Customer Reviews:
Cable WORKS with my Plasma HDTV .......2007-12-23
you can get 480p signal from your Wii using this cable. Build quality is acceptable and its a good buy. Shipping was quick and packing was good too.
Works as advertised..........2007-12-21
...but I really wish the audio connection cables were longer.
I don't have a TV; I have the Wii attached to my 24" computer monitor, and Logitech surround sound system. It's only by luck that the input "node" for the surround setup is right next to my monitor, and even then I had to go to Radio Shack and get RCA cable extensions, so the audio would reach.
Once plugged in, it works like a champ!
great cable for a steal price.......2007-12-10
I have tried $39 Best Buy cable and it does not come as close as this one. The product quality exceeds what I pay for. This Component Video is a must when I play my Wii game on a 300" projector. Great cable! Highly recommended.
uhmmm... .......2007-12-08
just wondering all you people who gave this cable a bad review and saying component cables don't do anything for the performance, have you tried going to the system settings and changing the screen resolution to 480p and screen ratio to 16:9 instead of 4:3? that might help. and the person who said that the wii comes with component cables... well it doesn't. it comes with av cables which are inferior in today's world. I myself have never used these cables but I know nyko makes quality 3rd party accessories for wii. but any component cables should enhance the picture quality.
It does work.......2007-11-17
I can see noticeable improvements in quality, but it is not great. I wish wii would put out 720p and included a DVD player! I bought it on Amazon, but don't do the same mistake as me! Head over to monoprice and you will get it for less.
Product Description
This high definition component-AV cable is compatible with both PS3 and PS2. On PS3 it offers resolution up to 1080i/720p.
Customer Reviews:
Worth it to get the Sony Brand cables.......2007-12-21
For those who don't know, HDMI and component cables offer much better image quality (clarity, contrast, sharpness) than standard cables (called composite) that are included with the PS3. There has been a trend to manufacture "cheaper" (less quality) component cables as of late, because most people with are opting for HDMI, those who have HD tvs (which i don't happen to have.) I tried a third party manufacturer's ps3 component cable and not only did i get some "static" in the picture quality, but the sony cable produced a much better image. This is because the Sony brand cable is a high quality product (OFC copper and gold connectors.) A component cable will make a huge difference in your movie and game play experience, and I would definitely suggest getting a good one, like this one from Sony, versus other "poorer" quality cables offered by other companies.
These Component Cables provide a high quality picture.......2007-11-30
These cables look and feel high quality and give a high quality picture. You will need to adjust your contrast/brightness settings once you use these cables to get the best picture.
For some reason when I hook up the Ps3 to my tv via HDMI I get terrible color banding.
So I was forced to buy these for a fix. I was expecting a big picture downgrade, but you dont lose much. HDMI however is better, crisper and sharper picture. I've seen some tvs hooked up with cheap component cables where the color looks washed out and theres picture problems. Thats not the case with these cables, you get the feeling that these component cables deliver the absolute best component picture possible.
Great Product.......2007-11-26
I use this for my PS2 on my HD monitor and it works great. Great picture, great price. Highly recommended!
Works perfectly.......2007-11-12
I guess a calbe should work or not work. Well this one works just fine and is has good quality cable and ends.
Same as PS2 one, but better quality.......2007-11-04
I didn't realize that the one I have on my PS2 would work on my PS3 when I ordered this.
I was so impressed by the quality that I kept it and am currently using it (as opposed to using the PS2 one that I already had).
Well made - does the job. BUT if you TV supports HDMI use the HDMI NOT this...

