually expecting to be able to play not only MP3 files, but MP4 files, WMV files, and so forth. This device, however, only actually plays MP3 files, which is noted in very small print in the instruction manual. Music download sites like Napster & Real Rhapsody use WMV format. You can get MP4 through Itunes, but not MP3s. So that means you cannot download ANY music from the big music download sites onto a Shaker. MP3 is now an "old" format. Unless you're planning only on ripping songs from a CD to put on the Shaker, DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT! I got this for my son for Christmas & am very disappointed that I cannot download any of his favorite songs onto it. The product description needs to be much clearer about the severe limitations of the product.
Taking it back..........2007-12-26
I gave this Sansa Shaker to my 6.5 year old daughter for Christmas today. Tomorrow I am taking it back and getting her a different one. The idea behind this product is great. Perfect for young children around 6-10 years old, sounds pretty good, downloading songs was a breeze, it has an external speaker which is nice and the ability to have 2 headsets plugged into it at once is really great. The problem with it, (and I consider it a big one and the reason why it is going back), is the design. If you look at it in the photo's, you will see the bottom most white stripe. This stripe is used to forward and reverse through songs by way of twisting forward and back. The sliver of pink below that actually screws on and off to reveal the battery compartment and memory card slot. The pink sliver screws on and off with less then one quarter of a turn, therefore, when you are advancing through music you are unscrewing the cap. I have a feeling that SanDisk knew this was a problem because the cap is secured with string. So, my daughter walked around all day today with the cap dangling from the unit. I would highly recommend to those thinking of buying this to reconsider and research other MP3 players.
