The PLANTRONICS MX150 Mobile Headset combines unique Flex Grip design with advanced microphone technology, resulting in a discreet, stable, comfortable headset with superior sound quality.
Amazon.com Product Description
The Plantronics MX150 noise-canceling mobile headset combines the company's proprietary Flex Grip design with advanced microphone technology to deliver a discreet, stable, and high-quality headset. The MX150 is compatible with most headset-ready mobile devices, including models made by Motorola, Samsung, LG, and Kyocera.
The headset's bendable noise-canceling boom mic is designed to provide an optimal fit and high clarity just about anywhere, and the headset's Flex Grip design permits one-handed placement in your ear.
One-touch call answer/end and voice-activated dialing are available for most popular Nokia and Motorola phones, though be aware that voice-activated dialing must be supported by your phone or service for this feature.
The headset uses a standard 2.5 mm input in an L-shaped configuration that limits wear and tear.

Plantronics MX150 Flexible Boom Headset with 2.5 mm Plug Plantronics MX150 Flexible Boom Headset with 2.5 mm Plug
I use this all the time. it is so comfortable that you forget you are wearing it. the ear piece is very comfortable, and the mic is wonderfully sensitive.
the only improvement I could suggest would be a "answering" button on the line from phone to ear piece/mic...
Comfortable Headset.......2007-10-24
The headset fits comfortably in my ear. The sound is great. I highly recommend it.
Good value for the money.......2007-10-24
This is a good value for the price paid. However, even though the product seems new, there was not formal packaging. It just came in a sealed small plastic bag. I don't remember anything that showed me the product was new, which is what I wanted. I must say, though, it is working fine so far.
Plantronics MX150 Head Set.......2007-10-16
I was very disappointed with the audio quality. I do not use this item.
Great product........2007-09-21
Also bought their bluetooth unit that looks like this. Both are great products with good sound, good noise canceling mics, comfortable and easy to store. Good price and fits either ear. Recommended.

sputters along for a year or so & then dies.......2007-11-29
It "worked" for little more than a year, but never satisfactorily. The sound was always tinny & the machine was overly sensitive to flaws & scratches in the DVD, often freezing up (usually at climactic moments in the film), which required me to transfer the DVD to my computer or home player, where it worked fine. Also, whenever I used the controls to rewind, fast forward, pause, etc. I knew I would soon pay the price of the film freezing up. So it only worked with perfect DVD's & then only if you watched the film straight through. Then one fine night, without warning, the motor stopped spinning & that was THE END.

I purchased this dvd player, I had to send it back to the company that sent it to me, for the lens on the dvd player was defective, on the first time of using it. It randomly chose what dvds it wanted to play. But after i sent it back, i received another one, with no problems. It works fine.
Only thing is that you have to be delicate with it, especially with the cover to where the dvd is placed, and the lens that reads the dvd. Anything little thing, could cause a scratch and prevent it from working.

So Far, So Good......................2007-07-08
We purchased this unit several months ago. We got this unit for our 3 year old to watch movies on when we travel. It was a replacement for a Kawasaki unit that had recently died on us after a year or so. I expect the life of this unit should be better but I would not expect anything more than two years. My daughter uses it at home as well for maybe 30-60 minutes a day. The picture is very good, better than the Kawasaki.
Great Product.......2007-06-26
I bought this for my boyfriend because he travels a lot and so far it's been great. The sound isn't that great without headphones, but he only uses it with headphones so it's not really an issue.. The screen is huge! Just about as big as my laptop screen. Battery life is decent. If it's fully charged lasts about 3 hours.

Customer Reviews:
How do you work this thing?.......2007-12-19
First off, I am not a tech illiterate person. I have an iphone, a flat screen tv, camcorder, digital camera, etc. I am generally up on the latest technologies, and usually enjoy nice new gadgets. But this product, I can't figure out.
First, this was to be a gift to my mother, which I was to load pictures I had stored on my computer and put them onto the internal memory of this frame. Well after repeated attempts to get this thing synched to either my camera OR my computer, I gave up. This thing just does not know how to talk to other pieces of electronics. I'm using Windows XP and a pretty recently purchased computer, so not sure what the problem is.
Oh, the other thing, I would have just purchased the SD card and loaded pictures on there, but my digital camera (cannon powershot) uses a different card, and this frame only takes SD. So there goes that option. I'm sure there's a work around, but to give this as a gift and expect the person to have everything they need in order to get this to work out of the box, don't bother. Very disappointed and will be returning this item.
Falsly advertised and NOT WORTH the money...........2007-12-18
The product description specifically reads, "...includes black, white and wood grain interchangeable frames...". I DOES NOT come with any other frames but the white one. Plus, the picture quality is horrible. I was very inconvenienced as this was a Christmas present and very dissapointed with Amazon.
Not as advertised.......2007-12-12
I returned this product. It is advertised with a resolution of 800x600, when in fact the resolution is 640x480. The item worked well, the interchangeable frame was nice, but I felt that it was overpriced with that lower resolution. I explained to Amazon's customer service that the specs on this item are incorrect, but it appears that they did not change the listing.
Amazon was very easy to work with in processing the return.
CRAPPY AMAZON.......2007-11-23
Amazon grouped all 3 of Audiovox's digital picture frames together despite MASSIVE differences. Please DON'T count on the resolution till you read chart below taken from data on Manufacturer's site.

