prompt responce .......2007-12-28
The charger never arrived on my initial order. I informed the company by email, and they were very attentive about having another one sent immediately.
Great extra charger.......2007-12-25
Wasn' sure what I was getting even though it was suppossed to be a OEM charger.
For the price I paid w/ shipping I was sceptical. Product is OEM and works just fine !
It Works.......2007-12-21
Bought to use with Motorola W385 phone. It the same as and works just like the unit that came with the phone. Excellent buy!
Never Worked.......2007-12-09
As a common complaint by others, mine never worked with my Razr 3. And for the price, it wasn't worth returning it.
Charger is really an Un-charger.......2007-12-09
Product not only fails to charge my Moto RAZR, it discharges it faster than if I didn't plug it in. Maybe there's some phone it's capable of charging properly, but not the one advertised.n Don't waste your money on this dud product.
Product Description
Its featherweight, compact design is ideal for campers and hikers, and its rugged structure can survive tough treatment. The Motorola Talkabout FV200AA offers a range of up to 5 miles1 for indoor and outdoor communication. With an optional armband and ear buds, the FV200AA is within easy reach, making it perfect for runners, bikers or those who are simply on the go. And with 22 channels and the standard scan feature, this two-way radio makes it easy to stay in touch while you are out and about. The FV200AA uses both FRS and GMRS frequencies providing more channels. This two-way radio requires an FCC license, as do all GMRS two-way radios.
Amazon.com Product Description
The Motorola Talkabout FV200AA GMRS/FRS Two-way Radios, which replaces the T4500 model, offers active families a simple and affordable way to stay in touch. With an improved outdoor range of up to five miles, these sleek and compact, water-resistant radios can fit in the palm of your hand or into a pocket.
The FV200AA features audible call tones that grab the attention of your family and friends before you even start talking. A talk confirmation tone will sound when the push-to-talk button is released -- signaling when the other user has stopped talking. An audible low-battery alert ensures that you'll have plenty of notice that your batteries are running low.
Note: The Federal Communications Commission (FCC) requires that operators on General Mobile Service (GMRS) and Private Land Mobile (PLM) frequencies obtain an FCC license prior to use. To learn more, please visit the FCC web site.
What's in the Box
Two FV200 radios and user's manual.

Great for kids.......2008-01-01
I bought these for my nephews (ages 2 1/2 & 4 1/2) for Christmas. They just love them! And the buttons are easy for them to operate. Plus, they are very durable and rugged. They've already been dropped quite a few times but they continue to work great. They also have a great range with clear reception.
No privacy codes.......2007-05-17
These radios are very similar to the FV200R ones. In fact, on the surface it looks like the only difference is the fact that the FV200R are rechargeable. This is not true though; the FV200R have privacy codes. What this means is that you will only hear broadcasts by the other radio, and not all radios that are using that channel - which can be a lot at a ski resort. This feature will also extend battery life since the speaker won't be active that often.
Another consideration is the transmit power, which is rated at 500mW for these radios. Typically, the range is doubled for a 4-times increase in transmit power. Some two-ways on the market use 1000mW of transmit power. This will increase your range by 50%, but will consume more battery power.
You need to weigh range, battery life and privacy codes when making your decision. Motorola is a very good brand and these are very good radios - as long as you accept their shortcomings.
Picks up too many signals.......2007-01-12
All in all, this isn't a terrible Talkabout 2-way radio...but it picks up every signal around! There just aren't enough channels on this thing. As for the range, you're probably better off getting a 5-mile radius radio, especially if you're skiing around Northstar in Reno! For the price, it isn't a bad radio - but if I had a chance to do it all over again, I'd shell out the money for a better radio.
Fairly cheap.......2006-11-23
The construction is pretty poor in my opinion. Bought these for my boys to play with and they didn't last a month. The boys are 10 and 11. Range is bad, reception is bad, battery life bad.
Not as Expected.......2006-03-23
Range is very weak probably less than half a mile. Don't waste your money.

