This travel adapter is just perfect! As a Flight Attendant I look for products that can "travel" well. this adapter breaks apart for easy packing and has all the right plugs and you dont have to take all of them with you,just the ones you need.

Awesome Universal Power Adapter.......2007-04-14

One of my friends complained that the non-OEM charger (not designed by Creative Labs) that he bought, does not charge his MP3 player properly. The reason is the current rating required by the MP3 player is not met by the charger. Recommended him to buy this Universal adapter set.

I am truly amazed the way this universal power adapter components have been designed. Works wonderful in US - for my Zen Xtra, Zen Micro and TravelSound portable speakers. Planning to take them to Singapore and India this Summer and test it out there.

I love all the Creative Labs products. I own multiple products from them, 2+0 speakers, 2+1 speakers, 5+1 speakers, MP3 players (Zen Ztra 30GB, Zen Micro 6 GB), Travel Sound etc. I am convinced that their designers work really hard to make these products outstanding.

It took a bit of research, but I wanted to avoid purchasing an aftermarket adapter after one customer's review stated that his purchase "fried" his MP3 player. I bought this one and took it to England where it worked beautifully, providing a quick, safe recharge for my player. It comes with six different fittings so I'll be all set for the different outlets in France when I travel there.

Originally purchased for charging my Ipod but I've just tested with my co-workers Zune. Some usb cell phone data cables also charge and those go well with this charger if you want to just stand alone charge via USP. Sorry I don't have the car charger to test.

Deceptive Advertising.......2007-04-03

The product delivered does not match the picture. The travel adapter shown in the picture and mentioned in the description are not included. You get only a USB car charger, that's it. No travel adapter. Showing the travel adapter in the picture and mentioning it in the description when it has nothing to do with what is delivered is nothing but an attempt to deceive the buyer into thinking he will also get a travel adapter. In hindsight, the grammar used in the description is both poor and ambiguous. But the picture is inarguably false and deceptive. I would be very careful in buying anything from desirepro.

Works great charging the IPOD independently of a computer. The IPOD standalone charger by Apple costs $30 and can only charge from household current. This setup costs half as much and works for AC household plus a seperate item that uses a car cigarette lighter.

Does not work.......2007-01-17

I purchased the black set of wall and car usb power adapters for my IPod Nano 2g and as far as I can tell they do not work. I plug them in, and then plug my IPod into them, and the charging symbol flashes for a few seconds, however about 4 seconds later the charging symbol goes away.

Guess I'll have to end up purchasing the more expensive version anyways...

A lot has been said about the seller's shipping prices. Yes, they are exhorbitant, but compared to Apple's price-gouging, I couldn't be happier. I got this charger, along with a replacement (retractable) USB cord for about $16.00 total including shipping. Apple charges $29 for their charger alone, and mine was lost or stolen less than a month after I bought it. I've had no problems with this generic charger since purchasing it, see no discernible difference between it and Apple's, and would recommend it highly.

Disposable Charger.......2006-04-03

When I first got this charger and started using it I thought it was great. It did what it was supposed to do. Why the one star then? After about two weeks it just stopped working. It didn't fall or anything. It died about two weeks after I got it. I can't really complain though, after all it cost me 5 bucks.

the product works great but the shipping charges are just scandalous. i reccommend getting it directly from the manufacturer. however, here it is still a lot cheaper than getting an adaptor directly from apple. i was NOT going to pay thirty bucks!

iPod travel charger: cheap but sufficient.......2005-09-19

I'm overall satisfied with my travel charger. I constantly listen to my ipod at work. We run linux boxes so it isn't really an option to plug my ipod mini into my tower- so this provides a nice alternative. I also didn't feel like shelling the $20-30 for the official USB charger or a base station.

+ cheap simple to use
+ works
- doesn't come with the USB chord. You have to use the one that comes with your ipod
-- the charger seems to screw with the scroll wheel. When my mini is plugged in, the volume will jump up and down like its receiving mixed signals. (menu, pause/play, other buttons seem to work fine) [quick work-around, unplug the charger for 2 seconds, use the wheel, plug it back in].

Overall i think the important parts are that it works and its cheap. If you want something pretty and seamless, look elsewhere.

The sounds is great but does not fit on earbuds of new 80GB iPod. They must have made the new earbuds a bit smaller for the 80GB iPod. The enhancers would not snap on and kept falling off. Sounded great for the little while they stayed on, though.

I recently purchased the iPod 4-in-1 super charger, and have used it regularly since. It provides four ways to charge your iPod (ac outlet plug, auto cigarette lighter, usb direct to computer, and 9 volt battery)all in one unit. I have used all but the 9 volt battery power input, and they all work quickly and easily. It is a great design, with even the power ac plug folding into the unit when not being used. I would strongly recommend this product to anyone considering its purchase.

Okay, but not fully functional........2007-11-15

I bought this to watch TV shows on my TV. Goods, charges IPOD, remote does allow you to pause show from your bed. Unfortunately that's about it. The line out for Audio is so low volume I have to crank the TV up full which causes background noise. So I hook the audio line to the headphones out, this works but now I have to connect two things. Remote does not allow you to change shows/songs or do much of anything other then pause. My reccomendation is buy the audio/video cable that connects to the IPOD headphones and use this to connect TV to IPOD, simpler and smaller, but no charging. Overall, does the minimum of what I need, but no more.
