Recomend Do NOT Buy!! - Love Color Hate Function - Trouble with DVD.......2007-08-26
This is one of the cutest products and my wife had to have for our twin daughters. It has been nothing but trouble. You have to place the TV in dvd mode for the dvd to run and so we have to set for the girls they cannot do on own. In addition it hangs up in the DVD start-up sometimes works others not (especially if they have had the tv on for a time). Remote is not balanced and is weighted on the oposite end of normal remotes so the girls got confused on which end to point to the tv. Also the weight of it made it difficult for them to hold in small hands.
Except for how cute it is I would not buy again otherwise I would have given one star instead of two! Eventhough the unit is still working we are buying a different TV combo this week!

This TV is easy to use for a young child and so far seems to be real durable as well. The simple images on the screen allow the child to find their own way around.

This is the perfect little tv/dvd for a little girl's room! The picture is great and Hello Kitty pops on screen for certain commands (volume, channel change..). My daughter age 4 loves it. I would have given this product 5 stars but there are a couple drawbacks...the remote control is has SO many buttons and they are VERY tiny, very close together. I can barely read what each button does because the labels/print is also VERY tiny. This is annoying when in my daughter's darkened room and I have to turn on a bright light just to find the pause button... the other thing I have to point out that bugs me is that you can't eject/or open the dvd player unless the tv is in dvd mode. In other words when I go to put in a dvd, I can't just push "open". Nothing will happen. You have to find the right button, choose "dvd" from a choice of 3-4 things, and only then will the tray slide open. All in all, these things would not prevent me from buying this tv again...although it would be nice if they did come out w/ a more kid friendly remote with bigger buttons/symbols for a small child to recognize... One great thing I want to point out--there is fast forward scan that you can watch as it fast forwards (something not all dvd players offer) and this is great when you are putting a dvd in for your child and they want to skip all those pre-movie ads....you can FF right to the beginning of the movie!!!

The Hello Kitty televison with DVD is perfect!~!!!! It fits great in a toddlers room on the dresser... it is not to big and not to small... it is fun and easy for my little one to use.... she turned 4 this year and she loves it!!!!!

I've been a fan of Hello Kitty ever since I was little, and when I saw this TV I had to get it. It's absolutely adorable and works like a charm. Everything from the screen saver, volume control, and channel display rings of the adorable icon. A must have!

I'll admit it: I bought this TV for myself and I am in my late twenties. I grew-up on Hello Kitty and my love for her has never left me. When I saw this TV, I knew I had to have it! I bought it for my bedroom a couple of years ago, and have never had a problem with it. I get happy every time I see it, or use its cute pink remote! My husband thinks it's ridiculous, but I can guarantee it will *thrill* any Hello Kitty fan. It's full of cute details like an on-screen menu with hello kitties on it! I am very glad I bought it!
A Huge Hit.......2005-11-26
I bought this television for my niece who is absolutely obsessed with Hello Kitty. This was on the top of her birthday wish list and once I saw how cute it was, I had to get it (is it possible to resist a pink television?).
Needless to say, the televison was a huge hit. My niece was quickly able to figure out all the television's functions (and was so pleased with herself!).
It's only a 13" screen, but really she doesn't need much bigger in her small room.
I give it five stars for everything but educational value (only because television is probably not all too educational).

My daughter absolutely loves her new Hello Kitty tv - I purchased it to match a pink and green decor in her room. As an added note, this model is new this year - the picture on line is last year's model made by Emerson not Spectra. The Spectra model is a prettier shade of pink with a carry handle.

Only Lasts About a Year.......2006-04-29
My daughter received this for her birthday last year. It seemed perfect for her pink room and light use. It has been 14 months and the bulb is going out. I would recommend buying a brand name television that will last and skip the cutsey. Very dissapointing.

I bought this for my daughter for her 13th birthday,because she begged me for it.for her matching room.The price is kinda high,but we could only find it at toysrus.But it's cute ,hello kittys come on screen to turn volume up and down.She's happy with it.
