Peerless Adjustable Length Extension Columns allow the TV Mount or Projector Mount to be extended below the ceiling fixture. The tube-in-tube design is adjustable (prior to installation) at 1" (25.4 mm.) increments. A nut and bolt secures the column at the desired length. Now that it's all put together and hanign from my ceiling, it looks great, and it seems real sturdy.

Initially the box had come with a bag of the wrong parts....which took me a while to realize. I called the customer service number provided in the bos and they sent me out new parts, with no questions. It took about a week to get the parts, and a good half hour or so to put it together, but overall it's a nice accessory

Good value and relatively easy to install, although not quite as easy as claimed on the box (took me about 30 minutes to set up). The directions were about as clear as could be expected. Now that it is installed, the TV is stable and out of the way. If you want a ceiling mount, this is a good value choice.
