This is a really good printer for the money, but if your looking for a printer specifically for printing pictures this would not be a good buy. The pictures come out ok, but my mother-in-law has a printing doc for her kodak easyshare camera and that's way better then this. This printer is easy to setup, easy to use, reasonable price wise, but it's not the best for picture printing.

To be able to print very good photos, scan documents easily, and get sharply printed documents from ink jets (in color no less) for under a hundred bucks is amazing to me. My machine operates flawlessly. Con: Ink runs out rather quickly especially in color, so pick your must color docs wisely. Cartridges aren't cheap.

A very great printer........2007-08-01

This printer is very well worth it. It prints and scans very nicely. No paper jams, no ink smearing. The best thing about it is that this printer's drivers do not override the spoolsv.exe like many other printers do(cough*lexmark*cough). This means that this printer will not at all bog down the computer and works efficiently. The only *slight* drawback is that this printer uses quite a bit of ink to clean itself. I had only cleaned it once, and printed 2 colour images and a good chunk of the colour ink was gone. It also seems to clean itself everytime you turn it on. All in all though, it was a very good deal and is reccommended.

Really happy with it, worked great for a month or so...then it started jamming after every page. Plus the ink cartridges are small and expensive. Didn't get more than half a ream of paper per cartridge (@$30 each) with it set on mid-quality.

After a month of fighting with it (another great labor and time saving device), I tossed it and bought a decent B/W laser printer/scanner/copier with a 3500 page refillable cartridge. Cost more, but cheaper (and less painful) in the long run.

This phone was nothing but a headache. Battery didn't last over night. Range distant was very short (couldn't step outside or in garage). Phone had to be set on base perfectly or it wouldn't charge. Easy to hang up when trying to balanced from shoulder to ear. Was returned within a week.

I have had this phone for about two months now and am pleased, altho I have since seen it priced cheaper elsewhere. I needed it because of my 2.4 GHz phone was interfering with my wireless network (or vice versa, I am not sure which). I have had no problems at all with the volume and it takes up very little room in my study, which is what I wanted. Overall, a very nice phone.

change. It also had many dead spots. Okay near the base. Why
get a cordless phone??? Okay we do have wireless internet,
but the more expensive 5.8GHz is not suppose to interfere with this.

It works.......2006-11-26

Well I have had this phone for a couple of weeks now. Like the title says, it works. Nothing special about it, it does what its supposed to do, so thats good. A couple things that I didnt realize before purchasing are that there is no backlight for dialing besides the talk button. (this was totally an oversight on my part, not a misrepresentation of the phone). I also have a blocked phone number, in order to unblock it I have to dial *82. I normally store frequently dialed numbers with the *82 prefix into memory. I am unable to do this on this phone, because the * key, doubles as an exit key. Also the display is not the clearest. It is a 3 line display, the top line indicates time/date/call #, the bottom line indicates callers name. These are both in an easy to read bold face font. The middle line which indicates the phone number is in a totally different font that is hard to read. Size and reception of this phone are good. It also has a message waiting indicator light. Overall the phone is an ok choice.

I bought this computer with high hopes. So far, it's been nothing but a disappointment. I've had nothing but trouble with the wireless card, as well as the ethernet card. After 2 months of frustration, I've finally shipped the unit back to HP for repairs. I am giving the thing to my nephew. I am getting another Sony.

Reliablity and Speed.......2007-11-20

I purchased this elsewhere just before school started, at a deep discount. I have to say I have no real gripes. The sound is excellent and the screen is one of the nicest screens I've ever seen on a laptop (seen hundreds). Now there are a few minor things that annoy.

For one, I am OCD when it comes to fingerprints. This laptop seems to attract them more then anything ive used, especially on the lid. Another minor grip is the fact that the battery lasts on average 1.5 hrs for me. I read the crappy battery life is common among this model. Highly reccomend picking a a 9-cell.

good looks, and awesome screen, however, if you touch it, the fingerprint is there until you really rub it off (can only see fingerprint if light is shining on the screen directly)-can see fingerprints very easily all around machine. great keyboard and volume control on the top. vista is not so good-annoying-kills battery life-slows computer down. battery stinks- maybe 1 1/2 max-w/ power saver, screen down to no brightness and performance at lowest possible.tons of grippes on bottom-2 headset jacks-comes w/ a lot of junk-hd only 140gb even though they say 160gb-graphic card not so good-easy on/off switch for wireless

I brought this as a package with a printer and bag. It has a 160 gig drive with 2 gig memory. The screen is excellent, Vista Premium Home actually works quite well on it and it runs as fast as XP did on my previous one with 1 gig memory. Not too much 'crapware' included either. DVD burns quickly. Only fault I have found is the top does not actually lock into place. Very stange feature to lack in a notebook.

