Having tried several different headsets, this one works best with the Treo 650. Still not great but fairly good. Static occurs any time it is not in direct line of sight. Even putting the Treo on my belt is enough to cause static. Oh well, it's the best out of 4.

I purchased this when my headset jack broke on my Treo 650. Washington state will soon require handsfree calls while driving so I needed something and went with the same manufacturer for compatibility since some bluetooth devices can be a pain to set up. Sound quality is good enough - I must say that I am not very particular about things like this and that I only use it in my car or when it is close to my phone and "latches" on to a call.
Convenience Trumps All!.......2007-07-17
It's not the fanciest or prettiest bluetooth headset out there, nor is it the fullest featured. And I wish it (a) went louder, and (b) stayed loud by default.
But the best thing about it only comes to those who use Palm Treo phones (650 through 700, and I suspect others but I'm not as sure). You see, if uses the same power connector as the Treo, so you only need one power cord to charge up both (not at the same time, of course). If you don't have a spare charger for your phone, this essentially gives you one for free. Keep one at home and one at the office!
Having one less charger in my car, and one less wall wart plugged into a power strip at home, totally makes this a *great* headset for Treo owners like me.

I used this headset for two days and now my phone or my computer are not able to conect with it. I did not try to connect the assistance, so I can't say nothing about Palm support to this moment.I can do that after I try.

First off, the vehicle charger is excellent ----- very stable, high speech charging, and unlike the old Treo 300 vehicle chargers, it does not break easily, nor does it come out easilly ---- HIGHLY RECOMMENDED FOR ALL TREO 650 USERS
The leather case is pretty good, if you need one ----- the headset isn't that great - most Jabra's or Bluetooth ones have better mics and are more comfy - but hey, for $30, you really can't beat this price!

The cover works well except that it's a little snug and I ended up cutting the plastic around the keyboard and buttons as it was harder to type with the plastic on. The car adapter works great and I haven't used the headset yet. I think that this is a great deal for the price.

I love that I don't need a special adaptor to use these headphones with my Treo. On my prior set of stereo headphones, I had used the adapter, which caused the whole thing to stick out so far from my phone, effectively making my phone take up an extra inch of space! Plus, this caused the plugs to jostle around so much that it messed up the actual headphone jack in my phone. Then I had to jiggle around the plugs to make the sound come out OK.
Now, with THIS product, it's FANTASTIC!!! It fits the Treo (I have 700p) perfectly, no need for adaptor, and it's great because when I get a phone call, the music automatically pauses until the call is over. And, if I have my phone on vibrate and am listening to music, I hear the phone ring in my headphones!
The only drawback is the sound quality -- it's just "OK". It's nothing like a set of Bose headphones, but then again, these cost only $7. The functionality definitely makes up for the sound quality. Definitely buy this, unless you're one of those that are super-picky about sound-quality and wear those ear-muff head phones.

I picked this up for my Palm Centro and it works great. It feels a little cheap, but you get what you pay for. I have not used it to make any calls, but this was the best deal I could find to be able to use stereo headphones with my Palm device.

A little more precision in the crafting of the jack would be a nice touch, once I've seen others complaining about it delivering only mono (left) signal. After some plugging/unplugging, I got mine resolved, but this shouldn't be necessary, even considering an inexpensive item like this.

I have had this for 2 months now, and it has worked out well. I use it on my Cingular 8125 phone while I exercise, I can listen to audiobooks on a sports headphone. When a call comes, the AudiblePlayer pauses, and I can answer the phone with the built-in button. Voice quality is fine on my end (in both ears) and I have received no complaints from the other end, unlike the other reviewer (maybe he got a bad unit, or his stereo connector is dirty?). When the call is over, the AudiblePlayer resumes. I never have to stop my exercise, or even slow down! My only complaint is that the volume control doesn't work worth beans. When you rotate it, at various positions, you will hear from one ear or the other. There are a few positions where you will hear in both ears; but, that is not at the maximum volume. This is a bit annoying, but something I can live with. I just leave it at one position (close to the max volume, but a little less), and use the volume control on my cell phone to adjust volume.

I bought three of these at once - and they all were fine for being an adapter to a 3.5mm headset for listening to music, but they didn't handle calls at all - everything is full of static, listening and talking. I just placed a call with it, and the person who answered immediately told me to call back that the connection was terrible, but it was the adapter that was the problem, full of static and echo. I would never use these for calls.

I like everything about this headset except the fit. The optional hook (included) is necessary just to keep it on my head, barely. Even with it it still has fallen off already. If my ear was bigger (opening) then it would probably go in and stay without the hook. For comparison, the included headphones that come with Apple iPods don't fit me right either.

I have tried several headsets with my Treo 600. This one from Palm One seems to work the best. The headset speaker is clear and the microphone is also very good. Its also comfortable to wear. I would highly recommend getting this original Palm One Headset for your Treo. Go for it.
