I purchased this headset to work with an original Panasonic wireless 5.2 gig telephone. This is the recommended headset.

The headset is uncomfortable to wear. It has a very low volume, even when set to maximum. People at the other end of the conversation also tell me they can't hear me. After I switch back to the handset, they can hear me perfectly well.

I would return the product if shipping weren't the same price as the product.

This is my first-ever headset. I'll be using it primarily on my cordless Panasonic phones, but there's also a headset jack on my corded phone and my Motorola cellphone, so I may put it to use on those, too.

The speaker (in my ear) isn't crisp (what do you expect for $30?), which is why I dropped it from 5 stars, but for long conversations the convenience of not having to hold the receiver will be good. I've been told that the sound quality (mic) is good, though. Downside: you have to press AND HOLD the Mute button - it doesn't lock - so that's good only for short interruptions, else use the Mute button that's on the phone itself.

I considered the KX-TCA80 but it doesn't have volume/mute controls on the cord so I spent the extra $10 for those features.

this is a very comfortable, inexpensive headset. I do have to turn up the volume on the phone to hear properly with it, but the sound is clear. It folds up compactly and works on both cell and cordless phones.

I purchased two of these batteries for my self and my son when the originals quit taking a charge. They work as well as the ones that came with the phone. They look identical to the batteries we had. The are still fine after nearly a year. You can't beat the price since the local Verizon guy wanted 50.00 each for replacements! How do they get away with that? Worth the money!

Had another headset before but the headband broke. My fault as I am a bit tuff on things. I like the looks and fit, however every time I have used this headphone with my Panasonic phone ( I have 2 units and have tried both), people can't hear me very well and say I am breaking up, whereas I can hear them just fine Hope this helps.

This was the best $13 that I've spent in a long time. My wife and I work on the phone a lot, and this add-on to our Panasonic cordless phone literally saved our necks. True, there's no volume control or other bells and whistles, and the headset pressure behind the ear can get tiring, but for moderate length calls (say up to 40 minutes), it's been great.

Authentic Motorola Battery.
Made my KRZR K1 hold a charge like it used to. After 1-year my KRZR would last only 15-20min of talk time, now I only need to charge every 3-4 days.

I recently purchased two of these batteries. One of them never worked. Trying to make the first charge service the phone enters in a hang process where it switched on and off continuosly.

The second one accepted the charge. But it only last less than 6 hour after being charged.

Is my second problem with these batteries. The first time I received a no brand chinese batery that never, never worked. I was expecting a Sony-Ericcsson battery that was that they were announcing.

The original battery of the phone is a branded battery from Singapure. It really works very nice. It last up to 5-7 days working without any problem; even listening music frecuently.

The second battery was a no brand chinese battery; it never worked.

The third battery was an original branded battery from China, but it last only 5-6 hours after being charged.

The fourth battery was also an original branded but from China too, and it never worked. It hanged the phone trying to make the first charge process.

I want to alert Amazon buyers about these poor quality products they are purchasing and selling to us from China. If factories from China don't enter in a deep total quality process to offer better products, they, sooner than later, will have to eat its own rubbish products. Remember Mattel. And companies from USA are running to there to lower their costs but exposing their customers to these bad products.

Excuse my writing but I'm really very, very angry. Amazon, you are exposing your very good business with these partners.

BST-37 Sony Standard Battery.......2007-10-29

Through random experimentation I determined that the BST-37 Sony Ericsson Standard Battery ceases to hold charge after being submerged in lake water. The replacement battery available through Amazon appears identical to my original cellphone battery and has allowed me to use my phone at distances greater than 3 feet from an electrical outlet. (It also cost me a third of what the cellphone store was asking.)

These Old New batteries that don't hold a charge.......2007-12-30

These batteries have to be old stock. I ordered 2 and only used one to start. The wife and I have the same phone. It charged overnite and did not last 12 hours on standby even without use of the phone. When I complained they replaced the one battery with the same problem in a timely manner, then I tried the original battery I never charged. Well all 3 batteries have some sort of problem and don't hold a charge even for half a day. One of them shows dead on the phone throughout the charge cycle. I was very concerned about it damaging the phone, They offered to take back one. Then i gave up it's not worth returning for what the refund would be. For OEM product it is very poor.

