In regards to the two reviews below: I don't know if they changed this product slightly since the introduction of the 2nd gen Nano, but I drove all the way across town to try out the fit at Best Buy based entirely on the reviews of those two who said it didn't fit. It fit great. I then informed the in-laws that this would be an excellent birthday gift to accompany my new Nano. It arrived and it is about perfect for the task at hand. The Ipod is well protected and the belt clip and armband provide choices for use at the gym. So, this is good all the way around. If you guys who couldn't figure out how to insert your Ipod in this thing and then wrote reviews about it read this, contact me, I'll tell you where to send the check for gas money.

iPod nanos should fit on your arm upside down so the trackwheel faces toward you when you lift up your arm. This way, you don't have to twist it around or remove it from the pouch to change a song or volume. This ipod arm band you can wear the ipod upside down on your arm without worrying that it'll fall out since the belt clip has a latch to secure it. You can also wear it secure on your belt if you prefer. I gave it a 4 out of 5 stars since I'm not sure how durable it'll be since the front side is mostly plastic and it'll likely be scratched up in a year or so. but it does look slick when it's brand new like mine is.

I purchased this case along with a Nike+ sensor hoping that it would fit since the case that Nike is selling got poor reviews. The case does fit, although you really have to stretch the neoprene over the bottom of the sensor to get the velcro to catch and hold. It's not bad for something that was not designed for this purpose. I also love the belt clip feature -- I don't have to use the armband if I don't want to. I can also clip the Ipod securely inside my purse while commuting on the subway.

Would have been better off putting it in my pocket without a case.......2007-02-08
I was suckered into buying this case when I first got my 5G iPod about a year ago.
Within about a week I noticed the smudges around the border of the plastic.
Within about a month, there were little smudges on the screen just from the basic pressure of it being in my pocket.
Within 6 months, I couldn't even tell what was on the screen without a blacklight.
I have friends who have had iPods longer than I have, keep it in the case that comes with it or the iPod socks you get for 5 bucks at wal mart, and they look much better than mine.
Now I wish that I didn't even buy the case. One of the coolest things about the iPod is it's sleek, clean look. Now the very thing that was supposed to protect my iPod actually conributed to the crappy, dirty look that it has now.
I essentially paid best buy 30 bucks to smudge my iPod for me. Do not buy this.

I bought this after reading all of the reviews about this scratching your Ipod.
I went and bought an Invisible Shield before using this product so I cannot confirm the scratching theory...though I believe all of these reviewers.
Since I already have the protection I had bought this for the purpose of usability. For me the design is perfect. I also prefer the removable clip cause it is exactly what I needed.
The only con for me...since I don't have the scratching problem...is the fact that the shield over the dial can occasionally be a little non-sensative and needs extra pressure for me to actually control the dial...and at other times it is ultra sensitive and when you want to nudge up the volume it actually jumps because the shield is not as tight to the dial. I think I would actually just rather not have the film there.

pretty much what others say. it scratched the ipod instead of protect it. the reason is the lack of a well thought design. the plastic that protects the screen has a U cut inside, and that U cut is what makes the marks on the ipod
DON'T BUY.......2007-01-04
I bought this case the same day i bought my ipod about six months ago and as soon as i got the ipod i put it in the case
within a month there was noticeable scratches (i never took it out) and within 3 months there was a huge area of scratches around the click wheel. i decided to go back to the default cheap skin that apple gives you with the ipod, and that has protected it BETTER the last three months! There are only a few more scratches that occured while i had it out of the white case

I like this case because its easy to take the iPod in and out- I use a docking station and fm Transmitter in my car so I need the ipod to be used free of the case. I tried the iSkin case but it encloses the iPod completely and does not allow it to be used with docks and fm transmitters. I also tried the 'Vaja' leather case from Covercase but it has no belt clip!
The DLO case has the right padding so the ipod gets the protection it needs from bumps and falls without the adding too much bulk (like the ToughSkin). The belt clip is perfect, comes off with ease and also lets the ipod rotate.
If you can put a protective film(+ $3) on the front and back, it wont scratch your ipod.

The Action Jacket is worth every penny of the $29.95 I paid for it at Best Buy, which makes it an exceptional value at the pice it's offered for on Amazon. It fits the 3G Nano like a glove, protects it from my clumsy handling, and allows me to attach the iPod by clip or or armband, depending on my activity, which is usually at the gym in the free weight room or on the cardio equipment. There's a cut-out for the "tuning wheel", so the jacket doesn't interfere with changing somgs or adjusting volume. I consider the Action Jacket a must-have accessory.

I purchased this item today. The belt clip rotates 180 degrees, however, that 180 is from side-to one end-to side--clumsy--why not 360 degrees? Also, when turning the belt clip, it will easily tear the neoprene unless you open the clip while turning. That was a bit shocking! Perhaps I am more accustomed to sturdier "soft" cases.

Protects IPOD Touch while still allowing functionality. Prior to purchase, I wondered how "touching" through the plastic would work. You need to press a little harder, but the Touch is still responsive. The DLO action jacket feels like it made is of quality materials. The only drawback I have is that the plastic cover sometimes sticks to the Touch screen, giving it that "air bubble" look. Good purchase though. Has slots for on/off button, function button, earphone jack and recharge jack. I would purchase it again if I lost it for some strange reason. Amazon price was less than Best Buy/Circuit City as well.

This one has it all for the all time iPod user. You want your iPod to be fully protected, stylish, and ready to go for any occasion, then you've found your match. Only reason I don't rate this with five stars is sometimes I want to take it out of the case and this is no easy ordeal, not only is it too tight and does the plastic screen cover get stuck to the iPod's multi-touch surface, but I'm also worried it'll scratch up the iPod at some point.
Otherwise, very nice little wrapper ;-)

This holder comes with a clip as well as an armband. Both of which connect to the same holder that the Apple Ipod goes into. The jacket itself is has rubber on the outside so it is very durable and grippy. Overall, This jacket is perfect for those that workout and also walk to work because you can put the clip on your hip and the jacket slides right into the clip for easy access to the control pad.
