I've had silicone covers in the past and never have I experienced the problem I did with this one--every piece of lint, dust, crumb, dirt etc CLINGS to this and I tried wiping it off, but it just slides around. gross! waste of money.
SanDisk E-Series Case.......2007-10-22
This case provides basic protection for your E-series Mp3 however it lacks any type of fastening device to attach it to your person or vehicle.
This problem can be easily remedied by cutting a 1 inch x 2 inch window in the back of the case then sticking a like size piece of male Velcro through the cut out to the back of the Mp3. You can then make a belt loop or arm band out of the female Velcro and attach the device to it. I just use mine while I am driving and find that the Velcro attaches it's self nicely to the cloth seat material in my truck.

I purchased this case to use with the Sansa M200 while running. I actually find it much more useful than the armband that comes with the player, because I can clip it to my water carrier waist band, or even to the waist band of my shorts, and run the earbud cord under my clothes so it's not flapping around while I run. Very pleased!

Trying to get it in and out of a backpack on an airplane, the hard plastic clip tore off and caused another tear in the silicone. Since I was out of the country for some time after, I was unable to return it.

While this is a great case that seems capable of lasting a while, its texture (not surprisingly) is similar to rubber. Thus, if it's attached to your belt and you shift while snuggling with your honey, he/she might have to shift, too, because your MP3 player grabbed him/her. I had read about the cheap case that comes with the Sansa, so I got this case with it. I cut up the cheap case and wrapped it around my MP3 player and then tucked it into the silicone case. This way, I protect my MP3 player from scratches and the weather. I only wish the silicone cases came in more colors (perhaps dark blue).

Seems nice when you first get it. Clip on back is sturdy, buttons still easy to operate. My experience was that the clip was heavy, and tore away from the body of the case. Didn't last one day of bike riding. Like the player, hate the case.

I purchased 3 of these for my husband and 9 year old twin girls. We have had them for 7 months now and they have worked very well. We use Rhapsody to download music. I couldn't justify the money for Ipods and to be honest I don't really think an Ipod would have any better advantage. We were able to purchase a stereo system that allows you to plug in your MP3 player which works great with the Sandisk. We also have been able to play it in our Jeep. It is easy to operate and even with all the songs we have downloaded there is still plenty of room left as it will store 19 hours of songs.

If there is one popular company that does a excellent job at making the best MP3 players on the market, Sandisk is that one. Their Sansa MP3 players work great, but they unfortunately miss out on having a good quality case when you buy the player. This silicone case for their M200 series is sleek and convient. It works great with the M230 512 MB, M240 1 GB and M250 2 GB players. It clips on to your clothes, and you can use it well to help you take along your Sansa with you. I absolutely recommend this as a great add-on if you own the Sansa M200 series players from Sandisk. It really drags along nicely to playback, without any skipping.

Enhances the Sansa M200 Series Players.......2007-06-15
The factory supplied case that comes with the M200 Series players is thin, pliable plastic that makes the unit seem clunky as a whole.
By comparison, this Silicone Case encases the M200 Series Sansa like a Spandex body glove! The player no longer has a rattle, does not seem as clunky, and is protected by the Silicone Case - if you happened to drop the case on the ground.
I did not give 5 Stars because it is not very strong. I suppose it is strong enough, but the reason I am on Amazon here today is to buy another Silicone Case.
The story:
I had this case clipped to my belt loop while riding in the truck this morning. When I got out of the truck, the case snagged on my seat belt and tore through the belt loop.
I probably would not pay an extra $10 for Sansa to include heavy duty fibers inside the Silicone Case to add strength, but I wanted you to know that the case will pull lose.
Overall, I have used my case for about a year now, mostly for in the gym or for running. For those situations, it has been absolutely PERFECT! That's why I am buying another one today - even though my original one broke. :)

I bought this for my daughters 10th birthday and she loves it because it was pink! But it's a nice little case and fit very well. I only gave it four stars because it is a little difficult to work the side buttons because you have to press through the case and sometimes it's not very accurate. But all in all it's great for 10-year-olds!

This silicone case has a texturized-soft feel to it. It looks high-quality, meaning not-cheap. It fits quite snuggly, which protects my MP3 player. And I knew it had a CLIP on the back, because I had purchased a lite-green one of this same type. The Clip securely holds the player no matter if I am jogging or bumping people at the metro station. Great case for clip-wearers!

This rubberized cover works great with the e250 that I bought at the same time. It protects the player from bumps and scratches while still allowing access to the buttons and the screen. The tackiness also helps to keep it from sliding around in the car or on a slick surface.

I have bought 3 of these for our MP3 players. 2 went to my 9 year old twins and 1 to my husband. There MP3 players have gone on vacations, car rides, to the beach ect and the cover has held up well. I love my Sansa. I even bought everyone in my family one for Christmas! But this silicone case is pathetic! I used it one time while exercising. When I tried to unclip it from my shirt, it tore all the way across the back and was unusable. Save your money and just use the arm band that is included with the Sansa.
I'd give this item a zero if that was an option.

I use this Sansa Player in the gym and the silicone case is great for protecting the unit. An added benefit is the attached clip which I hook over the waistband on my shorts. I much prefer this to using an armband to hold the player.

I was very excited to see that my Sansa had a silicone case. The clear plastic sheeting one that comes standard with the Sansa left a bit to be desired.
My new silicone case fits well with the provided armband that came with my player and the case fits nice and snug to the player.
Two concerns:
1. There is no "face guard" for the Sansa. The case simply wraps around the outside (which is probably enough to guard it in most cases).
2. I was VERY DISAPPOINTED when trying to put my Sansa wrapped in its silicone case into my SanDisk Car-FM-Adapter. It doesn't fit. You have to take the player out of the case to get it to fit in the car adapter. Very displeasing, but in the scheme of things - I can deal with it.

The case fits well and stays on the player. The player functions well in the case, the buttons on the side are either accessable or usable through the silicone.
Too bad it makes my 1" mp3 player 1 3/8" thick. The non-removable clip (the source of most of the added thickness), is rigid plastic attached to the sturdy silicone, looks like it will tear the silicone in a few months of regular use unless you're very careful with it and is only so-so at clipping onto things. I got this thinking it would protect my player, I suppose it will protect it from the impact of falls but not from scratches on the screen, the screen is out in the open. The case covers the sides and back of the player, only about 1/8" at the edges of the front is covered.
A thin plastic Sandisk case came with my player (bought in Jan. 2006). I tried putting the silicone case onto the player over the thin case since the thin plastic one covers the screen but big metal snappers on the back stop it from fitting.
