Works but not so clear instructions.......2007-12-29
Had to get .pdf from motorola because the instructions that came with unit were incorect. Thank God for the internet. Device works perfectly
H700 is very good product.......2007-12-27
This headset was a perfect match in color for the KRAZR in red...easy to sync up and simple 4 step instructions are included. Easy to hook on your ear - so light you don't know its there! The flip on / flip off feature is great, espec. for my mom - she likes the ease of use, no confusing buttons for on/off. You can easily adjust the volume on the unit. FYI - you need to charge the headset right out of the package, then setup and use. I got the same 700 unit in plum and it sync'd up with a LG phone just as easy! Minor comment, but I think this is typical of all headsets - sometimes people say I sound like i'm in a tin-can...or the mic is so sensitive that it picks up way too much background noise and the background noise is too much.
As Good As It Looks.......2007-10-29
I have spent hundreds of dollars on Bluetooth headsets over the past few years. It seems as though I am buying a new wireless headset for my cell phone at least once a year. Now that my wife and oldest daughter have Bluetooth enabled cell phones, I find myself buying a new headset every few months. I have tried several makes and models and I have found that I usually prefer the Motorola models the best. The H700 is no dissapointment. I bought this Fire Red model for my wife, to match her new Samsung U470 "Juke" cell phone. The color match isn't perfect (I think the Fire Red is made specifically for the Moto Krazr) but the deep, metalic red is as close as I could find in the Motorola line.
The H700 will impress most people right out of the package. The primary function button (the big button on the face of the unit) is surrounded by a LED lit ring. The cool part is this ring displays several different colors of light; each having its own meaning. When you are charging the headset the LED will be lit a steady Red, if the battery level is less than 80% charged. It will change to a steady Yellow if more than 80% charged. It will turn to a steady Green once the battery is fully charged. The light will be a steady Purple while in pairing mode and will give a slow pulsing Blue color when connected to a call. The Blue pulse is much quicker when in standby mode (not on a call).
The headset can be used on either your left or right ear and is very simple to operate. Pairing this headset with your Bluetooth device is effortless. My favorite feature of this headset is the lack of a power button. That's right, you don't have to remember to turn the headset on or off. To turn it on you simply flip open the boom mic. To shut it off you obviously flip the boom mic back to the closed position. It's that simple; no holding a tiny power button in for several seconds to turn it on and off, like most other headsets require. This unit is extremely light and comfortable to wear for extended periods of time. The soft, flexible earhook holds the headset securely to the ear, allowing the speaker to rest gently against your ear. It is so light that many people may feel as though the headset will fall off easily. Although tipping your head at an extreme angle will allow the speaker to pull away from your ear slightly, the earhook prevents it from falling off. Even when the speaker falls slightly away from your ear, you can still hear the audio quite well. The audio quality of the speaker is quite good, although lacking some depth in the frequency range. The output quality of the mic seems pretty good as well; as many of my family members and friends have reported after I called them. Background noise picked up in the boom mic is present but minimal. The H700 is rated for 6 hours of talk time and 130 hours of standby time. I talk on mine about an hour per day (Monday through Friday) and I only charge it once per week.
I have not found ANY Bluetooth device to be without flaws. The reception of this H700 is better than many but still produces static and pops when moving away from cell phone more than 8 to 10 feet. I am a bit dissapointed with Bluetooth wireless technology overall. Even the claimed range of 30 feet seems a bit low, considering most of today's cordless devices work flawlessly at much greater distances. With Bluetooth you are lucky to get 10 to 15 feet before the reception starts to break up, and between 20 and 30 feet you will usually find your signal dropping out entirely. This is why Bluetooth wireless keyboards and mice will never replace the 2.4 GHz USB technology that has been proven to work so well in the consumer computer market. The Motorola H700 headset works as well, if not better, than many other Bluetooth models on the market today. I am giving this model 4 stars (actually I consider it to be 4 and 1/2 stars) and would highly recommend it to others. My biggest complaint is the cost of this Fire Red colored model. I paid nearly $70 for this color and yet I ordered another H700 in the standard black and silver color for only $32. So the color alone demanded an extra $36! The metalic blue, plumb, and gold colored versions sell for a premium as well. I guess we just have to accept paying more for the added style that these other colors provide. =o)
Doc's Review.......2007-10-17
This being my second Bluetooth I was very impressed with the simplicity of paring it straightforward operation. I doint like to have to remember a lot of steps to operate something so this was a no brainer.
Great product at a good price.......2007-09-30
I really like the folding mike boom; I not one of those that walks around with a permanent bluetooth headset blinking on their ear. I keep the H700 in my pocket, and when I get a call simply reach for the headset...open the boom...and answer the call. I also like the volume that you can crank this thing up to; I usually have trouble hearing with back ground noise (i.e. my truck going down the road) but have no trouble hearing the calls with the H700. I also like the burgundy color vs the standard Moto gray.

