Not much to say here: the construction of the cable is excellent -- I used these cables for a car audio project and I really needed confidence that the cables will not give way in a tight spots and will be immune to vehicle noise and temperature conditions.
I'm not disappointed -- I can't tell any loss of audio fidelity. The molding is excellent and the connectors fit exactly.
Also, kudos to Belkin for using easy to open shrink wrap. So many products these days require (ahem!) industrial grade equipment to cut open.

For the price and appearance they are a good investment for your equipment and deliver a good clean sound. Much better than the cables that comes with most audio equipment and i plan to buy more of them.

I have a VHS-C camcorder that locked up after saying on the screen that I needed to use a head cleaner. I have only had it for just about four years and I could not find this type of head cleaner in any store locally so I searched Amazon and was able to find the head cleaner and I can now use my VHS-c camcorder again (until I can no longer find the tapes!).

Worthless.......2007-08-22
These are the absolute worst headphone I've ever owned. The sound is terrible if you can get it working at all. The tuning button feels like playing the lottery, you press it and hope you'll hear some sound. Maybe a few minutes later you'll be fortunate that it will actually find one of the right frequency. Most of the time I can't even get the things working. When it does, the sound is terrible, it's rough with occasional popping.
RCA 900 MHz wireless headphones.......2007-04-11
I own an older pair of these, so decided to get another one based on performance of previous model. Like this one better in terms of ease of use (auto tuning), but don't like the headphones because they are very uncomfortable. I have taped the inner tension panel to the upper panel to make them less tight on my head.

I have not used this phone for SKYPE yet, but as a land line phone it is pratically worthless. The sound quality is so bad you can't understand what the person on the other end is saying. Do not buy this phone, at least not if you ever wanted to use it as a land line phone.
Not ready for prime time.......2007-08-26
I too was very disappointed with this phone. A phone is an audio device primarily. In this respect, this phone flunks. It's the worst audio I've heard in years. And it has nothing to do with skype which sounds great if I use it thru my computer or I conference in with my landline. It also has nothing to do with the small size of the phone. Even when I wore a good quality headset, it was still terrible. The quality is so tinny, I can barely understand the other speaker. They also complain that my voice quality is terrible. It also tends to break up and crackle. You would think in this day and age, getting decent sound quality would be a no brainer.
I was also disappointed that when you make a skype call, the contacts brought in from the computer display only phone numbers and not the name you set up in skype on your computer. I'm calling people, not phone numbers!
Other than that, it is fine. Set up was fairly easy. I like the fact that you can bring the second handset into the conversation via the intercom function. Unfortunately, I may end up returning it because of the terrible sound quality.

As a computer technician I have installed the software and set everything up and my phone says I am connected to skype (all though it can not read my contacts, I am told you have to manually enter them). I can not call out or receive calls even though it says I am on line and I am able to do it from the computer. I have been on line with support for over 4 hours now. Each time getting transferred to a new person, now I have the supervisor on the phone who like the last 8 people have no idea what skype is or have ever used it. Like the last 8 people he is reading the troubleshooting tips out of the manual and wants to know if the phone is powered on and is my computer powered on. The last technician was unaware this product comes with a cd or any type of software and the phone still does not work so back it goes, no one should have to go through this. the supervisor I last person I spoke to "tells me there is no one here that has used this phone before, we are unable to help you. I would suggest you return it"
Bad sound quility or no sound.......2007-02-18
1.When used with the land line I get a lot of hissing and the voice on the other end is very choppy.
2.When used with skype the voice on the other end is very quite and cackly and they can't hear me at all.
I'm very disappointed because I though this would be a good solution for me, especially after reading the review this phone received from PC magazines and editors choice aware.
I will be returning this phone. I would like to find something that works well with a land line and skype.

I purchased mine with a good price. It seemed to install fine, but it does not work with Skype, i do not care what anyone tells me, it is worthless.
A. The manual does not tell you how to get the sound to come through the phone.
B. It hangs up on Skype at random within 2 feet of the base.
C. You use the phone and then Skype on the computer goes off, and the person talks from the computer and you cant here them on the phone, or talk to them.
D. Tech states to set sound to USB, well that does not work, WinXP/Hone SP2 Win/XPpro SP2. IT will not work with USB period
E. When you can't use the phone no one will support you, and it will leave your Skype connected to your caller after you "End" call on hand set.
F. They lie about contacts, it puts the phone numbers in, and only skype accounts with not Skype in, will not show up. Only +15066608876 you will see in contacts. contacts on the menu is for your TELEPHONE NOT SKYP WORTHLESS
G. If you enter in your moms or friends number in the contacts area, it can't be dialed from skype.
H. You will not get a refund, try using it for fire wood, it will burn nice, just take out the battery.

