Product Description
Although the DB2 was originally designed for outdoor use, it has quickly become one of our most popular indoor antennas due to its small size and extraordinary gain. The bowtie design provides strong gain across the entire UHF spectrum and it functions incredibly well in areas where a low profile antenna is required. In fact the DB2 was recently named "The highest performing indoor antenna" from HDTV Primer. Range 1 - 30 miles distance

Super.......2007-12-23
I have a metal roof on my apartment. I could hardly pickup any channels at all. Now I pickup about eight all but one are great. I also put on a amplifier too which cleared up the one bad channel. Worth the money saved me from buying cable.
Great antenna.......2007-12-23
I was ready to install this on my balcony, but this thing picked up everything from inside the building. I am about 8 miles to the towers, maybe that's why. Right now it just sits right next to my TV, and does its job. I am really happy about this purchase!
Best 40 bucs I've spent.......2007-12-22
This antenna works great outside for me. I mounted it in My house behind the TV it didn't work well. Then attached it to the old directv post on my roof. The old dish wiring ran about 90 feet and the signal was weak. I then shortend the cable to 30 feet and get about 40 DTV and over the air stations. Reception has been great. I may upgrade to the stronger antenna they offer just to find out what I'm missing. This thing is a bit ugly but I think for the 40 bucs is well worth it.
Works Great, Big and Bulky.......2007-12-20
This antenna works great, it gets all the channels that are broadcast in my area with very good signals on each, it is inside and gets a good signal no matter where i put it. The only problem is that it is gigantic and looks really bad. I think it was actually meant to be used outside, but i use it inside anyway. It is big and clumsy and hard to fit anywhere. I had not tried any other HD antennas before getting this one so I can't really compare it to anything else. I actually got it because it was the one with the best reviews when I was looking, but if you can find one that gets as good of a signal without looking so stupid and being so big I would recommend that.
Full bars for me.......2007-12-15
I used this as an outdoor antenna. You can use is indoors--it is small--but it will look hideous.
Before I set it up outside, I connected it inside. I did get a better signal than the antenna that came with my TV tuner card but it wasn't a perfect signal.
Once I moved it outdoors onto the roof of my shed I got full bars. I used antennaweb.org to figure out where to point the antenna and found out that I am only 6 miles from most of the towers. If you live farther away you might want to get a bigger antenna.
Again, having an outdoor antenna is what made most of the difference. If you live in an apartment however, this might be the best indoor antenna you can buy.

The DB4 has become our most popular model because it is simply the best Mid Range HDTV antenna on the market. With an approximate 13.7 dB gain, it is one of the strongest multi-directional antennas available and performs consistently across the entire UHF spectrum. It even works well in areas where HD transmitters are in multiple directions. The bow tie design of the DB4 uses triangular elements instead of rods to greatly increase the bandwidth allowing it to cover the entire UHF band. Additionally, the mesh reflector of the bowtie is more efficient than a rod reflector, is lower in weight, and provides less wind resistance for greater performance and durability. If you are looking for an antenna that is practically guaranteed to perform, the DB4 is one of your safest choices. It will pull in all UHF frequencies and most higher level VHF frequencies with a range of about 55 miles.

