It is a great device, well up to the hype. I only wish it would accept more video formats than m4v, like the universally accepted MPG. I really like it and enjoy it every day. What I like most is its absolutely fluid integration with iTunes, which happens to be my music and video application. Great pod, Apple!

Bought this primarily for car use and it works really well in that capacity. The menus are a bit cubersome to go through but resorting the playlists on iTunes helped. Wish it was a bit more integrated into the car stereo, at this point the only setting I can control from the car is the volume, going up and down the playlist (forward/rewind) would be helpful too.

Please know that if you get the iPod nano and you have a Mac/Apple you have to have the newest operating system. That means you have to have Mac OS X v10.4.8. You can't use it if you have Panther OS X 10.3.9. So you have to spend an additional $129 for a new operating system! Making the total for an iPod $129 more!

I purchased this camera for my daughter. I already have a Canon eos digital rebel. She needed something user friendly and that also took good pictures. After buying it and taking it home so I could tell her how to use it after I gave it to her, I kept it and bought her another one.

I bought this for my wife who wanted a small camera that she could carry in her purse. Full of features, compact and best of all, great pictures. For an everyday snapshot type camera, you can not go wrong with this one. We have been Kodak people for the past 5 years and I am sold on Canon now.
The price to value ratio is very high in my opinion. I think you get a lot of camera for you dollar!

The Cannon SD1000 has been everything we expected and more. Have not had chance to use all features yet, but it took great Christmas photos of the grandkids. It is easy to use. Pictures come out excellent. Looking forward to many happy years of picture taking. Cannon has put together another excellent product.

Have owned this for about four months now. I wanted to wait until I had put it to good use, before I reviewed it.
PROS:
Battery life. Simply amazing!
Battery size. Tiny. I keep a spare in the case and it is effectively invisble.
Great battery charger. Hard to improve.
Movie sound and (usually) quality. When you are able to find a good vantage point and lighting, the movies are just amazing. The sound could hardly be better considering the package and cost. Broadcast quality!! Outdoors eight out of ten movies are problem free. Indoors all have been problem free.
Overall picture taking. Very good to excellent.
Macro photos are excellent.
Redeye seems to be extremely rare. (see cons)
Screen is amazing. Best I have encountered. Sharp and bright inside or outside in the sun.
CONS:
On occasion you get odd colors and or banding in the movies. I have experinced this with a number of digital cameras. I expect it is an issue with lens size. Or the user...
Cannot optically zoom when taking photos. Digital zoom is silly.
Redeye reduction works after photos are taken not as they are taken. Also it does not always fix them. I would say the processor in the camera repairs 97% of redeye.

I bought this camera for myself just before the holidays since mine had broke. I love this camera, it's easy to use, takes great pictures, small enough to carry in my purse, on the motorcycle and is always handy. I am really having a great time with this camera, I NEVER miss anything anymore. Pictures are easy to download off the camera to computer. I have never had any problems with this camera.. I just love it!!!

The iPod Classic has had TOO MANY one star reviews by people who don't even own the iPod or had shipping problems. DON'T listen to those! The click wheel is a little less sensitive than the previous 5th gen iPod video, but is still very usable (the only problem is that iPod cases with click wheel covers won't work). But it is still an amazing product. The cover flow works good and the only doubles I have are albums with more than one artist (which does bug me a little.) I love the split screen effect and all the new interface. If you want a nice MP3 player that's easy to use and has all the bells and whisels, plus can hold your entire music collection and still have over half of the space left... you will like the new iPod Classic! I will update if I have anymore problems.

I own 2 of these, and I just bought 2 more for family members. This is a great little unit, and perfect for the gym, or going away on vacation. I wanted something that didn't take up any space or get in my way during exercise and this fits the bill. Holds a decent amount of music and the battery life is better than I thought.

The name of this products makes certain inferrences- mainly, that thing thing can shuffle songs. Oops. It doesn't actually play anything in a RANDOM order. It just sort of shuffles everything ONCE, then continually loops through that playlist it generated. This playlist is also extremely poorly shuffled, with songs from the same artist frequently playing one after the other. How random.
Save your money and buy a real mp3 player, not this thing that can't even do what it is named for.

The iPod shuffle is small, plays fairly well and is at a relatively fair price, but if you are comfortable using Windows Media player then this item is a nightmare.
Mac users seem obsessed with attacking anyone if they prefer Windows software but, hey, I like Windows Media player. For me it's just easier to use, faster with way more options than iTunes.
There are many other very good mp3 players out there that work great with Media Player and in the future I will avoid all iPod products. Not to mention once your battery dies then the item is as good as junk.
Just to be clear, I do like the shuffle but I hate iTunes.
Apple 1GB Shuffle - A steep price for a starter MP3 Player.......2007-11-17
The third generation of the iPod Shuffle is similar to the second. It's a great MP3 player for working out or running, especially if you are a die-hard Apple fan. However, the steep price means you had better review all your options before you choose this.