Motorola H500.......2007-12-24
I had one but ordered this one for my husband to give him freedom while driving and doing chores around the house. He loves his as much as I love mine and now, I dont have to share.
GOOD PRODUCT.......2007-11-25
I bought this to replace another unit that was hurting my ear (one of those that wrap around and have a small, rubber piece that goes inside your ear...).
It is very light and comfortable to wear and with easy access to volume/answer/end/mute buttons.
Sounds good and holds its charge well. The trade-off between this type and those that wrap around your eat is that the former can flop around if you are leaning to one side and/or jogging/running. But, who talks while doing that? On the other hand, I prefer this kind because nothing enters your ear and they are more comfortable to wear for longer periods of time.
I use mine when sitting at the computer and/or doing other tasks around the house or while driving/walking. It works great in any of those scenarios.
Returned Plantronics Voyager 510 and bought Motorola H500.......2007-11-24
Love this headset! As stated above, I returned the Plantronics model that everybody was raving about. The only model more archaic than the Plantronics 510 would have to be one of those hideous Jabra models :)
The Motorola is the headset I wish I'd bought the 1st time around. It is suprisingly comfortable, and doesn't take long to forget you're wearing it. There is no intrusion into the ear canal, allowing full air circulation and unhampered hearing of your surroundings. The earhook is slim and does not interfere with wearing sunglasses, which is something I can't say about the Plantronics 510.
Pairing was a snap with my Sanyo 7050 Mil-Spec phone.
I was willing to spend more for a headset, however this one meets my needs. I'm happy!
Love it!.......2007-11-21
This is the best bluetooth I have owned. Sound is clear and I rarely lose the connection like I have with previous units. Highly recommend it.
not as i expected.......2007-11-20
i ordered this product expecting a new one(as mentioned), but instead i received a used product, with a flimsy packing. they did not even send me a sales receipt.this product looks like a refurbished one, which was not mentioned intially.otherwise it works ok.

Motorola Cable Modem.......2007-12-24
This is the easiest setup I have ever experienced. All I had to do is call my cable provider and give them the mac address listed on the modem and I was in business. Great buy! Great Product!

Motorola Surfboard cable modem.......2007-12-23
Switched out a rebuilt modem that needed to be reset by the cable company occasionally. This is a GREAT modem! No problems and it is reliable and easy to set up and use. Good user interface.
delivery.......2007-12-21
The product is just great but the delivery of an order has gotten to be just terrible, this item was not shipped until after the date that I was given for delivery. I have bought from Amazon a lot of times but the shipping of my orders has gotten very bad and I now look other places to order from and go to Amazon as a last resort.
Easy Install, Increased Speed.......2007-12-21
The Comcast supplied modem I was using was dropping off line randomly, and always at the worst times. After doing some research (while on hold to Comcast's Help Desk) I decided to buy my own modem. I have no idea why I have not done this already. It pays for itself in 8 months and I had my last modem for three years....
Great modem, simple set up. The hardest thing was trying to explain to the Comcast tech that I was on an IP phone, and when he registered the new modem I would be disconnected, so he better get all the info he needs now. Of course he did not get all the info he needed from me before disconnecting the old modem, so we were cut off and I had to call them back on my cell...I digress, the SB5101 is a fine modem. it's been running for two weeks now without an issue. Buy it! It will save you money!
Very good cable modem.......2007-12-01
I have been a Comcast high-speed Internet customer for about 5 years. The modem Comcast provided as part of a package deal was a Motorola Surfboard 4100. About 4 months ago, I noticed that I was getting barely more than 1/2 the speed I was paying for, which was 6Mbps. I complained to tech support. They sent a technician out and within 3 sec. after walking into my office, he said, "Oh...I know exactly what the problem is; you have an 'end-of-life' modem. You need to upgrade to a 2.1 DOCSIS modem, and I would recommend a Motorola Surfboard as one of the best." So I got on my favorite shopping site, Amazon, and bought one. Not only did it work perfectly from day one, my average download speed on Speakeasy.net is ~22Mbps -- almost 6 1/2 times what I was getting with the old Surfboard -- and the upload speed increased from ~364Kbps to ~1.6Mbps.
Would other brands do as well? Probably, but I stuck with Motorola because the last one was 100% reliable; never had a problem. The only reason it was not delivering the speed is because Comcast's system had changed and the old modem's software could not keep up with it. I also like the fact that Motorola moved the standby button to the top where it is more easily accessible. I have a new Vista computer and have to put the modem on Standby after putting the computer to sleep, because (not sure why) Internet activity tends to wake it back up.
I found it disappointing that Comcast apparently does not alert its customers when their modems are obsolete. If you're having a similar problem, check with your ISP. If you need to upgrade your modem, I highly recommend this one.