A good product, clear reception and only complaint is the earpiece is a tad too big for my ear.....but it will accomadate a big eared person so that is good.
Comfortable & Good Sound.......2007-11-22
I have no complaints what-so-ever with this product. Very comfortable, I don't have to recharge too often and it's easy-on, easy-off boom is very nice. I've been told that I am clear and am easily understood, with only a bit of road noise in the background. Nice and small - too bad it doesn't come with a little case, as it tends to get lost in my purse when I'm not using it!
Excellent........2007-09-22
Very easy to set up for such a high tech device. I love it very much. Very light and extremely easy to operate. A wonderful headset.
fast service.......2007-07-16
Packed in original packaging, works great and is very compact. I like the folding on/off option so you can tell when the device is off. Holds a charge for a long time.

Bad battery life.......2008-01-02
Was disappointed to find that this headset had very poor battery life. Longest time it has held a charge without having to be re-charged is 3 hours.
Dave A.......2007-12-27
Great product for the price. It works well, and beats using the wired headset that comes with most phones. Motorola headsets are a plus for people with Motorola cell phones that use the USB wall charger because the headset comes with the same wall charger, so you only need to bring one charger for both devices when you travel.
Too little juice.......2007-11-17
There are good things to say about the H350. It is light and simple to use. I liked the flat ear piece and found the ear attachment loop to be convenient.
However, it simply doesn't hold a charge long enough to make it worth purchasing in my opinion. I can't rate it more than a 2. I also have the Plantronics Voyager 510 in the car and it is well worth the extra money. The last thing about the Motorola H350 is that the lack of a boom makes it just a little inconvenient for people to hear me.
It isn't a horrible product, but limited battery power is enough to make me return this.
good product.......2007-10-30
i bought this blue tooth and i love it, it doesnt fall off your ear like other blue tooths ive used. its clear and ive never had 1 person not understand me. its very good for 30 dollars
good but not perfect........2007-10-27
Works very well, the only problem is once in a while it tens to malfunction and refuse to connect, but it seems to be working well now.
Customer Reviews:
Oh well, live and learn :(.......2007-12-02
Performs so badly, no one could "hear me now!!" Uncomfortable too, but I could live with that. ended up ripping the rubber out of the little hole at the bottom hoping folks could hear me but all that did was make the background noise worse. Don't waste your money.
Minor design flaws keep it from being perfect.......2007-04-05
This is a nice device. It looks very sharp in white and matches my white Katana. Here's my only real complaint: When I bought my headset, I also bought a little black belthook carrying case. I turn off my headset and stick it in the carrying case on my hip...now all I have to do is lean against something by accident and the headset turns on because the on/off button is so prevalent. Moto could have done a little better job designing the button so that it would have to be intentionally pushed to turn on.
The Best Mobile Invention thus far.......2007-03-18
This is the first ear piece I have been able to use, effectively. It does not effect the volume I have to speak or the volume of the person to whom I am speaking. I simply LOVE it. It came just in time for my birthday.
I LOVE IT.......2007-03-05
I had purchased a cheaper headset that was highly rated and it was tinny sounding and people were alweays complaining they couldn't hear me. Finally I gave it away and bought this one. It's only "defect" is it doesn't come with a case or clip and has no place for a lanyard.
Bluetooth headset.......2007-02-13
Electronically, this device is excellent. Ergonomically, it's so-so. The on/off/hangup/etc control is difficult to locate when the device is on the ear. The button should be raised or embossed or have hair so that it could be located more easily.

