We set up a music studio for friends and family to enjoy (instead of all that TV and movie time). This instrument offers an opportunity for others, who may not have an instrument, to join the fun! When it is plugged into the PA it has a "real" sound. I'm gradually learning what it can do, and I've even bought a book of how to play the drum. It's a worthy instrument for our studio.

This set it good for the great price. I use it for recording only and I noticed that the sensitivity level seems to be poor through midi, but that is only for the snare drum. If you plan to use this live it sounds good and feels good except for the pedals which feel like keyboard sustain pedals. I use it with Toontrack's EZdrummer and it was basically set except I had to edit the high-hat. I feel that this is good for my small recording studio and it can be good for a young drummer trying not to annoy neighbors but not wanting to fork out $1500 for a good set. If you want to make it better you can buy the kp65 and buy a pedal and that is pretty good, but I have yet to try that high-hat pedals.

Overall this is a good product; it has a lot of quality features and the pads don't miss. However you should plan on plugging it into an amp because the onboard speakers are bad. The pedals should be a lot more sensitive as well.

This enclosure is fairly inexpensive for a 5.25" and it snugly holds my DVDRW Drive. I also put a 3.5" HD in one. There aren't any mounting screws with it which is a little irritating (only reason I didn't give it 5 stars). Cooling fans can be a litle noisy, but not too bad. An auto-off feature would have been really nice too. Despite my nit-pickyness I'd say its worth every penny. THey look nice, are flexible, and are giving me worry free performance.

It's a very nice looking enclosure & very easy to open and attach my dvd burner. The biggest problem with it is the fan noise. It's very loud, crazy loud. They could have used a universal power cord to make it easier to replace in case of loss.
I'm keeping it though... so it works for when I need it.

I've had it for about a month now. Setup was a breeze. I haven't worked it too hard, but transfer rate is fine, and it doesn't even get warm, and I will leave it on for days at a time.

I tried to use this in Germany. It started smoking and smelling burnt about 3 minutes into use. I never used it again.

I bought this converter a few weeks ago to power up my microwave oven. I popped in a bag of corn and used the preset timer 'Popcorn' which is about three minutes. At the end of three minutes the job was incomplete so I decided to give it an extra minute, as soon as I press the start button: Pop but this time it was not the corn. the converter went dead. Can't say what this piece of equipment is designed to used with, it says heating appliances. Well I would have thought that a microwave oven is a heating appliance but someone has proven me wrong. So if you plan on using this with a microwave oven, please save your money!

The description does not make it clear that this ONLY works for 'heating' applicances between 500 and 1600 watts. You CANNOT use this for computers, lower-wattage devices, etc.
I just received it and I'm going to return it, as I can't use this for phones, etc. with which I travel.

I was very disappointed when I got to South America and went to curl my hair and nothing happened. Take a look at the product specifications. It has limited use for appliances between 500 and 1600 watts. I had two different curling irons with me - one was rated 85 watts and the other 125 watts. I am not sure what appliances this converter was designed for. Take my recommendation. Buy the converter by Tumi instead. It is twice the price, but it is one piece, easy to travel, and works with many different types of appliances. I am very satisfied with it.

Good cable for travel or extra connectivity around the house. I could not find a cable that would work at Radio Shack (we tested them at the store) so ended up ordering here. You do not need the adapter.

The adapter is much better than hauling around the disk shaped TV adapter. I travel a lot and love anything that saves space. I have an AV500 that I use this with, and when you plug in the adapter, it partially blocks the power adapter jack. You can't charge your Archos while using the adapter. If I had an angled power cord, it would be ok, but I don't want to force it with the existing cable and possibly damage the jack.

Works great with the AV504. don't use the adapter thingy, plug the wire into the headphone jack and it'll output to a tv just fine. It will not record though; for that you'll need the dvr travel adapter or the dvr base. If you have the need to go both ways with it; skip this and buy the dvr travel adapter; it comes with this same cable and can record from analog devices. If you need to record from svideo or composite that requires the dvr base station.

Not bad for general purpose use, I didn't really get these for great stereo sound, but for the microphone use. Since I don't have any other headphones for music, I use these. If I were looking for a headset that sounds great with music, I'd go with something else.
