I use this piece as a great printer stand beside my metropolitan desk. I have a wide format printer and could never find a printer stand wide enough...this one is perfect and provides ample storage for printing supplies in sleek way. A great buy especially if you own other pieces from this collection.

This is a wonderful purchase for the price. It really looks even better in person than in the photo! I am a 25 year old female, and I found it quite easy to assemble. It only required a phillips-head screwdriver. I highly recommend this piece.
Great for long or short term use.......2005-04-28
I bought this item with the intention of upgrading to more sophisticated and sturdy tv stand-entertainment center later on. But when I put it together in my home and dress it up with all the accessories, it looked like something I could keep around for a while. It looked mature yet contemporary and it seemed to be sturdy enough to last a good 5 years at least. If you aren't big on the plastic, glass, gold laminated, chrome into the future look but don't want you granny's furniture either, this is a good buy.
Don't Bother!.......2005-04-27
Total rubbish. Wood was scratched on top, corner was smashed, water damage on the shelf, and door was cracked. It is really irritating to spend an hour putting this tv stand together only to find it is too thrashed to use. The holes were not even lined up properly with the dowels making it quite difficult to put together. Extremely shoddy craftsmanship and apparently no quality control. To add salt in the wound, the crumbly styrafoam packaging got all over the living room and I had to spend a good bit of time vacuuming and sweeping so the dog and the baby would not eat it. If you like taking chances and do still want to buy it, it's probably a 50-50 chance that it will be damaged.