Customer Reviews:
Good choice.......2007-12-18
Bought this as a gift for my dad. The price was very good and Midland quality is excellent. Its a nice compact setup with all the basic options you should need. The only complaint is I wish it would be offered as a set with an antenna. Which I purchased seperately at Radio shack.
cb radio.......2007-12-08
this is a very good radio, espically for the money, installs almost anywhere, and the inline fuse that comes with it a nice add on. finding appropriate wiring for the antenna can be challanging if your local radio shack is umm...full of very "helpful" people... but its not hard... highly recomended
Great cheap cb radio!.......2007-11-19
This is the best cb radio for your value. This rivals the cheaper cb units in the 60-70 dollar range. The RF gain is not found on other units until you get to the $100 range. It is nice and compact and has pretty good volume output from the internal speaker. The only thing I don't like is the channel selector knob. The knob is not very fine tuned. Sometimes I hit it and it just starts going through all of hte channels like a scan but its not. But, you learn to deal with it and after awhile I know how it is and it works fine. Otherwise it is a great cb radio.
Remember though, the antenna and ground plane make most of the difference in range, the mic in clarity, and the radio is just a vessel. Plus a good swr tune does wonders as well.
SWCOP.......2007-10-20
The best cb ever had one long time ago be watching all you on the road!!
Good value.......2007-10-02
I use mine for clasics VW club road trips, is useful and the best value for a economic brand new cb.

