Good Speakers at a Good Price.......2007-12-18
I needed to downsize my surround system to accomadate a new couch and fireplace. We had Polk towers in the front with Bose 301's in the back, a subwoofer (off brand) and center channel. While this setup didn't sound too bad it was nothing like this Infinity system. The sound is much cleaner and very clear, no distortion at any level. I like the idea of hiding the speakers and getting great sound.

I bought it by the advice of other reviewers without hearing the system and I agree. It's a great speaker system, especially for $200.00. It's a good looking system, the speakers are small with great sound and the sub has a great kick. I bought it from Vanns, shipped in days from the west coast to the east coast for free. what a deal.

These speakers are incredible. I did a lot of research and saw their rating was very high on Consumer Reports. Sometimes those ratings can be a little "off", but I also some great ratings from individuals who had purchased them. I decided to make the purchase and I'm glad I did. Each of the satelite speakers are a little over 5 inches high, and they look GOOD! Paired with the crystal clear center channel and the "plenty powerful" sub, the sound is amazing coming from my Onky SR-604. Movies rock and CD sound fills my family room (15'x20'). I doubt you can do better for twice the price.
Good bass, the little speakers are weak in mid range.......2007-01-12
The bass box is good. The little speakers are to small too produce a good mid range sound. The wall brackets were easy to mount and the speakers look good.

Great Completer for my home Theater.......2007-11-03
When I bought my top of the line home Theater,7.1 (Output Channels for left front, center, right front, surround left, surround right, and subwoofer[the usual 5.1 configuration] PLUS two back separately driven integrated speaker channels for 7.1 config), I searched for the then top of the line subwoofer/speakers setup. Infinity TSS-450 was packaged for 5.1 sale, with the option to add individuals. I bought the package of 5.1, and a year later added one back, which accepted both back inputs. A year later, I bought this one, separating the back channels. The small but powerful speaker brings the room together. View "We Were Soldiers" and crank the sound up!! Better wear flack jackets and hard hats, though.

These speakers do a good job of reproducing the required bandwidth for surround applications. I cannot comment on using them as front or center channels.

These spades are used on my Monster cables. They work as advertised. I just think they are over-priced. In hindsight, I would have preferred these were already on the cables. I doubt I will ever change the connectors.