I received this battery in a timely manner and more than met my expectations. At first my phone would not charge but it was the phone not the battery. If yours does not charge, take it to a service center. Mine just needed welding and now works great.

A great Skype phone.......2007-10-29

I had a bit of a time finding a decent phone for use with my skype until I found this one. I keep my home phone to no long distance and of course cell phones only allow so many "anytime" minutes. I bought a year of skype and was very pleased with quality over a headset using the sound card through the computer but I did not desire to be tethered to the computer each time I needed to make a call. The first cordless skype phone I bought was horrendous (read my review of it also) and was becoming discouraged. I could not understand what is so complicated about getting decent quality from a cordless skype phone when you can so easily from a regular cordless phone.

I bought this phone not expecting much but still hopeful. I was pleasantly surprised. At first it was not the greatest as I kept getting drops in my calls that I never got using the sound card in the computer. I was using version 3.5 of the skype software and decided to try downgrading the software to 2.5. That was the trick, now this phone delivers great quality calls with no drops. This phone can also be used as a regular phone but I have not used or tried it that way as I am pleased with what I already have.

Using the 2.5 version of skype I say this phone is worth the money, and I almost forgot that it uses AAA rechargables (included) but if you need quick power you can put regular AAA in to make a call (just don"t forget to remove them before placing the phone back in the charging base.

You do need to have an AC outlet close for the base, I mention this since many are powered solely through the USB but this one is not.

I'm pleased with the quality I get from this phone and recommend to anyone looking for a good cordless skype phone.

Simple Product - Great to Use.......2007-12-31

I like this product because I can quickly put in my ear when driving and take out when not using. I do not use the ear loop...only the ear gel. I have tried the Jawbone and Blue Ant bluetooth headsets that are supposed to be the best on the market. Bluetooth just isn't there yet for clear, crisp communications. Wired provides the best quality connection....unfortunately. I bought three of these to make sure I always had one. Jabra might be phasing them out, but this is a nice headset for the reasons above.

It works, but the build quality is low. The ear hook, especially, is a piece of junk, with the joint extremely poorly made. It will break quickly with normal use. In fact, mine broke within the first day when everything was handled normally and carefully. Fortunately, the ear hook is only optional. The headset works without the ear hook, in fact probably works better without it. The rest of the unit has typical build quality of low-end cheap plastic products today, but at least usable.

I am not the talker but, listener of the person using this. I hated the static, noise, and poor fidelity of other headsets that it would really bother me.

This headset is clear and I can hear my wife's words very cleary, w/o out any muffled distortion...the best wired head set for any phone.

I ordered this elswhere, but I wish I used amazon. It only came with 2 large ear gels. i didnt get 2 medium or 2 small ones and I didnt get the ear foad pads (which I really wanted).

Anyhow, it sounds good on my cordless phone. depending on the caller it is sometimes soft. Wish you could adjust the volume but there is no control to do that. It also says it has a answer/end button (depending on cell phone) but I didnt see one on there.

On cell phone the caller sounded like they had some more bass to them.

Otherwise I love the design and it sounds pretty good in general.

Hands Free Driving.......2007-08-12

I purchased this product so I could chat with my family while driving to and from work. It conveniently fits in one ear without the headset looking microphone so you don't feel like you are working at Old Navy or in a call center. You should be sure to plug it in before driving so there's no extra fiddling around, the only inconvenience associated with non-wireless capabilities. Quite often the person I am speaking with complains of not being able to hear me very well, but after a microphone adjustment it seems to be aleviated.

This headset is great. My friends can hear me better when I talk with the headset plugged in than without it. And I hear better too. I used a Motorola headset before but the Plantronics is far better than the Motorola.
