The Honeywell RCW33W Atomic Wall Clock calibrates itself to the world's most accurate clock by receiving radio time signals. These transmissions contain information from the U.S. atomic clock source operated by the U.S. Commerce Department. The jumbo-sized time digits can be displayed in 12-hour or 24-hour format, and this clock features a calendar that displays the day in English, Spanish, French, German, or Italian. After time synchronization with the radio time signal occurs, you can select from one of four continental U.S. time zones.
The RCW33W is also a mini-weather station that displays indoor and outdoor temperatures, and even a 12-to-24 hour weather forecast with corresponding icons. For accurate outside readings, simply place the included TS13C remote sensor outside of your home or office, up to 100 feet away from the base, and the remote sensor will wirelessly send accurate outside temperature data back to the wall clock. This wall clock and remote sensor are powered by two AA batteries each (not included), and the clock also comes equipped with a handy stand for use on a nightstand or desk.

Weather forecast does not work.......2007-11-02
Whether there isn't a cloud in the sky or its pouring down rain, the weather forecast never displays anything except partly cloudy. However the display is easy to read and the temperature seems to be accurate. The atomic clock feature works ok, but there is about a 30 second discrepancy between it and my cell phone which is supposed to be updated from my carrier which is also supposed to be very accurate. I wonder which is more correct.

After my Oregon Scientific atomic clock/barometer station started falling apart, I began looking for a similar item that would be large enough to see from across the room without my reading glasses. This Honeywell Weather Clock fills the bill nicely. This will hang on a wall or sit on a desk, runs on easily available AA batteries, and gives the atomic clock time/day/date, inside and outside temps (comes with a wireless outside thermometer remote probe), and a nice weather animation. There's an alarm, too, but I haven't tried it out. No backlighting, so it's more of a daytime wall clock-plus. It's aluminum-look plastic, but sturdier than my old Oregon Scientific clock and hung up more easily. It's definitely worth the money, and it's not expensive at that.

Purchased this product from OfficeMax clearance department for $29. Works well.... but will disconnect signal with 'outdoor temperature sensor'. I had to reset clock (removing battery) to reconnect with sensor. Other than the occasional disconnect, this is a great until.

Totally accurate clock.......2001-04-17
My concern was that perhaps I would not be able to receive the radio signal since we live in a very mountainous area. It works!! It took perhaps one minute to lock onto the signal. It also instantly knew the month/date (example 4/16) and day (example MON). Setting the time zone was very easy as was setting it up for an automatic switch to daylight savings time. Also this clock comes with an alarm capability which I did not expect and won't be using personally but if you want an accurate alarm clock I guess this one would be it. The instructions say that as long as it is receiving the signal the accuracy is one millionth of a second. Also there is a quartz back up apparently in case you were to lose the signal for some period of time. Looks very nice on the wall in the study/office and the digital time read out has digits that are slightly larger than 2 inches tall. The temperature readout is another nice bonus and simply measures indoor temperature which is the only display not generated by the radio signal.
