After reading all the negative reviews about this product I decided to suck it up and give it a try. I've been using this headset for about 1-2 months now and I have no complaints so far. The microphone works great, the headset fits comfortably on head, and it has a sturdy frame. I mostly use it to play online games, but it's also good for listening to music, watching movies, etc. The only things that bothers me though is that sometimes when adjusting the volume it almost feels like I'm losing sound in one part of the headset, but it's not a big problem or it could be just me. Overall 5/5.

I am online searching for a new gaming headset now as these broke, right on the side where they adjust into the plastic, so now they are trash. You get what you pay for. I usually love Logitech products, but this is not one I love. The mic was never great, people constantly having trouble hearing me even after lots of tweaking. I have a high-end sound card on my PC and this set just didn't do anything great with it.
Going to spend a bit more after I read review and get something nicer since I use it so much.
Look elsewhere.

There is some comfort, BUT when the microphone is adjusted, there is a static sound that interupts conversation. Logitec needs to do further engineering on the product.

I read most of the comments for this headset, and a lot of people complained that it was uncomfortable.
They weren't kidding. After 30 minutes on Skype, my ears were killing me. The earpieces are very hard (despite their appearance) and the headset is really tight. I couldn't believe how uncomfortable these were-- how can somebody manufacture something this bad? I purchased this headset for VOIP calls. The microphone works great but in the end I had to return these.

They are much better than my logitec headset but still not as comfortable as my Bose. However, Bose do not connect into the USB port--so you're stuck with buying two pairs.

I bought these because from the photograph it looked like these completely covered your ears and I work in a noisy cubicle environment. Well, they rest on your ears rather than covering them, but they're very good headphones and they are a lot better with Dragon NaturallySpeaking voice dictation software than the ones I was using before. I'm very happy with them.

Great product if you want to listen to music and catch phone calls without switching headsets.
I use it with a Labtec amp/switcher that bridges the audio from both sources.

Bad Design........2007-01-02
I bough those for about 20 bucks at local walmart and wish I havn't wasted money. For over the computer internet chats the sound quality is preatty good but the really bad part is the design. The microphone is way to short and is resting on your cheek when wareing, the ear phones are also uncomfortable since there is no left/right side you can put them on both ways.
Fot this kinna money there are better products out there. Stay away from this one.

This headset was a complete waste of money. The sound quality is decent for conversations but is clearly subpar when it comes to music or games. The plastic arm of the microphone is indeed very short as other posters have noted. And like them, I too experienced the problem of the microphone jutting right into my cheek/mouth. The headset is very flimsy and feels EXTREMELY uncomfortable, and the padding on the earpieces is FAR from adequate. Save your money and find a better product. Logitech has delivered quite a disappointment with these.
Very unimpressed- returning for something better........2005-03-20
This is my first headset. I'm using primarily for Internet chat while gaming. I wouldn't recommend this headset for a couple reasons:
1) The arm length is NOT adjustable. The arm was lodged into the side of my face and the mic was in my mouth. The mic can be twisted a bit, but to get it out of my mouth I had to twist it so it was pointing straight out. My roommate had the same problem. If you have a tiny head you may be able to wear these properly.
2) The padding on the ears is very unsubstantial. After about an hour of gaming my ears ached from the hard plastic of the ear pieces digging into my ears.
The voice quality (for chat anyway- didn't play music or game sounds through the ear pieces) was fine and the volume/mute controls worked as expected. I'm returning these though because they're unusable on an average sized human male face and weren't engineering for long term use (over an hour).

Maybe it was the person who shipped it (3rd party retailer through Amazon) but this headset is crooked and doesn't fit on my head correctly (if the ear on one side is flush the other side sticks out). Its a shame b/c otherwise they would be very comfortable.

I paid $9.99 for this headphone, I think I got about my monies worth.
Pros: Fits comfortably enough with small room for size adjustment if needed
Cons: After 1 week of use, the left side just stopped working out (can still hear out of the right side thankfully)

Edit: Now I'm having trouble hearing and being heard over skype. This headphone is pretty terrible reception wise and should be AVOIDED.