Customer Reviews:
Great value - the audio cuts out occasionally........2007-12-19
I'm a musician and I use the TuneTalk all the time to record song ideas. It has one annoying flaw...often it cuts out. A second or two are just gone. This is expecially annoying when a song suddenly jumps ahead a few words- there goes the tempo when you're trying to play along.
If anyone knows how to fix or avoid this let me know.
Works with a new "Classic" iPod.......2007-12-02
I don't think it mentions it - but it does work fine with a Classic 80gig iPod. Actually it works extremely well for recording college classes. No issues - easy to operate.
Very nice!.......2007-11-27
I bought this for my girlfriend to record interviews. She was using a micro-cassette recorder, and I figured she could use something a bit more modern and with better sound quality.
The sound quality is more than adequate for this purpose, and is definitely better than I expected for such a low-cost item.
The recordings are a much better quality than the special purpose voice-recorders that are available and it's nice to have the almost unlimited storage of your iPod, instead of having to worry about how much time you have left etc.
Overall, it's not great sounding compared to an expensive dedicated field-recording device, but I don't really expect it to, considering its price. If you're looking for something to capture interviews or lectures or generally get a clear and intelligible recording of something to listen to later, it's an unbelievable value. Highly recommended.
GREAT!!!.......2007-11-24
As a student at a top music conservatory, I use the 'TuneTalk Stereo' all the time!!! It's great for recording lessons, coachings, practice sessions, or actual recordings! The quality is very very good especially for the price and size! It fits perfectly into the bottom of my 80 gig iPod and is very easy to use! I definitely recommend this to anyone... especially music students!!!!
Garbage poorly made.......2007-11-21
Within 15 minutes of attaching the tune talk, while trying to adjust the gain the little plastic widget fell right out of the tune talk thingy. I can't comment on the use of the product since I promptly took it back for a refund. It is so shoddily made that while it might be a great product WHEN it works, I wouldn't spend $60 on something that fell apart in jsut 15 minutes. I am a 45 year old woman, not rough on electronics, so I can only imagine what a student would do to this thing.

belkin wireless G, some issues........2007-12-18
I have this installed and often I have to reboot the thing to get it to work. A tech frind of mine says I should have went with a LINKSYS. I just may do that.
Not Ready For Prime Time.......2007-12-18
This wifi gateway router technically 'works' but did not at all meet our ordinary domestic needs. We ultimately had to return it.

it was defective, and it has taken about a month to get the refund back. i am very dissapointed because i need the refund before christmas!!!
If you require Tech Support and only speak English - Do Not Buy.......2007-12-05
Earlier today I was attempting to install a Belkin Wireless Router at home. While doing the installation it came to the point where it would not connect to the internet. The set-up software instructed me to call technical support. When I called the number I got a nice lady who spoke very rough English. After many request for her to repeat herself, we finally got it to connect. However, it was moving extremely slow and the set up software did not give me an option to continue through on the set-up. My efforts to explain this to the lady were futile. She kept saying "but you are connected now, thank you." I finally gave up and played with it myself for about 15 minutes. After having no success, I called technical support again and this time got a nice man whom I also could not understand. After a few minutes of laboriously giving him all of my personal information again and then painstakingly going through the basics in my frustrating attempt to explain the problem, I finally gave up and went to the office to work. After that I tried to fax my question in writing to Belkin but the fax number on their website did not work.
I am not a racist and have many multi-cultural friends; however, if you only speak English with a normal midwestern accent you will most likely have problems communicating with the technical support team which I presume is located in India.
pure trash.......2007-12-02
I have fairly new system running XP and I have COMCAST internet service along with their ARIS cable modem. After a weekend of trying to get just the internet to run with this router I called Belkin for help. They walked me through a bunch of steps and the internet finally came on. It stayed on for all of 45 seconds and no amount of resets or re-installs would bring it back. A few more calls to tech support without success got me a replacement unit in the mail. It arrived in a few days. Super service I think. Several more days of set, reset, install, re-install netted me a grand total of three minutes of internet connect. I figured to hell with this. I set it up as a wireless adapter and it worked fine with the other end using a Linksys wireless USB adapter. By the way, the little Linksys unit installed, Zip-Pop, without a hitch. Then I changed the router and adapter between my two computers and I received the same results. Linksys installed on the first try but the Belkin was a real struggle to get running. Things ran good. Remember, no internet just a LAN. OK. Got tired and shut everything down for the night. The next day I fired everything up and would you like to take a WAG as to which unit refused to work? Don't think on it too long. The correct answer is the Belkin, Model F5D7230-4. I just ordered a Linksys unit from Amazon and I am going to give the Belkin to someone that I really hate. That is, if I can find some one like that. It's too damn small for a door stop. Belkins teck support was courteous enough and probably knowleable enough but the product sucks! Go and buy 100 feet of wire. No problems there.

