The versatile design of this fax machine incorporates both a flatbed glass and an automatic document feed for faxing and copying both single sheets and bound documents. Black or color faxing, as well as fast color copying are facilitated with a 14.4K bps fax modem and a front-loading paper tray with a capacity of 100 sheets. An economical 4-cartridge ink system delivers high quality output while reducing waste. The generous, 16MB memory can store up to 300 fax pages for out-of-paper reception or memory transmission applications. Designed to meet changing needs, it also includes a USB interface for printing at up to 25ppm black/20ppm color, or up to 6000x1200 dpi.

The fax machine's 14.4 Kbps fax modem transmits as fast as six secods per page, while 16MB of internal memory stores up to 300 pages for out-of-paper reception and memory transmission. The versatile flatbed design is great for copying or faxing bound documents.

The 2480C features a front-loading, 100-sheet paper capacity and a 10-page auto document feeder, making document handling fast and painless. You'll also enjoy fast black and white or color copying--up to 18 cpm in black and white and 16 cpm in color. The unit also boasts up to 1200 x 600 dpi resolution.

When faxing, take advantage of 90-station auto dialing and 10 one-touch keys and 80 speed dial locations for sending documents to your contacts quickly. You also get fax broadcasting for up to 140 locations, while a quick scan mode lets you save faxes for memory transmission. Dual access capability lets you scan faxes into memory while the unit is busy sending or receiving. Need to take or make a quick call? A built-in telephone handset makes it easy.

Meanwhile, caller ID and distinctive ring detection are built in, as is a USB port for PC connectivity to meet future color printing needs. When printing, the unit boasts up to 25 ppm black and white and 20 ppm color speeds--at up to 6000 x 1200 dpi resolution.

I ordered a compatible Brother MFC 3360C LC-51 black ink cartridge. I have been completely satisfied. The cost was about 1/10th of the Brother black ink cartridge from Office Depot. When I tried to take back the Brother cartridge because it did not last for 10 pages, Office Depot said they take back no cartridges, I would have to take it up with Brother. They said I wouldn't have any luck, but I could try. I went on line and bought 3 compatible black cartridges on Amazon and they work great.

Someone decided that a suite # was a whole address, so obviously I never got the item. Hummmm! I wonder why they got it back? I requested a refund, and they withheld the $7.00 postage. Who benefited from this transaction. I didn't get the product, and they got their cost back for a shipping error that they made.