Complete review for model DV6425.......2007-10-16

This is a review for the DV6425 US model. First, let me point out some sweet details:

Design: Beautiful laptop, HP's fine imprint finish is really nice, and the Piano Black Color is elegant, it always gets looked at in public places.

Screen: Simply perfect display. Really good resolution and colors.

Media navigation: The keys on the keyboard for media accessing are simply excellent, it's like an ipod, you just need to put your finger on the play button without pressing and it starts playing, same for volume control, just slide your finger from one side to another. Really nice detail.

Now, let's talk about the tech specs.

Processor: Really good. Performance could be compared to a Pentium IV with 3.72Ghz of speed. Its dual core processors make multitasking really easy and smooth. I would REALLY recommend getting this model instead of the DV6426 with Intel, because this is a 64 bit processor, and with time, when theres enough 64 bit software, this laptop will be a bullet, while the Intel one, with its 32 bit processor will stay behind.

RAM: If you install Windows XP and get rid of Vista, the 1GB that comes with the laptop is more than enough. However, considering that Vista uses OVER 500MB of Ram just for the OS, trying to play games at the same time is really hard, because it sucks most of the RAM memory. If you plan on playing a lot on this, get either XP or 2GB of ram for 80 bucks (use the kingston memory finder on this page to find the right one for you).

Hard Drive: Not much to say, enough room for a LOT of stuff! 160GB is very good.

Video Card: Definitely not a Highlight of the laptop. Is comes with 64 MB of dedicated memory with UP TO 287MB of shared memory, meaning it takes the rest from the laptops RAM memory. Again, if you plan on keeping Vista and playing games on this, GET 2GB OF RAM, else it wont be able to get more power from the Laptops ram memory (thanks to Vista's RAM abuse). But then again, compared to the DV6426's Intel 950 Integrated video card, you would really prefer to get this one (Nvidia Geforce Go 6150).

I gave it 4/5 not because of problems with the laptop, but i would have loved that instead of coming with 2 512MB RAM sticks it would come with a single 1GB stick, making upgrading cheaper.

One more thing: HP's online support is excellent. I sent them an email with some questions about the camera and they assisted me in every possible way, giving me some very good updates for the BIOS, even though i didn't even request it. Now my laptop works better ;).

This bag is perfect for what it is intended for: light duty travel for a compact/mid-size D-SLR with standard zoom lenses. I have a Rebel XTi and the Sigma 18-200mm DC OS zoom. It is an excellent fit even with the lens hood on (reversed of course).

Others that have reviewed have complained that the bag is not big enough. Well, get a bigger bag! If you need more room to carry bigger or more lenses, then there are many other bags that will suit your needs. It's like buying a pair of gloves and complaining that they're not big enough for your hands - buy a larger pair!

The build quality is top notch, as well as the aesthetics. I really like how the all-weather cover is built in and attached to the bag so you don't loose it and that way it's ALWAYS with you when you need it. One cool feature that I love are the four memory card slots. CF cards fit securely in them.

Again, this bag is perfect for my camera and accessories for light travel. Whenever I need to go on long hauls/expeditions and I need more room for all of my equipment, then I use my backpack.

How do I say this without being to harsh? This Lowe Pro is great for packing a lunch. You'll be alright if all you put in this case is an SLR or a Coolpix size camera. Or 3 lenses. That's what I use it for. 2 lenses and a Vivitar flash for my FEs. Someone else mentioned ATAN bags. It broke my heart when they went out of businees. If you're serious and have a lot of equipment, look no further than a Billingham camera bag. Pricey, but sensational. And let's face it, you want the best for your equipment. So leave this bag for the lunch bunch and head for higher ground.

