Wrong product for Nvidia Geforce 6200, Low Profile .......2007-12-02
I ordered this bracket using the "Better Together" option that Amazon paired with the "Nvidia Geforce 6200, Low Profile Support / 256MB Ddr / Agp 8X /support Dvi, Tv" video card. It is NOT THE CORRECT BRACKET. This bracket is for a video card with the "S-Video" connector located ABOVE the "DVI" connector. This particular NVidia card has the "S-Video" below the DVI, and it does not fit the recommended bracket at all.

I have purchased this bracket for my DELL C521(small form factor system) for my customer's project! This was the part of multi-monitor solution.
It is nicely packed and provides varieties of configuration possible.
Wish it is little bit cheaper. Except the price, the product itself is great solution for low-profile base graphic card.

After searching the internet for a card that would fit into my micro pc I finally bought this product along with the XFX GeForce 6200 256MB DDR2 AGP video card. Whilst I would have preferred not to go throught the process of unscrewing and re-attaching the outlets to the bracket kit and hope that in future more companies offer natural low bracket cards for older systems, the actual installation was a breeze. If you are looking for a solution to low profile and AGP combination this is a great alternative. I wholeheartedly recommend this product.

Great product, great price, and the last of the PCI video cards.......2007-12-25
I searched everywhere for a good PCI video card. I finally found this product. With a good PC you can easily run Roller Coaster Tycoon 3 and Call Of Duty 4 with this video card. Basically I updated because my video card could not run these high end video games. I definitely recommend this video card to those who only can run PCI. Otherwise seek a stronger card if possible.
Radeon to the Rescue!.......2007-12-11
I had all kinds of trouble trying to find the right PCI video card. I tried several different brands, and returned the ones that didn't work well or at all with my Dell Dimension 3000. I had picked up 2 video games and wanted to play them, but they didn't work because my system's video capabilities were not updated enough to handle the technology in the games.
So after trying a few different video cards and having little success, I finally picked up the Radeon X1300 at Walmart, and low and behold the games worked perfectly. You can even adjust the game performance using the VisionTek control panel, so that the game plays better, or the graphics show better, or somewhere in between. I haven't even explored all the bells and whistles of the software that came with the new card, but that's not a problem. As long as my games and other applications work great with this card, I'm a happy computer game playin camper. It works just fine with my Dell, so I'm not sure what other reviewers are talking about. Radeon to the Rescue!! Yeee haaa!
But since most new games require more RAM, make sure you upgrade your RAM before using the card (to match or exceed the RAM of the card). That will definitely help game play. Also, make sure that your CPU clock speed either matches or exceeds the speed of the card so that they are compatible. A slow CPU and a fast video card are NOT a good combination.
PCI-to-PCIe bridge nightmare.......2007-10-14
The PCI-bus version of this card (not the AGP or the PICe) has a very interesting technical challenge.
This card implements a PCI-to-PCI bridge on the board, and, this messes-up a lot of machines.
Normally bridges are on the motherboard, and the BIOS of the motherboard advertises them in the ACPI table.
Since the bridge comes as part of PnP discovery, the resource arbiter must be able to find bus address space for the bridge and the card.
This can be challenging, because BIOS out there are full of bugs, and, the resource abiter must trust the BIOS before the BUS.
The bottom line is: you may not even see the card coming up in device manager, and, you might need to disable other PCI devices to get this to work.
Dell machines are particularly bad on this.
On my HP xw4200 i got to work by removing a 1694 adapter, and by disabling the Memory Setup in the arbiter

Great card if PCI is your only option or if you have a Dell e310 3100.......2007-12-20
I purchased an EVGA 6200 PCI video card, but the card must not have been compatible with my motherboard. I have a Dell e310 (aka 3100), and Dell failed to notify its customers that this model PC only comes with PCI slots (no AGP or PCI-e). I purchased the x1550 for $60 used here through Amazon. The card works great! I have Windows Vista Home Premium, but I could not get the Aero features to work until I got this card. The card boosted my rating to 3.5 or so. The aero features are pretty cool. This is one of the best (if not THE best) PCI cards you can buy.

Problems with Docking Stations.......2007-11-30
I have it plugged into my laptop dock. When installed and running, it is fine. The problem I have is that when it is plugged into the dock, it prevents my system from undocking. It throws up a "you cannot eject your computer error" and specifically mentions the IOGEAR device. Tech support suggested that I plug it directly into the laptop. When I tried to explain that this idea defeats the purpose of a dock, they just repeated their suggestion. They also suggested I load the driver into the dock and not the laptop. I still don't understand that one... Tech support is definitely not there.

IOGEAR USB external video card works far better than expected! My company provided Lenovo X61s laptop only supported 1 external monitor when docked. After installing this external Video card, I now have dual monitors on my desk. It's totally seamless with no speed degradation or loss of video quality. However, under Vista, the Aero Glass and Windows Flip 3D is not supported, or at least not yet. That's a small price to pay for having an additional monitor. You do need Admin rights to install the drivers. I do recommend always pulling the lasted drivers from the website before installing.
Bottom line...works great, easy to install, and is a true value.
Corrupted my video drivers.......2007-09-05
This product had promise for adding a screen to my Lenovo T42 laptop. I installed it per instructions and when I hooked it up, only my laptop LCD display worked. There appears to be an incompatibility between this device and the ATI device drivers. After removing it, I could no longer use the video out on my docking station, "Could not load OEMDSPIF.DLL". After much trial and error, I had to uninstall this software, uninstall the laptop ATI display drivers, then reinstall the ATI drivers, and you can imagine how many reboots and missteps that all took. It was hours before I was able to use my laptop again.
Clearly this product is not for me.

Nice Video Card for the price!.......2007-10-09
NewEgg rocks! I received this card in less then three days. A very nice video card for Vista. I am running Vista Home Premuim and the drivers were already there for me. I just placed the card into the Pcie slot and Vista did the rest. I updated the driver after the install and reran my Vista index. My gaming graphics index jumped! My graphics index didn't move, which I was surprised about. Overall, I am happy with this video card!

The card works well, especially under Vista. Linux support is still pretty bad, but better than an ATI card (though the new drivers from ATI will be changing that). If you want a decent card without spending a lot of money, this will do fine.
