Works as advertised, great little antenna.......2007-10-30
I live about 20 miles from the nearest station in a very open, rural area. This antenna was easy to set up, and I soon had it up on the pole. It seems to be fairly directional, but brought in the expected stations without trouble. You get what you pay for with antennas, and I'm sure a bigger antenna would perform better. This is all I wanted however, and it works as it should. I'd buy it again.

Top-of-the-Line antenna........2007-01-04
You can't beat the great Channel Master StealthTenna (that's the name you'll find on the box.) I mounted it on my back fence, aiming right at the town broadcast tower. Boy, is my reception good now. It brought my world from night-to-day. It does get HD reception good to. I'd really recommend this baby. It looks sharp too, sittin' there on your fence top. good for Channel Master.
Works for me! 8-).......2007-01-01
Hi,
I live in a rural area about 65 miles from the only talk-radio (FM) station in North Central Florida. :( Rabbit ears and a signal booster worked ok until a weather front came through. The problem was a radio station on the SAME frequency was about 70 miles in the opposite direction. The propagation would change as weather fronts plowed through. Crosstalk and bleed-over would render both stations unintelligible. Arrrggghhh!
I installed this antenna on a ten-foot mast. Using a map and compass I aimed it exactly at the talk-radio station. Mind you this antenna is NOT advertised to accomplish this task. I am a bit beyond its advertised range. However... NO matter what the weather, reception is CRYSTAL CLEAR. I now have NO noise, fading, or other reception problems. To include the once aggravating crosstalk and bleed-over from the opposite station.
It did what I wanted it to do. I got my monies worth.
Thank you Channel Master!
Hope this helps.

P.S. I'd give it 5 stars except I don't have it pointed at any TV stations and again they would be out of the antenna's advertised
Works Good .......2005-08-18
I recently purchased this antenna so I can receive over the air digital local channels. It does a very good job pulling in local digital channels in the Phoenix area but the standard analong channels do not come in very clear. I have been receiving almost a full signal on the digital channels per my HDTV's signal meter. The manufacturer recommends the addition of an optional amplifier to improve the signal. I have not yet ordered the amplifier but after reading a review by another owner on Epinions, he states it works very good with the addition of the amplifier.

Channel Master 3016 Outdoor rooftop UHF/VHF/FM antenna.......2007-05-29
The antenna arrived in 5 days to my doorstep complete with all parts except the mounting pole. I Decided to rid myself of the cable/satellite setup due to unappealing programming and low value. This antenna suits me fine and will work with "Hi Def" when I buy my next TV. The installation took 20-30 minutes and resulted in good TV reception. Pulls in local stations from about 28 miles. I also now have good FM reception for a stereo audio tuner (classical music). Easy enough to dissasemble during storm/hurricane season. Quality made metal construction that will hopefully last a while. I recommend!
Performs as needed considering the price..........2007-05-24
I just finished installing the antenna. I get between 4-6 bars of signal, with most towers about 12 miles away. Minimal signal for me is 3 bars, so this seems to be performing adequate to my needs. I am using it for HDTV so as long as it can hold a picture on all channels, I'm satisfied. But don't expect this antenna to do miracles. As a test, I stripped 3 feet of copper wire, pointed it straight up, and attached a cable to it and I got around the same signal strength, but this antenna would obviously deliver a more stable signal than my test wire.
Great Antenna.......2007-02-28
I live about 10 miles from the HD antennas. One of them is VHF and was constantly dropping out on my little Zenith Silver Sensor.
I placed this antenna in my attic - simply lieing on the insulation - and even after removing the signal amplifier I was using before I now get 95-100 signal strength on all channels.
97+ signal from 33 miles away.......2007-02-23
eyeballed the aiming and after hooking up the tv got 97-100 signal with a few trees and no hills; very good for 30 miles from tower. easy setup with minimal tools involved. very good antenna from a good name.

Works very well for me.......2007-12-14
I live in Northwest AR. I pull in all locals digitally (in HD if available) with this antenna in my attic from the Rogers Area. I have the dishnetwork VIP 622 DVR showing at least 85% on one channel (usually 90%) and 100% on the rest. I have the signal split with two other receivers, both analog and they look very good on everything but Fox??? I have no amplifiers and about 50' of coax. Your luck with the antenna in the attic will depend on your specific location and building type. My eves are wood siding and asphalt shingles on the roof and an open field in the direction of the further transmitters. Due to the proximity of most of the transmitters, I was able to aim the antenna at the most distant and receive all locals without rotating. You still have to pay for locals on dishnetwork if you want the guide to show anything but digital programming. If you receive channels out of your "local area" it will still read digital programming. This makes it difficult to record the programs.
Bad material for good Antenna.......2007-09-27
It is a good one but not suitable for outdoor. I had this product for last 40 days and during summer its black plastic material gets crack due to heat. Now the elements are hanging on wires and swinging when wind blows. It is not good for environment looks dirty shows cheap quality antenna. The company covers warranty for 90 days. Look like its life is 90 days and after that you are looking again to buy new.

Exceptional Reception.......2006-06-22
After much research and trying the Winguard antenna that DirectTV sells, plus an amplified indoor antenna from Radio Shack, I did my research and came upon this gem.
I live 36.7 miles from the transmiting station and have never been able to receive ABC off the air in HD. My receiver showed about 23% reception with the DirectTV antenna. Upon installing this antenna and pointing on the correct azimuth, my ABC reception went to over 90%. I flawlessly get all the major networks off the air and in HD.
I also found this model about ten bucks cheaper at my local Lowes store.
If you're using the antennaweb.org to determine your antenna needs, this one prints the colored pie chart right on the box, which the outdoor Radio Shack antenna did not do. They also print the db gain on the spec page on channel master's website. BTW, this one covers all the way to the Violent range.
I noticed that Channel Master's web page specs showed a range of 40 miles for this antenna, but when I picked it up at Lowes the box said 30 miles. Being 36.7 miles away I was worried....needlessly. Reception is excellent.
The only draw back is the size. My wife nearly fainted when I put this thing on the roof. She thinks I'm trying to contact an alien mothership or something. Actually, once it was on the roof on my 2 story house it didn't look too bad. If the HOA complains I do have room in the attic to put it.