Picks up well in our attic.......2007-12-14
We bought this antenna to pick up the local digital signals. We put it in the attic and it picks up the local stations very well. These stations are located within 10 miles of our house. It also picks up a station in analog that is about 60 miles away, but this station doesn't broadcast in digital. So far, we have been very pleased.
Works great, easy to set up........2007-12-09
Came in box basically assembled. We hooked it up inside and immediately doubled the channels we were receiving and improved the quality of all channels. We are receiving multiple HDTV channels now, it is great-- we receive almost all major stations in HD as well as SD now! We are 20-50 miles from the various stations in our area with multiple obstacles-- buildings, airport, etc nearby. Right now the antenna is in our living room, we will move it outside soon, so I expect we will pick up even more channels when we do that, we are 20 miles from the nearest city and another major city is about 70 miles away. Only 4 stars, as there is no pole to mount it to but other than that, I am extremely pleased. For some reason my tag says we are in Boston. We are actually near Sacramento, CA.
Worked As Advertised.......2007-11-29
I connected this antenna to a 10ft pole on my roof of a single story house. Most of the signals are about 35 miles away with no noticeable obstructions (other than this big pine tree.) I pointed it in the correct direction by looking at antennaweb.org
At first I did not get the channels I was expecting but then I did a rescan of the channels with the TVs setup menu and I got all the digital channels in that direction plus many others. The futherest came in from 62 miles away.
IT'S NOT WORTH THE MONEY.......2007-11-24
THIS PRODUCT IS WORSE THAN THE ONE I HAD IN THE ATTIC BEFORE. THE STATIONS WERE WEAKER THAN ANTTENA THAT CAME WITH THE HOUSE.
Good HDTV antenna.......2007-11-12
I had this temporarily setup on a pole/mast in the house next to my Terk amplified indoor antenna and it got about the same reception. I was underwhelmed but was ok with it since I bought it for the roof, where my Terk can't go.
Then, I realized I had my in-line amplifier connected wrong, then wow, after amplification the DB4 clearly did it's job better indoor or outdoor. It's on my roof now and pulling in NBC in High Point reliably from Greensboro which is listed to be 35 miles away. before amplification it was apparently on the fringe and would go out with the weather (I have a lot of dense trees), now it's good.
not only that, it indeed is fairly omni-directional as I'm only pointing at the weakest channel and it's pulling everything else at full green bars within a 30 mile range.
lastly, the square grid is relatively small and hardly noticeable on a roof compared to a dish or large traditional vhf/uhf antenna. make sure you have a good mast to mount it to.

Intended for people at great distances from the transmitters, the DB8 is our most powerful multi-directional HD antenna. In fact, its 15.8 dB gain make it one of the most powerful multi-directional antennas available. The bow tie design of the DB8 uses triangular elements instead of rods to greatly increase the bandwidth allowing it to cover the entire UHF band. Additionally, the mesh reflector of the bowtie is more efficient than a rod reflector, is lower in weight, and provides less wind resistance for greater performance and durability. This DB8 is the ideal antenna for use in locations that can pull long range signals from various directions and offers an attractive alternative to using a directional antenna mounted on a rotator.

multi directional HDtv Antana.......2007-12-18
Recieved this product earlier than expected. It works great, I now have more channels, at exceptional quality. I highly recommend this product if you are looking for a HD. antenna.
great over-the-air HD.......2007-12-16
I put it in my attic and get dozens of channels in HD (in SF Bay area). Not even sensitive to direction. Works with TV and TiVo. Split signal to stereo for FM too. Total costs less than 1 month Comcast.
Digital Antenna.......2007-12-09
I used this as a replacement for an equally expensive antenna. This one pulls a better signal without dropouts.
HD Antenna the works.......2007-11-21
Like many folks, I ran out and bought a funky-looking HD antenna at a local retailer for an inflated price. The performance of the antenna sucked. A bit of research & web searching identified that the DB8 style of antenna was what I wanted. Got it for a great price via Amazon, installed it, and voi-la -- 90+ signal strength on all local channels.
Leave the overpriced 'art-work' antennas at the local retailers & order a DB8.
Happy with my purchase.......2007-11-08
When I got an HD 1080i TV I purchased Lacrosse antenna (after reading favorable reviews) I was not happy with the Lacrosse. When I purchased new Dish Network ViP722 I had to do something so I purchased the DB8 after reading reviews.
All the HD towers were about 18 miles North-West of me. I have trees close to the antenna and between it and the towers.
The DB8 came through for me. I could never receive more than 2 analog TV channels worth watching but I got all these through the digital signal.
----------Digital Signal Strength
Channel-----Lacrosse---------DB8
3.1----------- NA ---------- 88
12.1---------- 73 ---------- 100
16.1---------- 82 ---------- 100
29.1---------- NA ---------- 100
35.1---------- NA ---------- 75
40.1---------- NA ---------- 75
The DB8 did not gain or loss much signal strength as I moved it to fine tune it. The Lacrosse would lose and gain other channels when moved for fine tuning. It would not pickup more than 2 channels at a time.
