I purchased this cable to hook up my Mac Pro with A Samsung 1080P DLP. My fault for not doing my homework and realizing that "high integrity" is not high resolution. This cable will only do up to 1280 x 720. It will not do 1900 x 1200 resolutions. Bought an Atlona VGA/SVGA High Resolution Video Cable instead.
No visible degradation with a laptop.......2007-11-05
I connected my laptop to my ceiling projector using this cable, and it works flawlessly. I was worried that I would get some distortion since the cable is so long, but I don't see any difference in picture quality if I use this versus a short cable.
It's pretty much a very long standard VGA cable. I can't see any use for it if you have a normal-sized PC display, since you probably won't be sitting 25 feet away, but if you have a very large screen or a projector this cable is great.

This product worked well upon receiving it. I bought a generic no name brand about a year ago and I had problems with it from rolling it up when I stored it. Apparently, after rolling up the cord, a short developed. This cord seems a bit more durable. I don't anticipate any problems.

The cable works pretty well. The picture is for the most part noise free. And having 25 feet of cable means getting to be anywhere in the room I want while working off of the big screen. The only problem is that from time to time a burst of interference pops up and that can be a bit annoying when you are watching a movie or trying to read something. I'm not sure what is causing it, but I'm betting the cords not as well shielded from outside fields as it says it is.

matter of fact, there is nothing much to go wrong with any USB cable. There is no 'fidelity' of signals and such applicable here, unlike the audio-video cables. I bought this cable to connect my printer to my PC. All I had to do was connect one end to the PC and the other to the printer - no manuals to read or nothing. If you have a USB printer (any brand/make should work), just go for this. This is almost the same price most local stores sell 3-foot cables for. 10 ft is good enough for just about any computer desks (most people get away with just 3 or 6ft. Just measure your set up though before you order).

I am currently using this cable with my printer and have no complaints. Last time I bought a cable that was ridiculously overpriced at CompUSA for $30. It's was even the same model! A simple cable like this Belkin will run you about $37 or usually more at computer stores. It's crazy. They tried to sell me one, and you do need one to connect with your computer, but you don't need to pay this outrageous amount. I guess that's where their profit comes in. This Adapter worked perfectly for me. I used it on a Power Mac G5 Desktop, Dual 2 GHz G5, model #M9032LL/A with ATI Radeon 9600 ProGraphics. I had a Viewsonic VGA monitor already connected to the DVI port through a DVI to VGA adapter. I wanted to add a second display, a Viewsonic LCD display (VA2226w) I used the converter on the computers ADC port to connect a DVI -D dual link digital cable to the monitors DVI input and it worked, no problems.

Not much to say about an adaptor. It works, and the price is almost reasonable. If your Mac has a ADC jack, you need this to hook up almost any dvi monitor.

i did some resarch online and figured out this was the adapter i needed to hook up an older G4 tower (2001-ish) to a new 20 inch apple cinema display. I haven't used it much (thankfully since its only a back-up system incase my first generation macbook pro goes from just acting quarky to dead); but the few times i have use it, it works fine. If you are sure this is what you need, i'd recommend it, but make sure this is the right type of DVI since there are digital and analog versions.
