This is a solid stand that looks really good with this tv. It puts the tv at a perfect viewing level for our livingroom setup. It also has an anchor that screws into the tv making it pretty secure and sturdy.
I wish it had more shelves as I am quickly running out of space with only two. It also doesn't have any cabinet doors, so I'm sure the baby will be getting into everything when he starts crawling. Although it is a pretty decent stand, I can't see paying $400 for it. Mine came with my tv. I am sure you can find a better looking and more functional tv stand for under $400. Perhaps you could put in a call to the welder who reviewed this stand and have him make you one :-)

I'm a welder fabricator by trade, I was planning on building a stand for my 65" Mitsu and should have stuck with my original plan.
The Good:
Color is perfect
The bad:
Top shelf sags/bows with the weight of the TV on it.
The other two shelves are not wide enough to put three components across. In other word if you want to put three componads on one shelf you have to stack two of them.
Took over two weeks to get here from Amazon.
Sits directly on the floor, it's missing feet.
Did I mention that the top shelf bows.
Because of the bow on the front of the top shelf the screen is now slightly angled downwards.
I had to give it one star beacuse the was no zero or negitave.

Great stand! Comes pretty much assembled, except fot the shelf. I read in another review there were only two shelves. TRUE! But the shelves are 5' 6" wide and 8" high! I have my DVD, Bose Wave and digital cable receiver on top, Onkyo receiver (surroud sound), Onkyo center surround sound speaker and RCA VCR on the bottom. What else is there! I am in work on putting a black piece of cloth to cover the back of the unit to hide all the wires/plugs. This shelf does not "dip" with the Mitsubishi 73" DLP HTV that it was made for. Now if you put on the old style tube tv that weighs 800 pounds, it might, but this stand was made for a certain set of TV's..right?

Why on earth would you pay $381.00 dollars on shipping for something that weighs like 20 lbs? It says the original price is $449.00 so you save $384.00 but the shipping is $381.00 dollars, add that up with the "reduced price" total $65.00 and your total is $446.00 so your really only saving like 4 dollars. Watch out for scams on this site like that, they make you think your saving money but alot of them are ripping you off. Don't buy from this seller!

Very nice stand. Comes about 90% assembled. Took me about 5 minutes to get the shelf installed. Very sturdy.