Customer Reviews:
Didn't work for me!.......2007-12-26
Our older XP Home PC has been the family PC for several years. When I built our new Vista PC, I thought that I had found the perfect solution to automate the job of transferring our files and settings. But no...
I'm sure the cable works OK mechanically, but the Windows Easy Transfer Wizard was simply a dud. It never successfully completed a transfer of all of our files from one PC to the other, and I tried for several days using every combination of settings.
Again, I don't blame Belkin, but Microsoft's wizard tool simply wasn't up to the challenge. I ended up re-installing Vista from disk at one point because my daughter couldn't even logon under her id. At that point, I decided to call it quits.
I hooked up both PCs to our router and manually transferred the files over the network. Applications like MS Office, Quicken, etc, I reinstalled from disk. Slow and manual, but much more satisfying in the end.
Easy Transfer non-transfer.......2007-12-20
My rating for this product is not for the cable itself, but for the braindead Microsoft Easy Transfer application when using the ET Cable. On my XP system I had user data on the 'D' Partition. In Vista the 'D' partition is used for some Vista system recovery stuff. When you use the Easy Transfer application with the ET Cable it moves data from where ever you had it on the source system (XP in my case)to the corresponding location on the target (Vista) system. The 'D' partition size in Vista is 10 GB, about 7 GB of which is used, so after transferring approx 3 GB of data you get a filespace error.
When you use removable media (e.g., CD, thumb drive) you evidently get a choice of where to put the data on the target system but not when the ET Cable is used,
If you have data on the 'D' partition on your source system, save yourself the $30.00 for the cable and invest it in a 4GB or 8GB thumb drive.

The procedure is to:
* Install the included software on your XP PC
* Run Easy Transfer on XP PC
* Connect your XP PC to your new Vista PC with the cable
* Vista PC will automatically detect the connection and ask if you want to run Easy Transfer
* Select Run Easy Transfer on Vista PC
* On XP PC select: (a) files you want to transfer, and (b) where on Vista PC you want to save files
Belkin Easy Transfer Cable for Windows Vista .......2007-12-13
Extremely easy to use. Comes with its own CD. One needs to remember that two monitors are needed to accomplish file transfer, one for the old XP computer, the other for the new Vista computer. Transfer requires that each computer has a USB port available. Programs cannot be transferred using the software supplied. There is a beta version of a program transfer system available from Microsoft but I have not dared to try it yet.
Easy Mover.......2007-12-10
Used the Belkin Easy Mover to transfer files from Windows XP to new Vista computer. It worked easily and was sucessful. The Laplink system is way too complicated and not worth the effort.

Great Product.......2007-12-06
this is probably a good length to get. i tried it out on my ps3, and it worked flawlessly. a little bit of motion blur, but that was caused from the TV. has a nice thickness to the cord, will last a long time.

