Great Sixty Dollar Sound System.......2007-08-04
I was looking for a radio-CD-cassette player for the bedroom, to supplement the standard radio now in use. I was not looking for something expensive but just to play some of my tapes and CDs before bedtime. I hesitated about buying this system after the one reviewer said the volume was weak.
I received the unit today and set it up. It is just wonderful. The volume goes as loud as I would want. But then I'm nearly age 60 so maybe I don't need the volume the kids today would want.
The sound from this unit is great, I rated it five stars because for the price it is unmatched. The AM reception is quite weak but the FM is strong. Tape cassettes and CDs play quite nicely.
If this were a movie review, it would be Thumbs Up!

Great little CD stereo system with MP3 capability.......2006-12-26
Great little CD/MP3/Am-FM stereo for under $50. The MP3 option is awesome! It reads from either a SD/MMC card or a USB jump drive. You can load as much music as your card wil hold. Also has random function to randomize the play list from your card. The sound is average or better, has basic eq and bass boost fucntion. FM radio signal seems to be very good. Also come with a full feature remote.