Amazon.com Product Description
Perfect for outdoor enthusiasts who often get separated from their groups, such as mountain bikers, serious hikers, and whitewater rafters, this pair of Motorola rechargeable two-way radios keeps you connected from up to 12 miles away (based on terrain and conditions). The wide-ranging signal also works for more pedestrian tasks, such as keeping tabs on the kids while they're playing at a friend's house or calling your pals in the lodge while you're skiing on the slopes. Each radio comes equipped with 22 channels--including eight GMRS (General Mobile Radio Service), seven FRS (Family Radio Service), and seven GMRS/FRS combo channels--giving you plenty of frequencies on which to communicate. The radios also receive a National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration channel, which delivers up-to-the-minute storm warnings--a must for mountain climbers. And thanks to the rugged housing, convenient side grips, and included holsters, you'll enjoy quick, constant access to the radios in the midst of almost any activity.
To ensure that your conversation is always between you and your mates, Motorola included 121 privacy codes, which, when added to the 22 channels, gives you 2,662 options for exclusivity. The Priority Scan function lends a hand by searching for the most private channels in crowded environments, as does the Quiet Talk feature, which filters the signals from other radios to ensure an interruption-free conversation. And unlike the walkie-talkies of old, the Talkabout's signal is always strong, employing a Motorola-exclusive digital technology to filter out the static between words. This allows the radio to deliver noticeably clearer transmissions. Other bonuses include 10 distinct call tones, so your group can identify who's calling at a given time, along with a talk confirmation tone that lets others know when you've finished talking.
All Motorola two-way radios are also designed with compatibility in mind. The radios can communicate with other Talkabout models when set to the same channel/code sequence, or with competitors' products provided the channel and code sequences are compatible. Additional features include a backlit LED display that's easy to read even in dark environments, an audible low battery alert and battery meter, a keypad lock, and a VibraCall vibrating alert.
The SX700R radios come ready for recharging, with a pair of Motorola NiMH battery packs and a dual desktop charger. The battery packs offer approximately 7 hours of two-way use per charge. As an alternative, users can pop in a quartet of AAA alkaline (high capacity) batteries.
Note:
The Federal Communications Commission (FCC) requires that operators on General Mobile Service (GMRS) and Private Land Mobile (PLM) frequencies obtain an FCC license prior to use. To learn more, please visit the FCC web site.
What's in the Box
Two SX700R two-way radios, 2-pocket desktop charger, two NiMH battery packs, two replaceable faceplates, two holsters, user's manual.
Customer Reviews:
Walkie talkie.......2007-12-30
These are great, have used them for a year now and no problems....in fact I bought another pair for a friend for Christmas this year. We use them while going to and from car shows and cruise inns to communicate, we are seldom more than a mile apart and have saved a lot of trouble by being able to talk to each other
Paintball: Works well in the woods.......2007-12-05
I bought the Talkabout SX700R to use for scenario paintball and the SPPL, and I have been pleased with it. I carry it on my (on-gun) tank so I can use it while aiming. It is easy to push the buttons with gloves on, I can hear what everyone is saying (as long as I don't put it in my pants pocket) and I can quickly and easily turn the volume up and down. Plus, I can set it to vibrate when I get a call, so I can turn off the alert. The field I usually play is about 400 acres, laid out long and narrow. I can easily get a hold of teammates that are 1/4 mile away from me through the trees. I haven't had to try it much further than that. I never have break-up when people talk, though if they aren't holding thier radios correctly they can be hard to understand. The radio is sealed well. It has been shot, dropped on the ground, dropped in mud, etc. and always works. The clips are kind of junk, though. I broke one already.
All in all, I can recommend this radio for paintball.
Spartan-Chicago Heretics
Range not as advertised.......2007-08-27
This 2-way radio boasts a (up to) 12mile range, you will be lucky if you can get 1 mile under optimal conditions. Ignore range claims and go for the cheaper radio, the transmit power on all these radio's are identical.
talkabout SX700R.......2007-08-10
This product works as advertised. The sound is crystal clear. I have not had the opportunity to use them in a more rural setting which is when you will achieve the maximum talk distance. In the city, depending on building location, you can get 1-2 miles of range. They will come in handy during the hunting season.
Info about range claims.......2007-08-05
When looking at FRS/GMRS Radios radios ignore the marketing ploys that tell you the range of the radios (12 miles, 18 miles, 22 miles). All of the radios sold to the general public (except high end models- over $100 per individual radio) have the same power output rating- 1/2 a watt for FRS and 2 watts for GMRS. All other things being equal- every radio will have the excact same range. Why do you think that the more expensive the radio the farther a range the manufacturer says it has? Because they want you to THINK a more expensive radio has a farther range so you will buy the more expensive one. But they all have the same power output- meaning they will essentially have the same range. This is all a marketing PLOY to get you to buy a more expensive radio. A more expensive radio may have more features, but if the power output is the same the range will essentially be the same. You can look for the power output on the manufacturer's website, but I have researced this already- almost all models sold to the general public have 1/2 a watt for FRS and 2 watts for GMRS. With the power rating being the same the things that will affect range are antenna size, height of the transmitter, and terrain- usually things you will have little control over. So buy a radio that has the features and size you want and ignore the marketing ploys about the range.

When using this headset your voice sounds low and muffled on the other side. Seems to be like a poor microphone quality.
Clear and Loud sound.......2007-09-16
I was so happy with first purchase, had to buy another just so I had two! The sound quality is higher than any I've tried. I actually need to turn volume down on my phone which is unusual. No problems so far.

If you are looking for a simple cell phone headset that won't cost you a lot, get this one. I was tired of holding my hot phone up to my face for hours a day so I bought this for $0.01 plus shipping. While it's clearly not as fancy as some of the Bluetooth headsets, it does a good job. Everyone has been able to hear me just fine, and I can hear them just as well as I ever could.
Excellent device!.......2007-01-21
I have been quite impressed by the audio clarity of this Motorola hands-free headset. For all the talk about bluetooth headsets, none comes close to this when it comes to voice clarity, sending or receiving.
Also, the ear bud makes it a comfortable wear.
This device is like a Toyota Camry. It does the job to perfection. You couldn't ask for anything more reliable.

