this is probably a good length to get. i tried it out on my ps3, and it worked flawlessly. a little bit of motion blur, but that was caused from the TV. has a nice thickness to the cord, will last a long time.

I've always had good results with the Belkin name so when I decided to upgrade to HDMI I went with them. The prices are better then what you will find in a brick and mortar store but there are cheaper.
The cable is well made and high quality. I had no problem with picture quality or connection issues when setting everything up and like the feel of the cables.
I had a lot of components to hookup so next purchase I decided to try out a cheaper cable that had good reviews. I ended up getting a few of these, Cables To Go - 40315 - 2M (6.5ft) Velocity HDMI Digital Video Cable (Blue), and was not disappointed. They are flimsier than the Belkins but are still a good quality cable. If you'll never touch the cables again after hooking everything else up go with the Velocity but if you plan to mess with the cables on a regular basis the Belkin might be a better idea for you.

Two stars because I never received it. Sellers website said it was an in stock item. After two weeks of waiting I called and finally got to talk to a real person that said the item I ordered was not in stock. They did however refund my credit card. So now I am waiting for the same item from another company. I'm just glad it wasn't life saving equipment.

I just bought an HD DVD player, but I have an "older" 1080i Sony television. I had done my homework, and knew before I bought the player that I would need a conversion cable. I was looking for a brand name cable, but did not want to pay "monster" prices. This cable fit the bill perfectly.

Our cable company does not have HD cable boxes with HDMI connectors, so they connect the box to HDTVs using component video cables. The picture is pretty good, but the box has a DVI out and the TV has an HDMI in, so I bought this cable and gave it a try. It noticeably improved the HD picture. This cable is a single-link DVI and the box connector is a double-link type, but it seems to make no difference. So if you have HDMI on your cable box, use it; if you have DVI-out, this cable might be the second-best choice. I am happy with the improvement. Even the non-HD channels look better.

Well, I thought I couldn't go wrong giving this cable a try since it is so inexpensive and I am still glad I did so, because now I know what I do now. And that is; Price really does matter. I received this cable and it is much worse due to artifacts then my component cables.
There are large white/black diamonds and blocks (several pixels) every few seconds that appear randomly all over my screen for split seconds. HDMI is digital so I figured it is either on or off. Correct, but there still can be interference, and the single may get messed up, and this creates artifacts.
Anyways, if you have any doubts it really doesn't hurt to try these cheap cables. But for people who don't want to waste the time, just go with expensive well made cables.

This is not a cheap cable, but it is a cheap price. I was amazed at the quality of this cable when I received it.
If you need HDMI, don't pay those outrageous prices for name brands, this works GREAT for a lot less.
With digital signals, you either get a picture, or you don't, paying tons more $$ at other cables, is nothing more than a waste of your money.
If you don't work that hard for your money and can throw it away, please throw it towards me instead, at least I won't bilk you out a lot more $$ for absolutely no increase in picture quality, I'll just honestly take it from you and give you one of these cables and you'll see no difference in picture quality, but you'll know exactly how i handled it, unlike those who will have you believe otherwise.

Bought two HDTV recently and needed to reduce the number of cables for the 5 cable Component connections to HDMI. At the local retailers, they were selling these cables that were way over priced and unless your planning to string 100 mile cables unnecessary. Paying over $150 for a cable was crazy and a total rip. The cables I ordered worked extremely well with my sets producing beautiful High Definition. One cable provides connections for video and audio. HDMI and Component connections are the only way to get HDTV.