A quality cable but there are cheaper.......2007-11-30
I've always had good results with the Belkin name so when I decided to upgrade to HDMI I went with them. The prices are better then what you will find in a brick and mortar store but there are cheaper.
The cable is well made and high quality. I had no problem with picture quality or connection issues when setting everything up and like the feel of the cables.
I had a lot of components to hookup so next purchase I decided to try out a cheaper cable that had good reviews. I ended up getting a few of these, Cables To Go - 40315 - 2M (6.5ft) Velocity HDMI Digital Video Cable (Blue), and was not disappointed. They are flimsier than the Belkins but are still a good quality cable. If you'll never touch the cables again after hooking everything else up go with the Velocity but if you plan to mess with the cables on a regular basis the Belkin might be a better idea for you.
Does what is expected.......2007-08-06
I expected this to work out of the box and it did. No problems with my system.
Never received it..........2007-01-20
Two stars because I never received it. Sellers website said it was an in stock item. After two weeks of waiting I called and finally got to talk to a real person that said the item I ordered was not in stock. They did however refund my credit card. So now I am waiting for the same item from another company. I'm just glad it wasn't life saving equipment.

Customer Reviews:
Fantastic sound!.......2007-12-21
Shortly after I got my iPod a year ago I bought a cassette adapter so that I could play my iPod over my car stereo. The sound quality was laughable! After that experience I was put off by the negative reviews for all of the FM transmitters for the iPod and decided to simply use my ear buds in the car.
I finally got tired of that and decided to buy this Belkin FM transmitter. WOW! I wish I had bought this a year ago! Most of the time the sound quality is as good as listening to a CD. There is just a tiny bit of distortion every so often, and I don't know if it is because of the FM connection or if my speakers are starting to go.
Maybe this works so well for me because my antenna motor is broken and my antenna is usually down, so I get less interference from radio stations. But this has been the best iPod accessory I've bought so far!
Works well for me.......2007-11-08
For those who are curious or need the additional info, the TuneFm has a 5-pin mini USB port on it. So you can even use a Motorola phone charger (like the one issued for the RAZR) to charge the Ipod when connected to the TuneFm. I lost the original car charger that came with it, so I just got a Motorola one off Amazon for $8. Done.
The device works great for an FM Transmitter. As others have noted, it does have to be real close to the FM tuner (on the dash of your car or right on top of your stereo) but it does work quite well.
I was hoping for more.......2007-10-11
After reading several reviews of the TuneFM, I was excited about the prospect of listening to my iPod Nano in my car. But I've been pretty disappointed by the product's quality. Even when I can find a frequency that is interference-free, the quality of the sound is pretty bad. Not even FM-quality, in my opinion. Maybe I shouldn't have gotten my hopes up.
Sound quility, there is none.......2007-09-14
I was completely let down by this product. From what I read it was supposed to be a great tool to get your IPOD to play music over the radio in your car. After searching almost every station for better reception, none worked with crisp clear sound that would come from tuning into a radio station. Lots of static, thats about all I got. Waste of money! I will update my car stereo with a input jack instead of wasting more money on a similar solution.
Good all around FM Mod........2007-08-30
Good product. signal sometimes not great, but usually good. when using it's scan feature, easier to find a good station. works good in my wife's Santa Fe, not as well in my Explorer as I had hoped. I can use it in the house, and in the garage. also handy that it's a mini USB connection, as I can use other chargers to power/charge the unit.

Another Reason To Buy These Cables.......2007-07-17
Ran the cables that came with my system thru my wall and wanted to have freedom to move system without massive work for when my wife kicks me out of the family room. Now I just move my system and power cord and I am gaming where she is not...LOL!
Worked fine for abut a year.......2007-07-05
The cables worked fine for about a year. Now the cable seems to work sometimes but for the most part it just shows purple lines going across the screen. I have to switch from regular tv to hdtv a few times to make it work. The sound always comes thru just the video has problems.
Great cable, exactly what i needed.......2007-05-07
Has an AV left-right to phone jack converter. In addition to a vga dual ended cable, to connect to your CRT screen or VGA enables screens and or even video input graphic cards. Pretty cool
A mistake to buy this cable.......2007-03-16
I purchased this cable new to go with my new hdtv. It worked fine for six weeks until I could not get a picture. I mess with the cable and get an off color picture on the screen. I mess with the cable more and it worked for two days. Now it gets a wobbly picture on the screen which I cannot get rid of. I never moved the xbox but it just started happening for no reason. What a waste of money for over priced cables.
I would spring for the extra ten bucks and get the monster cables at least you have a far less chance of dealing with the mess I have. I have had great luck with monster in the past but was too cheap and decided to trust microsoft.
Note: I bought the microsoft vga cable at a local store and the picture was horrible and might as well have been the lowest end. If you have hdtv then steer clear of anything less than component cables (monster). It is amazing the difference in quality. Also it was stupid of microsoft not to include an hdmi connection for the 360.
buy this if you got the core 360 and own an HDTV.......2007-03-09
If you bought the core system, you get a basic cable. If you own an HDTV (720p/1080i/1080p) you'll need this component cable (or VGA if your TV has that option). If you use a DD5.1 audio receiver, you'll need the optical digital cable with connects to this cable (TOSlink).
Vs the Monster cable? This cable seems to work fine. I am able to find general 50' premium component cables on the internet for less than the price of the Monster cable. I didn't notice any significant difference in quality of Monster over the MS cable.

