Always have a spare.......2007-11-12
I now have two of these, but always seem to misplace one. They are easy to use and work great with my PC. This one I have hooked into the back of my PC so that I can recharge my Zune when I'm on the computer. Yeah, Microsoft, I don't care what they say about you, the Zune is fantastic.

Doesn't Work.......2007-05-18
I just received this product and plugged in my Sansa. Windows tells me that the Sansa is not recognizable. The product does appear to allow charging of the device through the usb port, but that is useless since it doesn't allow recognition of the device or syncing of the device. I will consider the money wasted and buy a genuine SanDisk replacement cord

Cannot use this cable to transfer data.......2007-11-08
I was wanting a data cable to transfer music to my Zen. This is purely a power cable. You cannot transfer data with this.

You just have to buy this if you own a creative zen m. Don't waste money buying the extra dongle or to replace one you lost. You can buy this for cheaper and you can't really lose it again.
Some say this might break easier, but god...it's $5! The dongle is about $20ish...you can buy like 4 of these and it might outlast your zvm and you won't lose it. Even if you lose it, you'll still have plenty more if you actually bought 4 of them o.O

car charger doesn't work.......2007-03-09
The company is very responsive and sent a new car charger part out immediately after I called BUT, still it does not work. Good thing I really don't use that anyway. Everything else is as advertised.

OK For Charging, Will Not Synch On Two Laptops.......2007-09-14
I purchased one of these on Amazon and returned it today.
It charges both the phone and spare battery when both the USB cable and power adapter are plugged into the unit. (The power adapter is not the same as the Treo wall charger and can't be used without the cradle.) One odd circumstance, at least on the unit I received, is that the unit seemed to stop charging if the USB cable was attached and the PC was off, even if the separate power cable was plugged in.
The LED on the front indicates power on, but one must look at the Treo's charge indicator to see how the battery in the phone is doing. There is also a separate red/green LED in the back for the spare battery status. This would be a nice touch, but my unit flashed alternating colors if no spare battery was inserted for charging, which I found distracting.
The Treo itself is held at a comfortable viewing angle, for me at least.
The unit does not have a separate synch button, and the customer is supposed to run the HotSync application on the Treo in order to synchronize.
Generally these are all minor irritations, and would not be deal breakers for me, but the unit failed entirely to synch. I tried with two laptops, an IBM Thinkpad T30 with Windows 2000 at the Service Pack 4 level, and a Compaq V4440US with Windows XP Pro at the Service Pack 2 level. This was tested both directly to the laptops, as well as via an Adaptec powered USB hub. The Palm synch cable included with the Treo works consistently in all these permutations.
If you do not need to synchronize with Outlook, or can do so via a wireless interface, this may not be an issue for you. I found it unworkable. Not recommended.
Note that this is sold under some other names, not necessarily just the Fosmon brand.
To their credit, my seller, SFPlanet, allowed me to return the unit.
