Love it.......2007-01-03
Using itunes to put music on the nano is easy and quick. If you want to use it primarily for listening to music or podcasts the nano is great. The nano is smaller in size than the ipod, and the screen may not be as good for viewing pictures. It now comes in many colors, so you don't have to settle for choosing between black and white, as I did. Many accessories are available for the nano, too.

Wouldn't recommend this product........2007-12-18
This product did not fit my iPod Nano even though the product description said that it would. I would have liked more specifics on which iPod this actually fits.
Cost efficient way to listen to your IPOD in the car........2007-08-27
We have had our Belkin since we've had our IPOD (about 1 year). We really liked it when we were out of the city limits of LA, it worked great. Unfortunately it was difficult at times to get clear reception when we were in LA because of the many different radio stations in the area. If you live in an area that is smaller than the greater Los Angeles area this device will probably work just fine for you. We've used this many times on road trips and it works wonderfully (because it's easy to find an open frequency). We understand the limits of this type of technology, after all the sounds needs to go through an FM frequency, so it will never be CD quality. For the cost this is by far the least expensive way to listen to your IPOD in the car.
Junk.......2007-01-01
This item is absolutely worthless, don't waste your time! I'm returning mine to Target tomorrow.
There are laws against false advertising, I don't know why they're not enforced.
I will never buy ANYTHING made by Belkin again.
Terrible Sound.......2006-12-30
I gave this as a Christmas gift. I was asked to see if there was something wrong with it because the sound was awful. Every channel on the FM dial produced nothing but static. Occasionally we could hear the music but within a couple of minutes the static would return. Spent over an hour trying to find a station that would work. Would not buy again, and will be returning it.
I own a Griffin 9501-TRIPCB iTrip Auto FM Transmitter and Auto Charger for iPod and it works great. I will be buying this to replace my gift for friend.
it's pretty but it doesn't work.......2006-12-21
if you find a free frequency it work well, if do not you spend a lot time to find it.

Tunefm Transmitter.......2007-02-07
The transmitter works well in the house. It doesn't work nearly as well in the car. Frequently when driving new stations come into range, and a frequency that was clear will suddenly not be. Though the controls are not overly difficult, the mechanics a finding a new clear frequency and then resetting the Tunefm to it are simply too much to do safely if you are driving alone.
I suppose someday they will build one that seeks out clear frequencies itself at the push of a button. If you really want to use it in the car wait till then.

Belkin TuneFM vs Griffin iTrip.......2007-09-23
After purchasing a 80GB iPod, I decided to purchase a new FM transmitter as well. Previously I used a 20GB iPod and a Griffin iTrip that connected via the iPod headphone plug. This time around I went with the Belkin as it received similar reviews as the new dock-connecting iTrip, plus I could connect the Belkin TuneFM with the case on and it would automatically turn on/off with the car power adapter connected. The TuneFM seemed to work fine for a few weeks, until I started to notice more static and a lot of distortion on higher music frequencies. A friend was using the dock-connecting iTrip, so we did a side-by-side test in my car. The Griffin iTrip (9781-TRP30BK) clearly has better sound quality than the TuneFM, the less static, and no distortion.
Of course, the best way is still to hard-wire the iPod to the stereo ... which I am strongly considering now.
As background, I am in NE Ohio and drive a '98 Maxima with a factory Bose stereo. In my car the FM transmitter is better than the cassette adapter as the cassette option seems to pick up a lot of electrical interference from the car.
Hope this review helped :)
not perfect, but it certainly does the job!.......2007-07-17
i recently bought this item, and even though it isn't perfect, it is pretty good. you are able to listen to your tunes in your car without the hassle of changing cds every hour. i would reccomend it to anyone who enjoys listening to their ipod in the car.
** it is easy to use!
Works for Me!.......2007-07-06
I just got my first ipod at age 32! Now I fit right in. :) No really, so I got an ipod and then wanted to immediately wanted to listen to it in my car, so I bought some adaptor from China, one of those big white casing ones, I had a hard time in some cars because of the lighter location and how big the adapter was, well not long, it fell apart. Then I bought a different FM adapter, which kept turning off and on and was like $75. Then I found this one, it was under $50, like $45 or $49 of something like that. It works great, I would like a AC adapter for when I use it at home and places. I put it next to my clock radio at work and in my car and at home near my alarm clock even, I take it with the boomb box to the beach, and to the inlaws with gret party mixes. :) Overall, I think it is great technology and works wonderfully. It is small so I am afraid of loosing it, but other than that, I would highly reccomend this product.
Well Designed, too low power FM.......2007-05-15
This device seems to be well designed and integrated well with my ipod for the few hours I tried it out, but it did not perform up to my expectations. The FM transmitter just does not have enough power to work well in my car. I will be better off sticking with a tape adapter. I returned this item as I couldn't stand the static when using a frequency with nothing neighboring it on either side.
Works well when powered.......2007-02-09
If you can't wire your ipod directly to your stereo, the tuner method is the next best. The belkin comes with a cigarette lighter power adapter. this is great to charge your ipod in the car. it's also great b/c the belkin does not work very well without power. with the adapter the reception on any station is pretty bad but since I only use it in the car- it works quite well even in a crowded urban radio environment. I've tried it in three different cars and the receptio quality certainly differs, so your stereo is a big part of it. the sound quality is great- as good as a decent FM broadcast station. For the price- I'd recommend it if you can't direct wire or want the portability for different cars. I wouldn't recommend it for home use or anywhere you can't use the power adapter.