Excellent frame with only average software.......2007-11-19
I own a couple of these and a couple of (older + smaller) Phillips photo frames. The physical size and 800x600 resolution of this frame is very nice. It also comes with a small remote control but I've never used it.
The quality of the displayed images is very good. There's controls for brightness, contrast, hue, saturation, etc so you can adjust the display to accurately display the photos.
My biggest and only complaint is the firmware which ought to be easy to fix. Here's a quick sample of what I mean and I'll compare this frame to the excellent software in the Phillips:
How long each photo is displayed:
Phillips: Anywhere from 2 seconds to 30 minutes.
Audiovox: 3, 5 or 8 seconds.
(Even at 8 seconds, this is too fast. I like 30-40 seconds per photo)
Order to display photos:
Phillips: Sequential or random
Audiovox: Sequential only
(I like random so you never know what photo will be shown next. Otherwise you tend to 'memorize' and know what's coming up next.)
Automatic shutdown:
Phillips: The frame can turn itself off at certain times
Audiovox: It's either on or off
(My Phillips turns itself off between 11PM and 7AM in the morning)
So I really like the images on this frame but the firmware drives me crazy. The options to cycle to the next image are only 3, 5 and 8 seconds which for all practical purposes is the same setting... FAST. How !^@ difficult is it to write software/firmware to let the person set a longer time?
This being said I'm still hoping that either Audiovox or someone will come up with updated firmware for this. I have seen absolutely ZERO evidence that this will happen but I keep checking anyway because these gripes are easily fixed. If they would only bother.

Product Description
Initially, a portable DVD player is a miracle device for families planning long car trips. It has been found that placing one of these with your child in the back seat of your car significantly reduces in-car noise. That's because children love to view their favorite films and videos on a portable. But it's also great when you're sitting out on your porch or patio. You can take it with you on camping trips. The Audiovox D2017 can play DVD and CD disc media including CDR and CDRW with MP3 encoded music files. It can be powered at home, from your car's cigarette lighter adapter, or (for up to 3 hours) through its rechargeable li-ion battery. At only 1.5 pounds, the Audiovox D2017 portable DVD player boasts a 10.2" widescreen and built-in stereo speakers. Take it with you where ever you go and enjoy! Built-In 3-Way Card Reader and USB Port Output port for adding optional earphone or headphone for private listening Plays DVD / CD / MP3 CD / CDR / CDRW / Picture CD Convenient Credit Card Sizes Wireless Remote Control Includes Rechargeable Battery, AC adapter, Car Adapter, and A/V connect cables; Audiovox 90-Day Limited Warranty

good experience.......2007-10-10
works fine nice picture, battery life isn't enough for 2 long movies and it will not recharge from the cigarette lighter adapter included but it will play til your car battery runs down nice setup all around except I think all the others I looked at would charge from lighter adapter I rated it 4 star because of the lighter adapter not charging battery it says it won't not mechanical failure
Great 10" Portable DVD Player.......2007-08-02
This is a great DVD Player. For those of you who like me have young kids and didn't get the DVD package when buying your mini van, this is a great alternative. I also purchaced the Mo Go holder and when assembled correctly it provides a sturdy holder for this player between the two front headrest. The player also comes with media card slots to veiw slide shows of pictures from your digital camera. We just went away on vacation and held out as long as we could 3 hours in the car, and then put up the DVD player. There was total silence from the kids in back car seats.....
...........Priceless!!!
completely pleased.......2007-07-23
This was just what I needed....we're using this strictly for long road trips and so I wanted a big screen for the kids. This included a nice case and decent ear phones. For the money, I think this was a great purchase!
CostCo Purchase.......2007-07-19
I'm just about to head out on a trip with this new purchase. The price was right at $159 for the case, two headphones and remote, but I was somewhat crestfallen to learn you can NOT hang the unit from the back of a car seat with the battery connected to the unit. Dopey design. With my kids in the third row of a rental van, the liklihood that the car power adapter will reach is slim. I hope the rental will have a thrid row cigarette lighter adapter. I guess they'll just have to rest the unit between them on the seat. Picture quality looks really good (other reviewer's comments notwithstanding) and sound on the earphones supplied is fine. Battery life is a bit on the short end (Audivox claims 2.5 hours), but I plan to turn the brightness all the way down and have them use headphones (less power-eating than the speakers). I was toying with the idea of getting the Panasonic LS-82 which has MUCH longer battery life. I might return this one.
do not buy.......2007-07-12
Cost cutting in many places is evident with this unit. The screen resolution is 800x480 , but not as sharp as other players with high end screen display. The unit does not have a true last scene memory function , but one that is totally useless for resuming a program from where it previously stopped. Why is this done-- cost savings ? Also, the AV input does not work .I would stay away from this player

