The cable works as advertised. However you can purchase HDMI cables that perform 100% the same at about 1/20th of the cost. For the length of the cable, look to spend between $3-$5 and no more. Since HDMI is digital there is no degradation of picture/audio quality. It either works or it doesn't. Therefore the expensive monster cable has absolutely NO difference in video/audio quality.
Any HDMI cable from monoprice will work with the PS3.

Buying this cable is just like throwing money in the trash - cheap HDMI cables will do just as well as Monster. Monster needs to make products that actually have some justice to the price they charge. There is a small difference in analog cables and speaker wire performance, BUT THIS IS DIGITAL - THERE IS NO DIFFERENCE IN TRANSMISSION QUALITY with short distance connections! Cat 5 cabling with a HDMI plug at the end will do just as well!!! I have purchased Monster cables in the past, BUT NEVER AGAIN - this is treating consumers like they are complete idiots!!!

Although its regular price is over-priced, I happen to get it @ $45.00 less and with that sale price it is surely worth it!
Everyone I talk to and work with (Circuit City/Best Buy) say its the only way to get the most outta the Sony Playstation because it is designed and made with the next-gen console in mind. The picture is crisp and the sound is amazing in 5.1Surround Sound. Only get this is if: 1) You own a Sony Playstation 3 and 2) If you get it at a great sale price cause the regular price is too much.

I am a H def. freak. I am a pain when it comes to technology. I use the most expensive Mosters cables made as today. I have a Bluray player and HD player hooked up to the same 60" XBR2 Sony HD TV. If anybody can tell me that there is a difference in picture quality from the output of this cable and the Monster version, then you are not from Planet Earth.

Before purchasing this HDMI cable, I was viewing HD programming with component cables. I thought I was getting a great picture but when I purchased this cable and plugged it in, whoaaaaaaaaaaaa...the picture jumped out of the tv right at me!!! The audio, too, came alive! This cable is unbelievable -- a must-have for anyone with an HDtv. I love it!! Your rating scale allows customers to rate from only 1 to 5 stars, but if it were possible, I would rate this product 100 stars!!!

With my new LCD television, the hook-up was a snap and what a difference with the new HDMI compatible up-scale DVD I installed. The audio and visual difference for DVD and HD television programing is amazing with the cost at half the price at retail stores. Very happy and highly recommended.

I bought this cable so I could connect my PowerMac G5 to my 26" Sharp LC-26D40U HDTV. According to the manual for my TV, it claims that it doesn't support being connected to a PC, but I tried it, and it worked, though with some limitations. 720x480 and 1280x720 were the only resolutions which were not interlaced and not stretched, which, I'm sure, are the limitations of my particular TV. I tried other resolutions, but I did not like the interlacing. The funny thing is that the native resolution of my TV is 1366x768, but that resolution is not an option when I connect the TV to my computer.
I've tried viewing both web pages and videos on my HDTV using this cable. The web pages look good, but the text looks funny because of the anti-aliasing used to make the text look better on a regular LCD monitor. I've watched both low definition movies and 720p movie trailers and the quality was good. The 720p videos looked flawless, but I noticed some red patches when watching a particular low-def video. But, I'm guessing this had more to do with the particular video, the video player software and my TV than the DVI / HDMI cable.
As far as I can tell, the cable does what it is supposed to do and the quality is good.

I was a little sceptical of this cable due to it's low price... DVI to HDMI adapters usually aren't this cheap... However I needed a long cable and decided to give this a shot.
I'm pleased to say it works like a charm. I'm using this cable to connect my Home Theater PC (DVI output) to my LCD flatscreen TV (HDMI input) at a 1360x768 resolution. The cable is a good build and carries the signal well with no issues.
One thing that you should note is the DVI end is DVI-D single link. Not an issue for 99% of the users out there (single link provides more bandwidth than an HDTV can handle), but if you need the dual link cable look elsewhere.
