This product only has two flaws:
1. Attracts a lot of lint/dirt outside/inside of case.
2. Plastic cover over screen creates a 'bubble' so display is somewhat tricky to read sometimes
Overall, it does a great job protecting the iPod mini. Dropped it several times and still works like a charm! That's the reason you buy it, right? To protect, not to enhance.

It's not the prettiest case for my iPod, but who cares? It's going to keep it from scratching/breaking when I eventually drop it! The main selling point for me was that there's also a protective plastic layer over the screen that will protect the screen during collisions as well. Not many (if any) other cases had that. Plus, you can see the colors through the silicone. I thought the pink/blue/green iPods were way too bright for my taste, but this case could easily blunt those colors.

The ONLY reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because I have trouble taking the darn thing off because it has such good grip and fits so snugly. You have to take the skin off if you want to use the Ipod Mini belt clip. The belt clip is such a tight fit that you cannot attach it with the skin.
But no complaints! It is a perfect fit, it's very classy, nice grip, covers the screen, yet you can attach an iTrip or any accessories (other than the belt clip) and the skin does not get in the way. It is transparent so the color of your ipod still shows (although not as bright). Like any skin with this same texture and grip, it does accumulate some lint, however, it is easy to clean off. Enjoy!

This case is perfectly functional and actually looks good. It is transluscent with a circular cut-out on the back for the Apple logo, so it doesn't hide the beautiful color you chose your iPod Mini for. It protects the body and screen while allowing access to all the relevant buttons and ports. The silicone gives a better grip than smooth plastic, so not only will it protect your iPod if you drop it, but you'll be less likely to drop it. I cannot speak for every example of the product, but I will say that mine is totally odorless.
It is true that the screen tends to collect dust and lint, but it is easy enough to wash off (after removing the iPod).

Simple, effective, and inexpensive, the Kensington "sheath" (rather than being an actual case) is a good investment. I go running with my iPod mini and now that I have the extra protection against drops and key knicks, my mind is more at ease. The screen covering is really essential, and the silicon sheath is sturdy enough to protect the ipod body against a fall or two. The major negative is, as has already been mentioned, the added bulk will not allow you use the belt clip or a docking station. If you don't use either anyway, this is a no brainer. Also, unlike a previous reviewer stated, I have not noted any chemical smell.

Would not recommend.......2007-11-22
I think that this case is terrible... It collects dust and it is very hard to get it out. Seeing the screen threw the case is a huge problem, the dust makes the colors terrible and if you want to watch a slideshow then take it off becuse it is hard to see. However I give it three stars becuase it does a good job at keeping scratches off of it.
Doesn't Work for 30 GB.......2007-11-15
First of all, this cover is advertised as being for 20 or 30 GB ipods. However, a 30 GB, as I discoverd, is much slimmer and therefore does not fit snugly into the case. It probably won't fall out, but the screen doesn't stick to it completely. Also, because of the material used to make the case, it does attract a lot of lint and fibers and dirt. I defanitely would not recommened buying this iPod cover.

this case is ok it does protect from scraches but attracts lots of dust and i have a problem with the screen protector there are these little stecks that at first i thought were dust but they are acually inside of the plastice of the screen protecter does anyone else have this problem?

It protects the Ipod, but gathers dust very efficiently, especially if you put it in your pocket. Using a piece of tape to take dust of the Ipod screen as well as the inner and outer surfaces of the screen protector helps in keeping the dust to a minimum. Air bubbles also get trapped between the screen and the screen protector. It looks OK if it's clean and bubble-free.
The rubber casing prevents the Ipod from sliding around while on your car seat or in your lap, which is convenient.
It IS hard to get on, but keep in mind that 1) it can help to turn it inside out while getting it on and b) a little chapstick or vaseline helps the process greatly.

This case does a great job of keeping scrathes off of the iPod, but further also keeps all of the dust off of the iPod, however this is a bad thing, as this thing attracts the dust like no other. WARNING: DO NOT [I REPEAT DO NO] bring this case with you to the beach. Once grain of sand got in mine, and completely demolished the screen. The only other thing that I'd have to complain about is that it doesn't seem to stick to the screen too well, which provides for even harder viewing of the screen. It also is VERY hard to get on.

Does Not Fit.......2005-02-10
I just purchased this item. It claims that it was made for the 40 gb Ipod. It does fit on snug but the wheel does not line up well and you cannot charge with the case on. It is hard to get on and off so it is not a great case if you use you Ipod Alot

Simple, stylish, and effective.......2006-07-20
After receiving a used 20 GB (color) iPod as a gift, I quickly realized that the shiny metal back of the unit was very easily scratched. As a result, I resolved to get myself a case. Unfortunately, since I received the unit well after the introduction of the iPod w/video, my selection of cases was wanting. After a very unfortunate experience with a rubberized silicone case (that seemed to attract every speck of dirt within a 3 mile radius), I purchased this microfiber sleeve.
Wow. Just. . .wow.
I'm not hard on my iPod. I don't need the über-strong, can-stand-up-to-a-herd-of-stampeding-buffalo case. I simply needed a case that A.) looked nice, and B.) would keep the iPod from being scratched. This sleeve was exactly what I needed. The microfiber works perfectly, allowing me to scroll and adjust the volume without any issues. The vinyl screen efficiently protects the screen and allows for a perfect view. It's easy to put on, but doesn't fall off of the unit. For the record, there is also a three-pack available where the sleeves come in blue, red, and black--but even the blue (which is my least favorite of the colors) looks fabulous on the unit. I'd recommend this case to anyone looking to protect the iPod without using a clunky (and often expensive) case.