Hard to say..........2007-04-09
I've had this alarm for about a year now. I bought it on clearance and for the price I paid, it has given me more features than any alarm I've ever had... but yet, I kind of hate it. It it not intuitive (I always have to keep the instructions handy), the snooze button is WAY too small, the radio does not work, or even when it does you can expect to get fuzz the next time you turn it on, though you didn't touch the dial. I hate that you can't sleep to one volume and wake to another. It feels cheap and the font labelling each button looks awful. However...
It has so many great features. Waking to any track of a CD is great, I love the gradu-wake feature and, most of all, the WEEKEND CANCEL. Why every clock doesn't offer that I do not understand. I like being able to see the 2 alarm times at a glance. The nap feature is great, too.
Overall, if I could find a better, sleeker clock on the market I'd buy it. But for now, I cannot find anything comparable worthy of replacing it.
Terrible (Non-Existant, Actually) Reception.......2006-01-28
I purchased this clock for my son to use. He immediately complained that he couldn't get any "good" radio stations, but I figured he just wasn't familiar with the controls. So I tried, and it was true - we could only get one radio station (we live in the Boston area, so there's no shortage of stations to choose from). I tried moving the clock from room to room to see if there was just a dead area in my house, but no luck. We even took it over to my parent's house to try there, and no luck.
Basically, you'll get a nice clock that will play CDs, but if you really want a radio, keep looking!
Easy for your kids to use.......2005-11-22
If you desire, this clock will only wake you up during the week and not the weekends, or have it wake you up all week. Kids need only to push the off button and it resets itself for the next day. The display lights can be dimmed. The display tells you what time the 1st and 2nd alarms are going to go off at, and if it is going to be cd, radio, or alarm that wakes you up. Read the quick easy to read manual, and set it up, then you won't have to touch it again except to turn it off. This is my second order for this clock, because I am going to replace my current alarm clock with it!

I was very excited when I received this item as a gift. It has all the features I want. One of the main features I want though, didn't work and that was the radio. I had the same problem with my unit as others have had. I got 2 FM stations to come in that I like out of about 20 that I like and get in perfectly on other radios in my home. The two stations that did come in on this unit were unreliable. I would wake up late because the station would be all fuzzy that was just coming in the day before. Not good for getting to work on time! The manufacturer said that the power cord acts as the FM antenna. I tried moving it, fully extending it, etc. Nothing worked. My old clock radio I've had for 20+ years is so much more reliable and gets in so many more stations in exactly the same spot. I was extremely disappointed.

If you want to listen to a particular station, I don't recommend this item. I tried to find a number of popular radio stations, but none of them came in clearly. I got a spanish station in clearly, but I don't know spanish and wouldn't really enjoy listening to that station. I just wanted to wake to some music I'm familiar with. That wasn't possible with this item.

I wished I had read all of the reviews for this when I bought mine two years ago. It is worse than a piece of junk because I paid too much money for it and it is useless. The buttons are not easy to use, when I think I am turning it up, I have somehow skipped to the FM radio and cannot seem to get back, other times it seems to cycle through the same 5 songs for no apparent reason. I am still very bitter about spending so much money for a worthless piece of junk - not to mention all the time I have spent trying to make it work.

As most who bought this one knows the battery door did indeed break on my sons. It skips and freezes really bad. He still uses it but I do not think it would hurt his feelings if it got stolen at school! lol

electrical short kills cheap-med quality head phones! i lost four before i figure out the problem. and no, it was not just one player. i returned it and got a new one, and it did the same thing. I gave it a 2 and not a 1 because it records radio very well.DO NOT BUY!
Progressively Worse.......2007-04-09
At first I thought it was a pretty nice little MP3 player, although the 60 songs it holds has always been a thorn in my side. I didn't mind converting everthing over to real player since it doesn't play itunes, however, after about three months I had to change the battery...After changing the battery, the mp3 player would randomly shut off, which became a constant problem after every battery change, though eventually the problem would solve itself. Approximately a year later, the battery cover was also constantly falling off for no apparent reason. Now, about a year and a half since purchase, it has completely died, only playing about two minutes worth before shutting off on its own and refusing to reboot for several minutes. It's a great player for the price, but I would have liked something a little more dependable with a larger memory.
NO RESUME!!!.......2006-09-08
The title says it all. If you bought this player for listening to audiobooks, which is what I did, you'll be extremely disappointed that you'll have to fast forward through the book every time you start it up since there is no resume feature. Considering audiobooks are anywhere from 3 to 8 hours long in most cases, or at least the pieces you get from audible are, it's totally inconvenient to start playing from the beginning each time you turn it on. Get used to the fast forward button and remembering exactly what time you were at because you're going to be doing a lot of it. Lame.

This phone stopped working after a week. First, the machine would record half of a message. Next, it started combining messages from various people. Then, it just stopped recording altogether. It would play the outgoing message, and even beep, but NO MESSAGE. We forwarded all calls to our mobile and ordered a Uniden - thank goodness, no problems with that one! Don't waste your money!
Too many red flashing lights.......2006-09-09
I bought this phone because I wanted an answering machine with a red flashing indicator to remind me to listen for messages - because I always forget to check. They sent me a slightly different phone - because of the colour - white GE29893. It works fine and the answering function is unproblematic. Two problems - firstly there are two indicator lights which flash red - one for messages and one for calls - so everytime someone calls it starts flashing and I have to delete the call record. Of course it ends up that the thing is always flashing and I still forget to check for messages. It is also a little quiet - hard to hear the person calling - even with the volume on full. I wish I had bought a less complicated phone.
Answering Function Does Not Work.......2006-08-22
As previous reviewer described the answering machine function simply does not work. It either answers and then hangs up, or just keeps ringing. The only option is to ship the phone back and wait up to six weeks for a replacement, sounds as those the replacement might not work either! Try another product!
HUGE DISAPPOINTMENT!.......2006-06-22
Purchased this model 3 weeks ago, the answerer would not work. Exchanged it for another again it would not pick-up, play message or record incoming call. It will also be taken back and exchanged for a phone with caller id. Will go back to voice mail. Too bad because this model if it had operated as stated would have been easy to use. I called GE and they suggested that I mail it to them, but I don't know how long it would take them to get it back me and if it would work even then
also I don't think I should have to pay s&h plus ins. on a new phone that should work. I gave 1 star because the is no option for 0 stars.