Motorola PEBL U6 swivel holster.......2006-07-03
Having owned a similar holster for a Motorola MPX220, I thought this holster would work out very well. It does handle the job of securing the phone firmly and ratchets in 6 positions however unlike the MPX220 holster you cannot open the phone while in the holster. The top locking tabs at first does not fit the phone well, you must force the phone into place. The tabs tend to catch on the rubber cover for the power cord input, you cannot charge it while in the holster unlike the MPX220 holster design. Overall its serviceable and does the job, but I was disappointed that it was not a bit more versatile. Its not the holster's fault though, more of a design flaw of the PEBL in order to keep it sleek and uniform I suppose (that and that you need a new type of charger input.)

Just ok.......2007-11-30
For the most part I am happy with this headset. It's very comfortable to wear, even for extended periods of time. It is also very simple to use. It sometimes cuts out though throughout use making conversations difficult at times. I guess you get what you pay for though considering this is one of the cheaper models.
OK, Shipment.......2007-10-19
My bluetooth was shiped to me on time but I was disapointed that it did not come with an instruction booklet.
great.......2007-10-06
I like the motorola bluetooth headset. It matches perfectly with my phone. The clarity is good. I would recommend this product to others.
Useless.......2007-09-14
I hate this thing! It takes forever to connect to your phone - IF it connects at all! Going "wireless" was much more frustrating than having the wire attached to your phone. I wish I never bought it!
Headset turns itself on!.......2007-08-11
I liked the look of the headset because it matched my phone. However, the unit turns itself on when it is in my purse and will occasionally dial the last number I dialed in the phone while in my purse. The sound volume is poor unless surroundings are quiet and I usually want to use it when I'm in my car. I will go with a plantronics even though it doesn't look as good.

Customer Reviews:
Disappointed with the Motorola SX 800R.......2007-11-30
This is the 2nd set of Motorola Radios I have tried over the last few years. The 1st pair I sent back (don't remember the model) & I would have sent these back had I not been so busy at the time. I like the size & features of these but they didn't have enough volume & very limited talking distance. We used them on vacation while traveling & talked back & forth to each other in different cars & we could talk up to 1-1.5 miles. I have an older set of Talkabouts I've had for about 10 years & they are still better than the SX 800Rs. They are much clearer & although they are only rated for 2 miles they out perfom the SX 800Rs which are rated for 16 miles. I bought the newer ones for the rechargable battery packs & thought I would be able to talk farther distances. I use them mostly for hunting & they are pretty much useless in the woods over a few hundred yards. Save your money & buy the Midland GXT850VP4. I'm sorry Motorola but you can do better than this.
Motorola walkie talkies.......2007-05-25
Range is not as good as claimed. Volume needs to be louder. Fully charged batteries last a long time.
The first Motorolas I do not like.......2007-05-12
Just when I thought Motorola was infallible. These radios are terrible. Totally unreliable. They stop functioning long before the batteries die. You try to key up to talk, but instead you are interupted with a beep and you find that you aren't transmitting. We learned the hard way on a trip to Baja. Also, they take the more expensive and harder to find AAA batteries instead of AA. There are many great choices by Motorola, but these aren't one of them!
I don't happy with this Product. I not recomend to buy.......2007-04-10
I thougth that de signal is powered, to rise 16 miles, but it's not real. And the comunication is good only in open staces, like one in front of the other. Anything that is in middle of the recievers, cause interference or bad comunications.
Very clear good distance.......2007-04-02
If my wife can use it it's easy! i bought 'em for a motorcycle trip. They are perfect for use with the guy that have communication systems. I didn't have a system I just wanted to be able to listen. With a good headset I'm clear and I hear my buddies clear. 5 stars!

AAYN4264 Original Motorola Silver 2.5 Universal Handsfree Ear Bud.......2007-01-04
This product does exactly what it tells you it does. It is very cheaply priced compared to most of them out there, it works well, and does exactly what it should. I mostly use this item while in my car, I do have a little background noise now and then but it is very minimal. I would prefer that the ear piece were smaller it does hurt if I wear it for a long period of time, but I don't prefer this type of ear bud of any kind anyway. For the price it is a great product, buy it here if you plan to get one, don't pay more for it elsewhere.

OK, but not good.......2007-10-04
Product is an old model and has flaws with sound quality both at the headset and transmitted to the other side. Feels fairly flimsy. You can get comparably priced headsets with much better quality nowadays.
So so.......2007-05-21
I will not recommend this product. It works fine but with poor voice quality. The battery runs out so faster and you need to recharge it pretty much every day.
Bulky ear piece.......2007-03-12
I found this headset to be quite bulky with the mouthpiece that sticks out. I returned it and went with another Motorola model.