I bought to connect my TIVO to my home network. It works great. Installed and connected without any issues. Previously used a Linksys WUSB12 that quit working. For a wired network connection I would highly recommend.
Great Little Adapter.......2007-12-08
I bought two of these for my TIVOs. I've been using wireless connections for my TIVO for over a year. That worked great for updates but not so well for transferring programs between TIVOs or TIVO to Go. I wired the house and bought these to use with the TIVO USB ports. My transfers are quick and I don't get near as many pauses on TIVO transfers.
it worked like a charm.......2007-11-15
used this to hook up our old compaq desktop from 2000 a.d. running windows 98 to our home network. installed driver, plugged in cable and had a connection. it really was that simple. and my 8-year old is very happy...
Worked great to network my Series 2 Tivo.......2007-11-14
Bought this on other buyer's recommendations to connect my Tivo to my home network via the usb port on the Tivo (my Tivo was made before they were putting Ethernet jacks in them standard).
I wanted to go wired, rather than wireless because I wanted to ensure the fastest network connection, especially for downloading or streaming content from the internet.
All I did was plug it in and it worked.
Easy solution to messy problem.......2007-11-04
I have several Macintosh computers, all of which had their Ethernet connection damaged by an electrical surge from a lightning bolt which hit next door. On iMacs and iBooks, for all their many virtues, replacing the Ethernet jack and board is an expensive proposition. The Belkin F5D5050 adapter allowed me to bypass all that by using USB (which fortunately still worked fine). The Belkin CD did not contain a driver for Mac OSX, so I obtained a free Pegusus driver from Sustainable Softworks online. Bought one F5D5050 from Amazon to be sure it was a good solution to this issue and now I have ordered two more. I like the product and Amazon delivers fast, so I guess that says it all!

Good cables but there are cheaper.......2007-11-30
HDMI not suitable for Motorola DVR's.......2007-11-16
HDMI cables do not work well with Motorola DVR's. They are slow showing the picture when switched on and do not forward the Close Captioned (CC) signal to the TV. That's why the cable company (Time Warner) suggested the use of a component (3-prong) video cable combined with a two prong audio cable, a solution that--according to tests with other equipment--provides equally good quality as an HDMI cable.
Can't justify paying for Monster Cable!!! Try Belkin's.......2007-10-09
I have now purchased multiple cables from the Belkin PureAV line and I am very impressed with the quality of cable. These cables are much better than the below $10 ones in quality but are much cheaper then the ones from Monster and other "Premium" companies. All of the manufacturers make their components in China now, and are only Engineered and Designed in the US. If you are looking for quality AV accessories look at the PureAV stuff from Belkin, they are a great value.
Fast delivery and in perfect condition.......2007-06-11
Fast delivery and the product was delivered in perfect condition and worked as intended.
hdmi cable.......2007-03-09
this cable worked very well and eliminated all those patch cords and was about 75% less than Monter cable, when I buy a sound system I will purchase the same problem without a doubt