The Form Factor
This little guy is small! The body has a spring loaded clip on the back so you can clip it to your shirt without any extra case. Apple added a few extra color options, including the popular purple. It comes in a composite case. The 2nd generation's case seemed a little bit more durable.
The basic controls remain the same (fast forward, rewind, pause, and play) to access your music collection. There is a headphone jack which you also use to mount this on the sync dock. A standard USB B port would have been preferable to this as well.
Storage Capacity
Apple made it available only in 1GB sizes, same as the 2nd generation. It would have made more sense to bump it up to at least 2GB. The competing Zen Stone Plus by Creative offers 2GB (twice the songs), an FM tuner and the ability to see song titles for less money. Sandisk also has some lower capacity Sansa models at similar price points.

Durability
Apple definitely deserves point for the more durable player in this group. Even with the new player composite body, these guys do hold up to a lot of abuse.
Software
When you only have 1GB to fill, having to use iTunes software to do it seems excessive. Competing players have even worse software, but allow you to drag and drop files on these devices like USB thumb drives. Once again, if you LOVE Apple and iTunes, the software is not going to be an issue for you.
For those that care about file options, Apple's software allows only MP3 and AAC. You can convert other formats to these, but be aware of the limits.
Sound
The sound this unit produces is pretty good for it's size. However, it's just ok. I still feel the first generation shuffle sounded much better, but the trade off was it was much longer.
Price Point
This unit is pricy at about $80. As of October 2007, 1GB of flash memory is going for under $10 retail. That's what makes this price somewhat hard to swallow. Once again, Apple's reputation is well deserved. This particular model requires you to pay a premium for it.
If you just want a really small player and you are open to brands beyond Apple, the Creative Zen Stone gives you 1GB for $40 and 2GB for $65. Sandisk Sansa has similarly priced models.
If you must have Apple and need a small player for high impact workouts, this is it. If you want to stay with Apple and can afford it, stepping up to the Apple iPod nano 4GB will cost you $140 ($60 more) but gives you 4 times the capacity and the ability to play video.
Overall this is a good player at a price that could be less. Weigh your options and choose the player that's right for you. Enjoy!!!

At first I was hesitant to buy the shuffle, am I selling myself short, Will I miss the video feature of a full-size iPod? The only thing I have been disappointed about this product is the fact that I bought the silver one just two months before the purple one came out. This ipod is great for working-out and traveling, the other ipods are too bulky for these activities. I take it everywhere with me. I LOVE IT! Now if they can just stick more memory into that tiny little body.

Extras

Requires Mac Operating System Upgrade.......2007-12-26
I purchased this to replace an older Nano. On connecting it to my Mac Mini I was informed that I had Mac OSX Ver 10.3.9 and would need to upgrade to OSX Version 10.4.8 so the new Nano would be recognized.
On Googling this it appears that Version 10.4.8 is no longer available and that I will have to upgrade to Leopard - which is currently not getting the best upgrade reviews.
If Apple requires a particular version of their operating system for the new Nanos to work then this information should be included in Amazon's product description.
This isn't the first time I've had a less than positive experience with Apple and I can understand that Nano 3rd generation sales might be less if the box was stickered "warning, may require operating system upgrade", but frankly I feel the way the Nano is being advertised takes the buyer beware experience to new levels.

In the past, I have owned 2 pentax digital cameras, a canon, a nikon, a fuji, and none of these can be compared to this recent canon digital camera I just had purchased. This is one of the best camera's ever that takes great quality photos.
Let me give you a scenario: everytime there is a group event, my fellow classmates bring all their camera's to take photos for themselves with their friends and so on. However, when a group photo is taken, and you have someone holding 5 digital cameras to take the photo of one group, everyone ends up asking, how did your photo from your camera turn out. When they end up seeing the quality, the clarity in the photo from this camera, they always end up asking "do you think you can send me your copy of this group photo because i dont' like how mine turned out"
So bottom line, this camera is a great camera!
Blurry/Soft photos.......2007-12-26
No matter how I set up the camera, the pictures are just not very crisp. They are very "soft" and blurry. My Dad's 2 year old, 4MP Kodak takes WAY better pictures. I have a feeling that I may have gotten a bad camera and will try to return it for another one just to give it one more chance. Most people seem to love this camera, but there area few of us that are not getting very good clarity it he pictures.
Other than that, I love the camera's size, features, feel, & ease of use.
Review of Canon SD 750 PowerShot.......2007-12-26
This camera boasts of really exceptional quality in terms of picture quality, camera performance and features and it lives up to its name and advertisement. Colours are really vivid. The 3" LCD display is a great feature, you do not have to search with a flashlight to see the images that you have taken. The single drawback is that you have to depress the shutter button for much too long a time to shoot.
Canon SD750.......2007-12-25
Great camera that I have always wanted at a great price from Amazon. I had several other Canon digital cameras and as usual very satisfy with them. Big 3" LCD display was one of the major factor I bought it for easy review of pictures taken. I have tried the Sony W55 before from my friend and I thought the Sony looked great but the picture quality was not as good as the Canon. Besides, using the Memory Stick was a turn-off because MS is expensive compared with SD. The only commnet I have for Canon is I hope they can design a better appearance (better appeal) camera like the Sony or Casio. Great picture quality cameras can look nice too. Go Canon.