Works top notch.......2007-11-17
I've used Plantronics headsets for probably 50 years. Initially when flying oceanic runs for air to ground contact, and later with ham radio. I purchased the MX203-X! Mobile Headset to try it out and it worked so well that I purchased several more to give to my family to use. Recommend without reservations.
great buy.......2007-11-09
The headset is very easy to adjust. The sound quality is great. Would recommend this product to anyone.
Hands Free Driving.......2007-08-12
I purchased this product so I could chat with my family while driving to and from work. It conveniently fits in one ear without the headset looking microphone so you don't feel like you are working at Old Navy or in a call center. You should be sure to plug it in before driving so there's no extra fiddling around, the only inconvenience associated with non-wireless capabilities. Quite often the person I am speaking with complains of not being able to hear me very well, but after a microphone adjustment it seems to be aleviated.
Great product.......2007-06-27
This headset is great. My friends can hear me better when I talk with the headset plugged in than without it. And I hear better too. I used a Motorola headset before but the Plantronics is far better than the Motorola.

Great hands free headset.......2007-12-11
I own two of these headsets and they are great. I had bought several different ones for my panasonic phone at the office and the main problem was that all of the others were really bad when trying to hear the other person and the mic was not good enough either.
This one attaches to the ear very nicely and the sound is great. I would wish a bit more volume on the earphone, but its ok in almost all situations.
The mic works really good too.
Great Headset!.......2007-12-04
I use this for work on a regular cordless phone. It works great, although I wasn't aware that the turn off feature would not be able to be used on the cordless. The mute button is a simple toggle switch, so that works no matter what phone.
On my cell, all these features work beautifully. It is mostly comfortable, but my ear did take some time to get used to it. It may not sit like an earbud, but it still does go into the ear canal and could hurt after some time if you are sensitive to this.
Not impressed at all...........2007-10-17
I do not understand why this product is getting so many good reviews. I have been using this headset for a few months, and I have had nothing but trouble with it. It is very difficult to get this headset postioned right so that you are heard clearly.
The problem is with the design of the voice tube. Instead of having a wired microphone, this headset has a hollow, clear plastic tube that runs from the ear piece to somewhere near your cheek. This voice tube is supposed to pick up your voice and echo it up into the ear piece where the electronics are. But since the tube stops a couple of inches short of your mouth, it is very hard for you to position it to pick up your voice correctly. The people on the other end of my calls always complain that I sound muffled, and sometimes they don't even hear me at all. Unless you have the voice tube pointed directly at your mouth, you are going to sound muffled. To further complicate things, the tube connects to the ear piece with a ball and socket type of connection. This allows the tube to twist, in addition to swivel in all directions. So not only do you have to have it positioned as close to your mouth as you can get it (which isn't very close), but you also have to have it twisted at the right angle so that the tip is pointed directly at your mouth. Getting it positioned that way is not easy to do unless you are looking in a mirror, which I have had to do many times (and it sometimes still didn't work right). I do not understand why Plantronics chose to make this with a hollow tube instead of a microphone. This is a very comfortable headset, so if it had a traditional microphone on a boom, it would be a perfect headset. Instead, it is made to be the equivalent of talking through a straw. It does not work good at all.
One other thing that bothers me is how they are bragging on the box about how Plantronics went to the moon with the astronauts and the first words from the moon were spoken on Plantronics equipment.... I can guarantee you that THIS model headset was not anywhere near the moon, so they need to stop their deceptive claims. Equipment that cost thousands of dollars doesn't compare to something that costs under thirty bucks. But, I digress...
To sum it all up, you would do best to avoid this headset. There are much better headsets out there for just a few dollars more, so I would recommend letting Plantronics keep their garbage so they can send it up to the moon.
It's alright..........2007-10-11
I purchased this unit as an upgrade to a the Plantronics M60 headset.
People I talk to on the phone tell me that the old one sounds better to them, so I've bought another M60 and shelved this MX510 as a backup.
Sometimes fancier is not better.
The Pros & Cons.......2007-09-27
Pros - Very clear and loud.
Cons - Getting on the ear and aligning the mic needs getting use to.
Otherwise I recommend it. Fast delivery service too!