Customer Reviews:
Product Doesn't Work.......2007-12-27
The handset arrived and it does not work. I tested it several times - absolutely nothing came out of the ear piece. I tried a different headset as a test and that one worked, so this one is faulty. A total waste of money. Given that I have to pay for the return packaging and postage, not even worth returning. A complete waste.
Non-functional.......2007-12-04
Returned this headset to Amazon after five minutes of testing. There volume just wasn't there. I have normal hearing and could not make out anything the other person said.
What a HUGE dissapointment........2007-10-27
I really ought to know better than to buy ANYTHING without spending a week finding every review out there, but I got lazy on something that cost $6 to my door.
About the only thing this has going for it is that it uses a mini USB for direct connection to the phone, and even that has an issue. The wire comes out facing the Bottom of the phone, which means it has to make a 180* bend when the phone is in a belt clip or a number of the other cases out there.
Past that the ear piece is WAY too huge for any normal ear, and this from someone who's had a hard time finding ear pieces big enough in the past. My wife, on the other hand, could almost use the thing like a traditional phone handset (holding onto it). Yes, it's That huge. And for all the size, there's no sound quality... I thought I had a tin can with a string attached up to my ear.
As my entrance to headsets (my wife has soething different for her phone and I liked it the one time I've used that, she Loves it), I'm hugely dissapointed and doubt I'll bother ever trying again. Phone is NOT that important.... if it's important, the caller can leave a voice mail and wait for me to finish driving to call back. And I'm not touching BlueTooth... I have too many electronics that need charging, no sense in adding something else.
If you can live without talking on the phone Constantally, then skip this POS. It's not even worth it if it were free.
an okay item.......2007-10-20
This is an okay item as far as its price concerned.
The earpiece is larger than normal size and customers might have a hard time tugging it into the ear.
Wish I'd come to Amazon first.......2007-09-16
I bought my first one at a car wash for $20+ with tax. It didn't work. You could not hear anything from the earpiece and the person you call could not hear you clearly or easily. They complained of scratching and crackling sound and very low volume. I returned it to the car wash for a replacement and this second headset seems to be working okay. We'll see for how long... Like I said, I would have been much less upset if I had only paid $0.01 for it, because from the look of the other reviews that's about how much it's worth.

Amazon.com Product Description
The Plantronics MX150 noise-canceling mobile headset combines the company's proprietary Flex Grip design with advanced microphone technology to deliver a discreet, stable, and high-quality headset. The MX150 is compatible with most headset-ready mobile devices, including models made by Motorola, Samsung, LG, and Kyocera.
The headset's bendable noise-canceling boom mic is designed to provide an optimal fit and high clarity just about anywhere, and the headset's Flex Grip design permits one-handed placement in your ear.
One-touch call answer/end and voice-activated dialing are available for most popular Nokia and Motorola phones, though be aware that voice-activated dialing must be supported by your phone or service for this feature.
The headset uses a standard 2.5 mm input in an L-shaped configuration that limits wear and tear.

Comfortable and clear as a bell.......2007-12-29
I needed a new headset...my sister purchased the same one and recommended it. It's very comfortable and it's clearer than talking through the phone itself; very happy with the price and product.
Exceeds Expectations.......2007-11-21
Plantronics MX150 Flexible Boom Headset with 2.5 mm Plug Plantronics MX150 Flexible Boom Headset with 2.5 mm Plug
I use this all the time. it is so comfortable that you forget you are wearing it. the ear piece is very comfortable, and the mic is wonderfully sensitive.
the only improvement I could suggest would be a "answering" button on the line from phone to ear piece/mic...
Comfortable Headset.......2007-10-24
The headset fits comfortably in my ear. The sound is great. I highly recommend it.
Good value for the money.......2007-10-24
This is a good value for the price paid. However, even though the product seems new, there was not formal packaging. It just came in a sealed small plastic bag. I don't remember anything that showed me the product was new, which is what I wanted. I must say, though, it is working fine so far.
Plantronics MX150 Head Set.......2007-10-16
I was very disappointed with the audio quality. I do not use this item.