Best for a small DSLR and 1 or 2 lenses.......2007-07-12

This bag is pretty tight; I don't like extra space that I'm not using, so for me the size is good. I have a D40 with the 18-55 kit lens and the 55-200VR lens. With the kit lens attached, everything fits in the bag comfortably. With the telephoto lens attached, it just barely squeezes in there, but there's room on the sides for the kit lens and probably another small lens, like a 50mm. I don't think the bag would fit a bigger SLR or speedlights. ** IMPORTANT ** measure your camera with lens attached, in all dimensions, and compare to the specified dimensions of the bag before you buy the bag! I almost got the smaller 140 size, but after measuring my equipment with a ruler I knew it would've had to go back.

The front pocket is good for filters and some paper for notes, car keys, etc. The neck strap easily tucks into the sides of the main compartment. The bag exudes a sturdy, high-quality feel, like my other Lowepro bag. It opens out away from my body, a requisite for me, and it sits perfectly across my front so I can move my arms freely and reach in for the camera quickly. I can leave the main door unzipped and the camera is never in danger of falling out. My only wish is that the shoulder strap adjusted to a shorter length. I like to walk with the camera's neck strap around my neck and the camera in the bag, and this bag sits too low for that. Other than that, no complaints: it's compact, tough, and good for excursions with the minimum of equipment.

A nice bag with some caveats.......2007-05-31

The Lowepro Rezo 160 AW bag appears to be very well constructed (I still haven't taken it for a road test) and has some very nice add-ons (e.g., the weather-resistant cover). The rear-opening is also very useful when you need to take your photo gear out in a hurry while carrying the bag in your shoulder. However, it does not provide all the space it's supposed to have. I have a Canon Digital Rebel XTi with a 24-105mm f/4L IS USM lens, and I had to store the camera and the lens separately. The only space left is for the external flash or a small lens, and after that all the items will be tightly packed. I don't have plans to buy another lens for the time being so I will keep the bag. But as soon as I get another lens I will definitely need a bigger bag.

Perfect for a light duty day........2007-04-03

My priority was a small padded bag that'll carry my Canon 30D, EF-S 17-85mm f/4-5.6 IS USM, a EF-S 60mm f/2.8 USM Macro, and be slim enough to fit into a standard sized backpack.

This bag will hold 3 lenses. The most effective way to arrange the camera and lenses to fit is to open the lid, which conveniently opens away from you, and place the 60mm to the left. Then I can slide a short lense on the right side. Finally with the 17-85 on the body, slide the body in upside down with the flash away from you.

The short lense that goes on the right has to be shorter than the distance between the hand grip and the tip of the 17-85 lense because the bag is just long enough from top to bottom that my 30D with the 17-85, a UV filter, and lense cap will fit snuggly.

Otherwise, you can use the right side as extra storage ofcourse if all you need is 2 lenses for the day.

Also, there's quite a bit of storage space to put extra media, usb cable, keys, small wallet, and an energy bar or two with the combination of the left side and front compartments.

There's two inch and a half belt hoops spaced about two and a half inches apart on the back of the bag. There's also Lowepro's SlipLock Pouch attachment on the right side ready to expand for extra storage capacity. Definitely a plus if you need extra storage and you don't want to have to buy a whole new bag later or if you'd like the option to go slim again by detaching the extra pouches.

Also, it comes with a shoulder strap with hooks for attachments on either sides with complete rotational hooks that help with less tangling unlike my 30D Canon neck strap.

The all weather cover is a nice touch if you're hit with a surprise shower or something. It pulls out the bottom of the front pouch area and is teathered to the bag but you can stretch the elastic edges over the bag so that it covers most of the exposed surface area and just the back, belt loop side, is exposed. It's not gonna survive in a monsoon but it's definitely a good design and will help in light showers.

The handle feels almost like neoprene and is very comfortable.

Overall, the protective padding is fine for everyday transport and handling but it's not gonna dampen a drop onto concrete from table height. There's no small bag that can do that.

I took a gamble at buying such a small bag but in the end, I found that both my everyday lenses and even a small spare lense will fit snug as a bug in the Lowepro Rezo 160. And I can fit the whole bag into both my regular sized backpacks with ease.
